Hotels With Bar in Melaka State, Malaysia

I booked a sea view room and could overlook the Strait of Malacca from there. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to many attractions, and next to a large shopping area with numerous malls, making it convenient for shopping. I even found some non-touristy seafood restaurants and local specialty shops nearby, which were affordable and delicious. Although the facilities are a bit old, the place is clean, and the hotel itself is quite luxurious. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose it again and recommend it to friends for future visits.

Very satisfied with the room, breakfast, and service. It's a shame the pool was a bit small and mostly in direct sunlight all day, so I didn't get to swim, which was a bit disappointing. The parking is in a public garage, and you have to give your ticket to the front desk for free validation, which was a bit inconvenient.

I decided to stay at this hotel for the  second time due to its convenient location and affordable online booking rate at Trip booking.There are Mc D behind n the restaurants also reachable, I mean within walking distance. The staff are very friendly , the room is clean , well decorated n the facilities are well maintained.The staff attended n response to our complaints immediately.Late check out with affordable price. Have complimentary drinks served at d lobby. However , the quality of the room door needs  to be improved .

The room we took was Family Suite, very spacious and has 5 pax beds. Nice location and close to many spots nearby. The car park is shared with Hatten Hotel, need to walk 200 - 300 m to lobby at L3. Appreciate some deco can be done along the walkway from parking to Estadia Lobby, may be belong to Majlis Bandaraya Melaka. Room ok, could have offered breakfast for Suite package. The lobby and lifts are clean and well deco. The carpets in the room is clean but need some perfume to remove odor. Others all ok.

My stay was perfect as this hotel have all these: 1. ample parking space just infront of the hotel 2. spacious room with ironboard, fridge, kettle, tea & coffee and drinking water 3. big bathroom with toothbrush, body wash, shampoo towel, face towel and toilet with bidet 4. hotel breakfast if purchased with room was good and compliments to the chef also the service assistant rahman was efficient. 5. checking in and out was fast.

This hotel just opened this year, and the lobby is very grand and beautiful. The room is also comfortable and spacious 👍. The hotel is right by the sea. We stayed on a high floor with a balcony, and the morning view was stunning. The staff were also very helpful, enthusiastic, and always smiling. I would definitely come back here again on my next trip 💛.

We had a good rest at Hallmark Crown Hotel. The room was a bit small but clean. The bedsheets and towels were clean. The water pressure was very good, the air conditioning was comfortable and the service was above satisfactory. The room has all the basic facilities and amenities. Upon checking in, we found the room kettle was rusty but it was promptly replaced by a good one after we brought it up to the operation's attention. The sewage system disappointed us, too. On our first night, our toilet choked. But the technician came promptly and cleared the mess. The bathroom waste water took a long time to go down too but we did not make a complaint. The continental breakfast was average but sufficient. The checking out procedure was also fuss free. Overall, Hallmark Crown provides a decent accommodation at a budget price.

The lobby decor was quite grand, though noticeably vintage. Check-in was quick, and the staff even offered a welcome drink. Parking is free for both entry and exit; you just need to validate your license plate at the front desk each time you enter. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bedding was excellent. As it's a renovated hotel, some of the grout in the bathroom still had grime. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, and it's within walking distance to Jonker Street, which is a big plus. We paid for breakfast for two, but the value for money wasn't great. The food selection and taste were decent, but there were limited main dishes. For example, when we went for breakfast at 7:30 AM, there were only 3 siomai left. They were delicious, but despite waiting until 9:30 AM, they were never refilled. The replenishment speed for all food, fruit, milk, etc., was very poor, with many items not being refilled at all.

Bayview Hotel Melaka offers a pleasant and comfortable stay that covers all the essentials for a simple getaway. The room was clean and well-kept, providing a nice space to rest after a day of sightseeing. While the facilities are not particularly luxurious, everything functioned as expected and met the basic needs of a short stay. The staff were the highlight of the experience. They were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. Their warm attitude made the overall stay feel more welcoming. The location is convenient, with easy access to Melaka’s main attractions such as Jonker Street and the river area. It’s suitable for guests looking for a fuss-free hotel that’s reasonably priced and comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Overall, Bayview Hotel Melaka is an average but reliable option—clean rooms, helpful staff, and a good base for exploring the city.

We previously visited in 2023 as a couple. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable. The hotel service was excellent as well. This year, we returned again with our two children, and it was totally worth it. Highly recommended
