This was my first time staying at Babahouse, and I really loved the concept and traditional style of the hotel. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink coin for the entire stay — 1 coin per person, per room. Since we had 2 rooms for 2 days, we received 4 coins in total. A nice little touch that made us feel welcomed. When we entered our rooms, they were generally clean, tidy and comfortable. However, in one of the rooms, we noticed some mould on the towel and also on the bed. We understand that this can happen if a room has been unoccupied for some time, especially with the humid weather. We also noticed that only some of the room windows have coverings, which may contribute to the room condition. Hopefully, the management can pay extra attention to this. The weather outside was extremely hot, with no rain for the whole week, so the first thing we did was turn the air-conditioning on full blast! We also tried the gym and really enjoyed it. Although the gym is small, the space is sufficient for a simple workout. They also provide towels and drinking water, which is very convenient. Around the hotel, there is Rumah Kechik Café and also a hidden bar on the side, which adds to the overall charm and experience. During our stay, we didn't drive around much. We mainly went out to Jonker Street and simply walked from the hotel. It was easy and convenient, and it also saved us time from dealing with traffic and finding parking. Overall, I really enjoyed my first stay at Babahouse. I love the traditional concept, atmosphere and location. With a little more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, I believe the experience could be even better. Definitely a place I would consider staying again when visiting Melaka.

The rooms were poorly maintained for a 5-star hotel. I was shocked with the amount of mould growing on the grout and corners within the room that were not scrubbed. It’s clear that the cleaning policies were lacking at this hotel. Swimming pool water was dirtier than usual. If you look into the pool, you’ll be able to see black coloured particles floating in the pool. Breakfast wise was normal, nothing much to rave. Spread was a 3.5/5. Quality wise was 3/5. Their nasi lemak rice was bland, without any coconut fragrance. Disappointing for the fact that it’s their national dish. There’s no live eggs station due to the sheer number of guests having their bf in one large hall. Quite a disappointing experience overall but for the price paid, I can’t complain much.

I really loved staying here! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. 👍🏻 I forgot to request room decorations for our anniversary in advance, but fortunately, the staff were kind enough to accommodate my request. They surprised us with simple decorations and a complimentary cake, which made our special day even happier and more memorable. 🥰🎂 A special shout-out to Ms Ima, Ms Izza, Ms Aisha & Ms Betty for your great service. 👏🏼👏🏼 Your kindness truly means a lot to us. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also loved the view! We were lucky enough to enjoy views of the town, the sea, and the surrounding Klebang area. 🌊✨ Lastly, I really loved the breafast options & taste, it was variety and good quality of food 😍 I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay. ❤️

Overall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away. However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about: 1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully. 2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed. 3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy. 4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

Amazing Stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hi, I’m Aida from Room 2138. I stayed at Hatten Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and I had such a wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised that no deposit was required during check-in, which made the process even more convenient. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel was quite crowded during my stay, probably because of the Merdeka celebrations and school holidays, but the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. The only minor downside was that the lifts could get quite crowded, but honestly, that was just a small issue compared to the overall great experience. The location is also a huge plus—very convenient and strategic. Overall, I’m really happy with my stay and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended! ❤️

Very comfortable hotel with a pool, suitable for kids. Great location near the River Cruise jetty, and walking distance to Dataran Pahlawan along the riverside path. Beautiful views... worth it. Shops, especially Speedmart99 and Mamak Sri Sahabat, have really delicious and affordable food. The staff, from top to bottom, are all kind, friendly, and welcoming. You should definitely stay at this hotel... it's worth it. I stayed 1 night, then extended to 3 nights! 😆😆

This was my first time in Malacca, and it was also my birthday. I requested a room with a nice view if possible, and not only did I get a great view, but the room was also beautifully decorated for my birthday celebration, which really touched me! All the staff were incredibly kind, and the location was convenient, within walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. It was a truly enjoyable trip.

I had a very pleasant stay at Tamara Melaka. The hotel offers a comfortable and relaxing environment, with well-maintained rooms and a clean, modern atmosphere. The staff were professional, courteous, and attentive throughout my stay. The location is convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions and dining options. Overall, the service, comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality were impressive. It was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely consider staying at Tamara Melaka again on my next visit.

I booked a 1-night stay in their Lux King Ocean Room at The Lisbon Melaka as I read that it’s a new international hotel that opened a year ago. The room feels very cozy when I entered. The fixtures were still new and the beds were comfortable. It’s come with a smart TV which is a plus point in this day and age. Though it will be better if the TV is slightly bigger as it’s only 32”. The balcony was dismal and the ocean wasn’t that therapeutic and was partially blocked. The breakfast buffet was a letdown as well. There wasn’t much options for selections though the hotel was proclaimed as a 5 star luxury hotel. For the room rate at about RM$337 on a weekday, it’s definitely on a higher side. I think likely also due to low occupancy. Throughout my stay, the hotel was fairly empty and not many rooms were occupied. The courtyard area was really nice, which elevates the resort feel. The pool and gym nearby was really small. So I did not use the facilities. The spa room wasn’t tenanted out too. There was no lift as well, definitely not user friendly for the elderly. Staff Shamirul and other guest relations personnel were polite too. Same applies to the security which offers good service. Will I return, it’s very unlikely.

Extremely satisfying! The check-in process was smooth and fast. The Front Office staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and tidy. The view from the room was truly beautiful, overlooking the sea and the city of Melaka, especially in the morning and at night. The swimming pool is also very attractive with an open view, and there's a special pool for children, perfect for a family vacation. The gymnasium is well-equipped with quality equipment and is in good condition. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely come again in the future.
