The rooftop view is truly beautiful~ It's a shame I didn't come up at night, otherwise it would have been absolutely stunning. The room was comfortable and spacious. The best part is the excellent soundproofing! There are sliding doors that can block out noise~ There are also free yukata available for rent to use for hot springs, and a swimming pool on the rooftop~ Truly a great hotel!

One of the nice features of this hotel is that you can enjoy the onsen while looking out over the ocean. However, it is not very convenient without a car. I walked all the way from Beppu Station before discovering that the hotel offers a free shuttle bus. I’ve attached the shuttle bus schedule—I’d strongly recommend using it. The room was the biggest disappointment. Although it was advertised as a renovated, high-floor ocean-view room, it still felt very old. The bathroom was especially outdated, and there was a very high step between the bathroom and the room, making it easy to trip. The room really feels like it needs a proper renovation. Overall, the ocean-view onsen was enjoyable, but the rooms did not match my expectations.

It’s perfect for watching sunrise as our room was facing direct east. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn’t watch that. Location wise is perfect if looking for a getaway in tranquility, otherwise got to drive out for dining or convenience stores. Hotel staff is very polite and friendly. They also serve afternoon snack around 3pm. A very nice gesture especially for guests waiting for check in.

This resort is perfect for young people! It's just a short walk from where the airport bus drops you off. The entire hotel is set within a park, offering low-density accommodations and high privacy, making it very quiet. The breakfast was a bit ordinary, but it's where you get your veggies in Japan! The freshly made pancakes were simple yet delicious. The private onsen (hot spring bath) was fantastic, with natural light during the day, and you could even hear birds walking on the roof. The room was spacious and well-designed, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The little shops in the park had great food. Plus, there's a bookstore across the street that's open until 11 PM, which was a lovely touch. I'll definitely be back!

This onsen hotel exceeded my expectations – it was truly excellent! First off, every room has its own private onsen, offering complete privacy, so you can enjoy a hot spring bath anytime you like! The hotel environment is beautiful, perfect for taking photos. We were lucky enough to encounter snow, which was the icing on the cake! What's more, the room was fully equipped and impeccably clean! Since we visited in winter, it was incredibly thoughtful that there were heaters everywhere, even in the bathroom. We booked the 'one night, two meals' package, and the food was delicious! The dishes were very unique, and you could really feel the restaurant's dedication. Extremely satisfied! The staff were excellent – friendly and approachable, making me feel right at home. Regarding transportation, we originally planned to drive, but canceled our car rental due to the weather. We took the train to Yufu Eki, pre-booked the shuttle with the hotel, and arrived in about 10 minutes! Overall, this is a highly recommended gem of a hotel! I'll definitely be back!

The location is remote and the transportation is inconvenient. I called the hotel but they didn't answer the phone, so I had to take a taxi. There are not many taxis in Yufuin... It's about 160 yuan... It's like a small house in the countryside, more suitable for older people to drive by themselves. The surrounding area is very desolate and not recommended for children. There are about 7-8 households in the whole yard, with a total of 4 private baths, which need to be used with a sign. The outdoor pool is also outdoors, and it's very windy and cold in winter... Dinner is OK...

Room: neat clean space. lights and Aircon . the area between the beds is very spacious and there are large lockers so plenty of space to store your stuff . Bathroom: two normal showers and a large shower room where you can rent a bath hammock thing. three vanity sinks in this bathroom, then there's a toilet room with three toilets and three sinks, so lots of options. shampoo conditioner and body wash supplied. decent hairdryer. washing machine 300 yen, then dryer 100 yen per 15 mins. Security: pin code on dormitory. Amenities: there is a kitchen space and you can also order food from the 5th floor of the tower to the hostel lounge. Location: about ten minute walk from the station. plenty of eating places and shops nearby. there is a bus stop right outside. Other: might be useful if there were bins in the dormitory rather than having to go back and forth between the lounge. hooks in the bed area might also be useful e.g. for hanging your towel, although I suppose you could put it in your locker

It was evening when we arrived, and there wasn't much service, just a simple check-in. The room was quite old, but it's very convenient because it's close to the station, about a 10-minute walk. The roads in Yufuin are narrow and uneven, so pushing luggage was tiring, which made even a 10-minute walk feel long. The value for money isn't great; it's old and small, and everything inside looks like it's from the 90s.

a bit of walk from the train station as you can find places that are nearer if you are carrying more suitcases. i dont mind the walk as you pass by a lot of nice restaurants. can walk along the commercial street under shade even though hot summer day it is still quite sweaty. there seems to be a nice restaurant on the second floor but didnt get a chance to try. right near art museum and auditorium. quite city center.

This hotel offers great value for money. The lobby is quite luxurious, and the breakfast spread is plentiful. From the room, you can enjoy a beautiful city view. The hotel seems to host a lot of weddings, but it's a bit far from the commercial district, though there's a bus stop right outside.
