Facilities: The hotel facilities are just average, and the hotel is quite old. This seems to be pretty standard for hotels in Hong Kong. Hygiene: The hotel hygiene is okay, but I don't understand why they only clean once if you stay for several days, or once every two days. Environment: It's alright. Service: The hotel service isn't great. I stay in Hong Kong frequently, and the service here is quite subpar. The luggage storage was the most troublesome part.

The good things: Regala Hotel is located around 800 meters away from Hong Hong International Airport. They provide free shuttle bus, and it takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the hotel from Terminal 1 and back. They also have shuttle busses to Tung Chung metro station, Disneyland and even Hong Kong-Macau-Zhuhai bus station, although it’s just twice a day. My room was small but smartly designed, light colored with lots of mirrors so it looked bigger. There was everything I needed for a short stay. There’s a water machine in the corridor so you can use a dedicated water bottle from the room to refill it. There’s a small refrigerator under the table which is useful There’s a pool, you can swim if the weather permits😅 The bad things: The floor in the room looked like it wasn’t mapped. There was some hair in the bathroom drawers. The light switches and bed sides had old dust on them There was shampoo in the Shower Gel bottle

It's about a 10-minute walk from Terminal 1. The hotel is quite large, and the rooms are spacious by Hong Kong standards. There are purified water dispensers along the corridors where you can refill your bottle. Breakfast was good, with changfen, and made-to-order omelets and noodles, though the auntie making them was a bit lukewarm in her attitude. Other than that, everything else was pretty good, and you can see the airport from the room.

This hotel is located in the Grand Century Place, right above Mong Kok East MTR station. You can access it directly from Exit D, which is super convenient. After a concert, I was able to grab some McDonald's from the mall even past 11 PM, which was a huge plus. **Environment:** Being inside a shopping mall is great for browsing and shopping. Mannings and Watsons are on the first floor, Muji is on the second, and there's a supermarket on the fifth, along with plenty of restaurant choices. There's even a Mihn's just outside the hotel, so finding food is never an issue. **Hygiene:** They provide toothbrushes, so no need to bring your own. Housekeeping is very prompt daily. The only thing is there's no separate shower, so you have to shower in the tub. They have filtered drinking water available, but no bottled water. **Service:** They try their best to accommodate all requests. I asked for cutlery at 11 PM and it was delivered very quickly. It's also really convenient for concerts at Kai Tak; just three stops on the Tuen Ma Line. Getting back to the hotel after the show was quick too. Excellent! I'd definitely choose Royal Plaza again next time!

The cleaning staff provided excellent service. I stayed here for Leon Lai's concert, and it was super convenient to get to the Hong Kong Coliseum. Coming from Japan, compared to the small Japanese hotels, this one felt huge. It's an older hotel, so the hallways looked a bit dated, but my room itself was very new. The carpets and walls were clean, and the view from the window was good. The bathroom even had hand cream, which was great for me since I wash my hands a lot. The biggest issue was the air conditioning was very noisy, but I could turn it off. The airport bus stop is conveniently located across the street at Hung Hom Station. The hotel also has a free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. If I wasn't heading to Seoul right after for another show, I would have stayed an extra night to catch the last Leon Lai concert. On another note, the cleaning staff on my floor were incredibly nice, smiling and friendly, and even proactively suggested places to visit nearby. Most of the front desk staff, however, were just okay – a bit aloof and seemed unwilling to say much. It's been many years since I last visited Hong Kong, and while some people are great, others are a bit snobbish. I honestly wouldn't have made a special trip if it wasn't for Leon Lai's 40th-anniversary concert.

Located in Wan Chai, the hotel boasts a great location and has been recently renovated. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional and doesn't feel cramped for two people; it's quite comfortable. The soundproofing in the room is also good. One thing I couldn't quite understand is why, during the renovation, they didn't update the charging outlets to be more universal. I still needed an adapter for my Apple devices, and it was easy to accidentally hit the switch, which would stop the charging.

SSUNSHAORU 2026.03.23
We booked this hotel specifically for our trip to Hong Kong Disneyland with the kids, mainly because of the free shuttle bus to the MTR station and the rare two 1.5-meter beds. Otherwise, the hotel's location is quite remote; it's hard to even figure out how to walk anywhere from there. It's true that the hotel staff weren't very smiley. But the most frustrating thing for me was discovering there was no power adapter in the room when we were about to go to bed, even though we brought our own phone chargers. I called the front desk to borrow one, and they actually said they didn't have any and that guests needed to bring their own! That's a bit ridiculous. While there were USB ports on the plugs for charging, the speed was incredibly slow – my power bank wasn't even fully charged after an entire night! Another tip for everyone: don't wait for the shuttle at Tsuen Wan West Station; the service is infrequent. After getting off at West Kowloon, we saw Tsuen Wan West was closer on the MTR map, so we went there to wait for the hotel bus. Turns out it only runs at specific times, so we ended up taking a taxi directly to the hotel. They charged extra for luggage, and it cost over 70 HKD in total, which was a bit painful! It's much better to wait for the free shuttle at Tsuen Wan Station; there are more frequent services there!

I had a great stay at Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong and I’m truly impressed by their service. After checking out, I realized that I had forgotten three items in the room. Honestly, I didn’t even expect to get them back — but the hotel staff managed to locate all of them and returned everything to me. That was amazing and really exceeded my expectations. It shows how professional and trustworthy their team is. The location is also a huge plus. The hotel is directly above and next to a mall, which makes it super convenient to find something to eat or grab anything you need. It’s also situated very close to the MTR, making it easy to get around the city. The room itself is quite spacious for the price, especially by Hong Kong standards. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider coming back again.

