if you like shopping, this street is for you but even if you don’t particularly like shopping, like myself, there’s beautiful architecture the entire Street. so every thing for just about everyone and on the bright side, on the one end of the street you have the river on the other side if you walk further enough, there’s the peoples park, which is also a nice breakaway area from all the busyness of shopping. you can’t use bicycles on the actual street but you can use and park them on the adjacent street if you need to.

Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street during the day is completely different from the night. During the day, you see architecture and at night you see lights. Nanjing Road at night gives people a sense of paper drunkenness, retro and romantic. The whole street is not long, from West Street to East Street about 800 meters, the famous Cailan, Peace Hotel are here, to the end is the Bund.

A must place to visit in Shanghai. It is located just in the corner of the famous Bund. A long street with many shops, local-and international eateries, street performances and many shopping malls...an unique experience, especially at night in Shanghai.
