Two nights in couple in this hotel where we found what we expected from the reviews we had seen. good quality/price ratio, check in and out simple and fast, gentle the receptionist, satisfactory cleaning and furniture, a little washing room but nothing bad, needs the car but parking is not a problem. the city centre is five minutes drive. there is no frigobar in the room and only one automatic distributor at the entrance

Es la segunda vez que vamos después de estrenarnos en febrero y tenemos intención de repetir. El check-in y check-out se realiza en el hotel, a poca distancia de los apartamentos y con personal muy educado y agradable. El apartamento básico dispone de un salón comedor amplio con sofá-cama y terraza grande, cocina independiente con terraza y jardín, un dormitorio, una habitación con dos camas y baño. Está decorado moderno y con gusto, totalmente equipado con menaje de cocina y mesa, placa de inducción, micro, tostador, cafetera italiana, plancha, secador, televisores en salón y dormitorio... La parte que afea el apartamento en las dos ocasiones que hemos estado es el baño, con evidentes señales de desgaste en bañera y puertas, tamaño reducido y sin extractor. Atención con la cocina: hay un interruptor para el uso de microondas/extractor y agua caliente/calefacción por separado. Viene todo perfectamente explicado en una hoja de bienvenida con información importante que te proporcionan en el check-in o dejan a la vista en el salón comedor. He leído algún comentario donde este punto lo ponen a parir y no es ningún defecto de ABBA sino una medida de seguridad regulada por la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria. Por favor, lean esa información para evitar sorpresas y comentarios desagradables sin razón de ser. El sofá con tejido anti-manchas suavísimo y las camas comodísimas a más no poder, las almohadas bajitas pero cómodas, dos por persona. Sólo utilizan sábana bajera, agradable al tacto. El edredón, ligero, parecía el mismo en febrero y en junio y sólo hemos visto una manta ligera por habitación. Las toallas son una pasada. La presión del agua, genial, de diez. Y el suelo es comodísimo también, con baldosa tipo rústico y madera en las habitaciones, muy agradable para quienes nos encanta ir descalzos. Por poner un pero, y en realidad tiene su importancia: se oye todo. Las paredes parecen de papel, puertas, pasos, uso del baño... se oye el más mínimo ruido de los vecinos. Limpieza absoluta en todos los rincones. No tan presente en el menaje, entiendo que depende más de la limpieza de cada huésped. No hay problema de aparcamiento, disponen de uno privado bajo los apartamentos pero en la calle hay plazas gratuitas alrededor y es una zona muy amplia y tranquila, a unos 5 minutillos del centro en coche.

Hotel situato in una posizione eccellente, vicino al centro della città dove sono i negozi, ristoranti e la vita notturna e di fronte al mare. Le spiagge sono raggiungibili facilmente anche attraverso bus (fermata di fronte all'hotel). La camera molto carina, pulita, con tutto il necessario. Unica pecca la camera singola è veramente piccola, il bagno invece è ampio e con una bella doccia ma manca il bidet (presente invece nella doppia).

Recently stayed in this beautiful town on our Camino adventure. The hotel is somewhat olde world and while some reviews I had read were quite critical of the state of the rooms and indeed the service, that was not our experience. Hotel is located one block back from a magnificent beach which has a 4K promenade. Check in was seamless and receptionist was very friendly. Our room was a decent one, clean/ quiet albeit we could have done with aircon as weather was quite warm. While breakfast was served on site (typical continental breakfast), there was no facility to eat at night ( staff however provided decent recommendations). The town has multiple bars/ restaurants within 5/7 minutes walk of the hotel.

From the outside the hotel doesn’t look like much but the interior more than makes up for it. Welcomed very nicely by staff and was easy to find our room. Room was a great size and lay out and the bed was incredibly comfy. There were always staff available if needed but we didn’t have any problems. The hotel was in a great location and the beaches and restaurant were lovely.

Overall this was a great hotel to stay at. The staff are very helpful. They switched rooms for us without missing a beat when we discovered that we only had one double bed instead of two singles (we are not, ahem, small people) and helped us figure out dinner plans. The room is decent - it is showing a bit of wear and tear (chips in the paint and that sort of thing) but it is clean and the beds are comfortable (very firm, which we like, but of course not everybody does). Our only complaint was the wifi - we apparently can only have two devices attached at a time, but even after ‘forgetting’ the network on my phone, I still got an error message saying I had too many devices when I tried to connect my iPad, and my husband’s phone disconnected and would not reconnect after we left the room and came back. (To be fair, we haven’t asked for help with the wifi because we feel like we’ve already been giant pains in the butt with the room switch). Other than the wifi frustration I am very pleased. It is bright, comfortable, and right across the street from the beach. I am looking forward to falling asleep to the sound of the surf.

