Xi'an Dongyue Temple was once a famous Taoist temple in the ancient city. It is located in the east gate of the ancient city wall of Xi'an. There are three temples in existence. The most famous is the exquisite murals in the hall, which depict the situation of the 72nd Division of Dongyue. It is purely Taoist theme. The textual introduction is said to be based on Buddhism. It's really a shame.

Xi'an's Dongyue Temple is located at No. 1 Shuncheng East Road, Dongcheng East Road, Dongli, and is also the seat of Xi'an Folk Museum. Xi'an Dongyue Temple is not large in scale and should have been decayed. There are only a few temples left. The main point is the murals on the walls, but it is not allowed to take pictures.

Dongyue Temple is dedicated to the emperor Dongyue who is responsible for the life and death of the world in Taoism. There are Dongyue Temples in China, such as Beijing Dongyue Temple is also a Beijing Folk Museum, and Xi'an Dongyue Temple is also listed as Xi'an Folk Museum. When visiting, several large halls were in the exhibition, temporarily closed.

I have always felt that Dongyue Temple should be in Dongyue Taishan. Why is there Dongyue Temple here? It is still more curious, but also walk in to worship, first worship the Vedo Bodhisattva, worship the Maitreya Buddha.