The hotel is right next to Jordan MTR station, and the area around it is bustling. It's not far from Tsim Sha Tsui and Victoria Harbour, easily walkable. For Hong Kong, the room size is definitely spacious, and you can't really ask for more. Check-in is on the second floor, and luggage storage is on the first, which is quite convenient. They even provided a complimentary mini-bar. It offers great value for money.

This is by far the best value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in Hong Kong. It just opened at the end of 2024, so the facilities are brand new, spotless, and incredibly refined. The room size was a pleasant surprise! In a city like Hong Kong, where space is a luxury, even the standard rooms are a generous 38 sqm, feeling spacious and airy with excellent natural light. The high-floor rooms offer unbeatable views – a stunning city panorama by day and a glittering nightscape. You can even catch glimpses of Victoria Harbour from your room. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Hong Kong, and I truly recommend it to all my friends visiting the city!

GGuest UserThe location is far from the MTR (subway). You have to take a shuttle bus or a regular bus, and getting to other places requires multiple transfers; there's no direct route. This might be inconvenient for tourists traveling into the city as it involves several changes of transport. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas. The front desk service is good, friendly, and helpful. However, the housekeeping staff was good for the first two nights, but on the last night, they didn't clea3n the room despite the sign clearly hung outside requesting cleaning.

GGuest UserTwenty years ago, when I first visited Hong Kong on a tour, I stayed at the Rambler Garden Hotel next door. Back then, this entire complex had just opened, and this area wasn't even on my Hong Kong friend's new map. From my room, I could see the Stonecutters Bridge under construction and the container terminal below. Back then, we had bulky CRT TVs on the windowsills; now, there are flat-screen TVs mounted on the walls. The hotel is very clean, and housekeeping is prompt and thorough. The room is quite small, which is typical for Hong Kong. The wardrobe and other furniture haven't been replaced in twenty years, and some pieces are showing wear and tear. The mini-fridge, which used to be under the wardrobe, is now on the windowsill. The nightstand, previously between the two beds, has been moved to the side closer to the bathroom. Some of the worn areas definitely need timely repairs. Tsing Yi is a relatively secluded island, and as one of only two hotels here, transportation relies on minibuses 88F and 88G plus the MTR, which is reasonably convenient. Because of its somewhat remote location, the big advantage is the excellent value for money. For the same price, hotels in areas like Jordan or Central would be even smaller and lack any cabinets or chairs. WeChat Pay and Alipay are widely accepted in many places, though a few smaller shops still hold out, accepting only cash. All three meals can be had at the Café de Coral restaurant on L1. There's also a convenient ParknShop supermarket where you can top up your Octopus card at the checkout. On L1, you'll also find a Bank of China (Hong Kong) ATM. You can withdraw Hong Kong dollars directly using any UnionPay debit card; it automatically converts the currency, and I found the exchange rate to be quite good at 0.88. There's a flat fee of HK$10 per transaction. Twenty years ago, the hotel used to sell Disneyland tickets. Now, it's so easy to buy tickets online via mobile, so that service is no longer offered. That's all I can think of for now. Time to rest.

GGuest UserReview: A Clean, Budget-Friendly Stay with a View Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) I recently stayed at the Rambler Oasis Hotel in Hong Kong and overall, it was a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a clean and affordable place to rest, this is a solid choice. The Highlights: • Clean and Comfortable: The room was tidy and well-maintained, which is always the top priority for me. • The View: I was pleasantly surprised to have an ocean view, which added a nice touch to the stay. • Airport Accessibility: This is a major plus for travelers. The hotel is very conveniently located for those arriving or departing from HKIA. • Budget-Friendly Transport: Getting to and from the airport is a breeze and very cheap. I used the A32 bus, which only costs HKD $20—an excellent way to save on transit costs compared to the Airport Express or taxis. Things to Consider: • Location: While the hotel is great, keep in mind that it is quite far from the central tourist hubs of Hong Kong. If you are planning to spend most of your time in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, or Causeway Bay, be prepared to spend a bit of time commuting back and forth. Final Verdict: If you don't mind a commute in exchange for a clean room, a great view, and a very convenient/cheap route to the airport, the Rambler Oasis is a fantastic value option.

传说中的陈大哥88The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel has a great overall ambiance, though its location is a bit inconvenient, being some distance from the MTR station. However, the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The dim sum and Chinese set meals at Jade restaurant were exceptionally delicious, and the service there was excellent. The rooms were also very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

GGuest UserLocation: Extremely convenient for getting around, which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. It's right above Exit F of Admiralty Station, just one stop away from Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Ocean Park. Plus, Pacific Place is right downstairs, with plenty of major brands, making shopping and dining very easy. The Peak Tram station is also quite close; you can walk there after getting off the tram. Cleanliness: Just so-so. You could visibly see a layer of dust on the holders for the wall-mounted shower gel and shampoo bottles. Facilities: The room size is actually quite spacious for Hong Kong. The decor might be a bit dated, making the whole style feel a bit old-fashioned, and the facilities show their age. The mattress also had a slight sag. Additionally, there was only a bathtub and no separate shower, which was a bit inconvenient. Environment: Really good! There are mountains and the sea. From the mountain view rooms, you can see Victoria Peak and the Peak Tower, and the night view is lovely when the lights come on. There's also Hong Kong Park nearby. Service: Generally polite.