Having stayed six times at this hotel dating back to 2015 we decided to stay again as we wished to be near Sardinero. We have not experienced any of the issues identified by previous reviewers in any of these visits, in fact quite the opposite, the staff were welcoming and the rooms were in decent shape and always large. The price was high but for the luxury of a senior suite I was prepared to pay over the odds. On arrival we were told that no senior suites were available and we had been upgraded to the Imperial Suite. Sounds good, but here the good news ended Issue 1 the whirlpool bath didn’t work. Reported to reception and was quickly attended by the maintenance man who after breaking the tile to access the motor reset fixed the problem! Issue solved - nope. It lasted 20 minutes and then tripped all the electric. On reporting to reception the switch was reset but no whirlpool bath. Ok, we’re not here for the bath and having been offered a move the next day at 12 noon we decided to stick with the room as otherwise it appeared ok. Issue 2, the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. It wasn’t so warm anyway so we tolerated this. Issue 3, at around 5 am it became clear there was multiple pigeons roosting in the roof space above the bed therefore couldn’t sleep until they stopped making noise. Should have moved but we are quite tolerant. Issue 4, around noon time the noise from the AC was so load we had to trip the electric breaker to stop it. Again we should have moved. Issue 5, on night 2 we were again awake for a significant period because of the lift continually moving even in the middle of the night. Issue 6, on night 3 again the lift was not moving up and down almost constantly. This seems to be the overnight cleaner moving items to the storeroom, and guess where this is, next to our room 601. I politely asked receptionist to ask the cleaner to stop and she said he was going home now so it would be ok. She couldn’t move us as there were no other rooms available. On approaching the hotel director the next morning she was aware of all the issues even knowing that the lift was noisy and kept people from sleeping. I was offered a free breakfast which I refused purely because there is no soap in the toilets and this is being used by waiters and chefs to prepare and serve food. After much argument I was told they would refund me the last night stay, still not received it though. All bored by now no doubt. This hotel had deteriorated badly in the 7 years we have visited. There are so many easy fixes to make it better but nobody seems to care. Lights don’t work - replace bulbs AC noisy - stop it vibrating Bath doesn’t work - either replace the motor or borrow from another room given the Imperial suite is the best room in the house Lift - get an engineer Noise - stop the cleaner working all night making noise No soap - buy soap The list is endless, we won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else does either. Una excelente ubicación para contemplar las vistas al mar y al precioso pueblo desde el bar-restaurante, que es donde se sirven las comidas. La habitación la elegimos también con vistas, para no perder ninguna oportunidad durante nuestra estancia para contemplar las fabulosas vistas. Para no incrementar el precio, en la primera reserva no incluimos el desayuno, pero al ver la ubicación, nos decidimos a añadirlo y fue un acierto total. El personal del hotel muy atento y especialmente en el desayuno bufet, pendiente de que no faltara ni un detalle. Una cama confortable y un buen descanso, con la satisfacción de que nuestra estancia nos permitió huir de la ola de calor. En San Vicente la temperatura fue perfecta.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if visiting Santander. Staff were exceptional especially Reception staff. Our room was perfect, the bar and restaurant was just lovely and the pool was stunning. Location across the road from the beach and beautiful setting.

The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The room was very good, for my taste the bed and couch somewhat soft but no stick. Maybe I would point out that there was a little cleaning behind the mini-fridge and the bathroom pads, but generally everything great. 👌🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely fantastic hotel. From the moment we checked in every member of staff were really friendly. The rooms were cleaned and beds made when we returned from our day's out. While we were there there was work going on in the ****** next door but we were never disturbed by any sound. Would definitely recommend staying here

Paredes: De Pradour, you can hear everything. Breakfast: Fair but great, all kinds. When the group gathers together and there is no place to sit, you must leave. This is the hotel's punctual time, but at that moment, he is not ready to take care of so many people. Room service: Until 10:30 pm. That girl told us not to worry. If you are on vacation, looking at the city, and a little late, you won't have dinner. Location: Walk away from the center of the quotation mark. Room: They have prepared us for my partner and my two single beds. We went to the reception and they brought us the issue of changing our marriage, although it was possible. A spacious and beautiful room. With Guardiola, you have to stand on tiptoe to see the scenery. Gym: Completed. Restaurant: Ordinary and expensive food.

We were worried before we arrived at the Posada after reading all the comments (powder, moho, dirt). We stayed in family, two children and one old person and I was never in agreement with the comments I had read: everything is perfect, the house is very beautiful, the breakfast is pleasant and those working at the Posada are very friendly. They deserve the 3 stars and we will be back without doubt.
