GGuest UserFound this gem of a place by accident. With many hotels increasing rates during the festive season I managed to book a room here for a price I thought was way below the average for a 3 room unit.
Of course my expectations were not much BUT when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised - what I say a “bang for your buck” - it was near one of the busiest shopping complexes and close to highways which was a breeze until u hit town (obviously). My room even had a sea view.
It’s tucked away outside the busy streets and to me it gave me the extra quietness and calm I needed after a long drive. I hit the pool and tried the gym - not a big gym but “it’s all there”.
This is what I noticed : bus station and airport was in my opinion nearby (no more than a 20min grab ride)
In short you can’t fault this property for the price you’re paying. I will be back! Tq for making the stay memorable.
GGuest UserKim Haus is a quant lodging laced with a past life character in the goldsmith business when it was thriving in an earlier era. Unsurprisingly to some, Kim is not a name but has the pronunciation of gold in the Cantonese dialect. On abundant display within the building are interesting smithing tools and contraptions at different areas. The lodging not only offers comfortable clean and affordable stay but also near the conveniences of various traditional and westernised eateries, cafes, laundry, dessert aficionados. Suitable for those who wants to choose a casual lodging to explore the city. The service is responsive and super friendly.
JJennyG278883This beachfront gem offers breathtaking sea views right from your window. Just a few minutes' walk away is a charming little beach that's an absolute must-see. Falling asleep to the sound of waves all night long was incredibly therapeutic – 10/10 for healing! I highly recommend it 🌊. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, the bedding was soft, and the facilities were complete. The host was warm and thoughtful, providing us with plenty of local tips. The overall ambiance of the place was fantastic, perfect for stunning photos. It's quiet and peaceful, making it the ideal choice for a relaxing vacation. You can book with confidence – you won't be disappointed! A taxi to Cenang Beach only costs a few dollars, but walking might be challenging due to the winding mountain roads and fast-moving traffic. If you're taking a taxi to Cenang, I suggest getting dropped off at the FamilyMart supermarket where you can stock up on essentials. Just 20 meters straight ahead from there is another beach. About 500 meters from the property, you'll find beachfront restaurants with lively evening performances and delicious food – not to be missed!
GGuest UserThe host speaks Chinese, and check-in is self-service. The environment is pretty good, just like the photos. The shower has hot water and excellent water pressure, making it great value for money. They don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, so remember to buy them at a convenience store.
