With a stay at HOSHINOYA Tokyo, you'll be centrally located in Tokyo, within a 5-minute drive of Tokyo Imperial Palace and Tokyo Dome. This luxury ryokan is 1.7 mi (2.8 km) from Ueno Park and 2.5 mi (4 km) from Tokyo Tower. Enjoy recreation amenities such as hot springs or take in the view from a garden. Additional features at this ryokan include complimentary wireless internet access and gift shops/newsstands. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or stay in and take advantage of the ryokan's room service (during limited hours). Full breakfasts are available daily from 7 AM to 11 AM for a fee. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Make yourself at home in one of the 84 guestrooms featuring refrigerators and minibars. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and flat-screen televisions are provided for your entertainment. Private bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers feature deep soaking bathtubs and rainfall showerheads. Conveniences include phones, as well as safes and coffee/tea makers.

"Hoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores. The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible. However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences – from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business."

LLeilaleilaIt can be a bit noisy being next to the station. The room itself is huge and very new! A downside is that the restaurant is often closed; out of three restaurants, I didn't get to try one. The view is nice though! The only real downsides are probably the construction site and the train station nearby. I'd likely come back because the rooms are genuinely much larger than other places at the same price point, and personally, I don't think the noise was that bad. Room service options are a bit limited.

MM567324****Second choice for Four Seasons Otemachi Currently my top choice in Tokyo Service is meticulous yet respectful. Advantages: Quiet, high floor, unparalleled views This time: Upgraded to a deluxe suite (directly facing the Imperial Palace) on-site. It's on the top floor, larger, and offers better views day and night; the bathroom is separate and larger, and the bathtub is by the window with a night view. Room service: 24-hour. Breakfast delivery is the same price as dining in, but I still prefer the delivery service; the fruit portions are generous. Bar: VITRU, one of Asia's top 50 bars, is located on the lobby level. Walk-ins should be easy for guests. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the decor is very French (due to a collaboration/branding with a Parisian bar, or perhaps its inspiration). Location: Located above Chiyoda Otemachi, owned by Mitsui. It's a bit far from the subway platform, but getting to Tokyo Station by taxi is convenient, and getting to Ginza by taxi takes less than ten minutes, which is acceptable. Otemachi Station has excellent transportation connections, making it more suitable for me than Azabu. Facilities: Although it's been open for a few years, it still looks very new.

のんさまさまThis was my second stay at Executive House Zen. Zen may have been what got me hooked on club lounges. I've been to many club lounges in Tokyo, but this one is hands-down the best. The club lounge is relaxing, the views are amazing, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. After arriving and checking in, I was shown to the lounge and treated to candy tea. I was about an hour early, but I was shown to my room. The room was clean, and the amenities, including Ferragamo shampoo and body soap, had a gorgeous scent. The hair dryer was a Dyson. I loved the body pillow on the bed, lol. There were six food presentations in total. I drank alcohol the whole time. There was an unlimited selection of champagne, beer, various cocktails, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. The first afternoon tea was an all-you-can-eat affair, featuring Satsuki's super melon shortcake, strawberry shortcake, Pierre Hermé croissants, cookies, macarons, various sweets, soup, and more. It was absolutely amazing. As night fell, we were treated to a panoramic view of Tokyo and the food selection changed to fresh vegetable sticks, pinchos, prosciutto, cheese, and smoked salmon, all perfect for pairing with alcohol. For a nightcap, we had Pierre Hermé chocolate and potato chips. With our stomachs full, we headed to Satsuki on the lobby floor for the new, best breakfast buffet. This buffet offered a wide selection of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, including freshly made rice balls, salmon roe, omelets made right in front of us, Pierre Hermé bread, fresh salads, and fruit!! Satsuki was a little noisy, but with our stomachs full, we headed to the spacious lounge for a drink, but we couldn't help but eat Pierre Hermé croissants and other treats. After that, we were able to use the lounge until check-out, so we were able to come and go as we pleased while relaxing in our room. Our stomachs were full and our hearts were satisfied; it was the best two-day, one-night stay ever!! I highly recommend it.

TTheGlobalResidentThe hallmark of a truly great hotel is not the absence of issues, but the excellence with which they are resolved. After mentioning that the mattress was too soft, the management’s response was nothing short of extraordinary. They moved mountains to ensure my comfort, demonstrating a level of dedication and proactive service that defines world-class hospitality. This is exactly the caliber of care I expect from a property of this standing. Truly impressive.

UUtkarsh05This was my first time staying at The Peninsula Tokyo, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we began corresponding with the hotel before arrival, the team made it clear that this was going to be a special stay. I had reached out in advance as this was an important trip for our family, and the team – especially Ms. Kim – went above and beyond to help organise everything smoothly. Every detail was handled with care, and it really set the tone for our visit. Throughout our stay, every interaction made us feel genuinely welcome. The lobby team, the staff at Peter, and housekeeping were all consistently warm, professional, and attentive. Small gestures, friendly smiles, and a real willingness to help turned a simple hotel stay into a collection of memories we will cherish for a long time. This trip has made The Peninsula Tokyo our new fav stay in the city. There is a wonderful sense of warmth and hospitality here, and you feel that everyone is truly invested in making your stay as special as possible. We are already looking forward to returning on our next visit to Tokyo.

GGuest UserI called many times to confirm the room before check-in, and I still couldn't connect all the rooms on the day of check-in. Let the guests wait at the front desk for nearly 30 minutes. Before arriving at the hotel, I called the front desk. I had a lot of luggage, and I hoped to welcome them. When I got off at the hotel gate, I waited for 10 minutes and no one greeted me. I went to the lobby and pushed the trolley with the waitress at the front desk to pick up my luggage. The white uniforms passing by The older Japanese bellman turned a blind eye and had a bad attitude. Without confirming the luggage, he put all the staff's luggage in the boss's room without authorization. No apology after taking out the luggage. The room faces the train track, and you will hear the sound of the train, which will affect your rest. An impressive experience.

GGuest UserThis hotel is conveniently located right next to Tokyo Station and a luxury shopping mall, making it super easy to get around and shop. The hotel entrance and lobby are a bit small, so you really have to look for it. If your room faces the central station, you might get some noise, even on higher floors. The staff are very welcoming, and there are even some who speak Chinese, providing professional and friendly service. Both the Italian and Japanese restaurants are excellent, though you'll need reservations. The turndown service also comes with unique little snacks, which is a nice touch. This is my second time staying here, and I still think it's well worth it.

LLazgolfWe booked Park Hyatt very last minute due to issue with our original hotel that we booked in Tokyo. We travelled with a 3 & 4 years old and the hotel was amazing. The playground across the hotel is a big plus. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome and the process was very seamlessly. We left the first hotel fairly early and knew we couldn't get into the room but our plan was to go through Shinjuku and knew we wouldn't be back until later that day. The hotel lobby is on the 41st floor, you can see the entire city view and at night the sight is amazing. The hotel location is about a 15min walk to Shinjuku station which is not bad and there is a shuttle that runs every 30min as well. Concierge was very helpful with everything during our stay. Breakfast service was professional and efficient. The staff were very friendly with kids and not snobbish at all. The hotel is an iconic place, most of the time we took a taxi or delivery they know the hotel by name. I highly recommend anyone that would like to pamper themselves in Tokyo. The hotel is a bit dated by the upkeep of the hotel is very good. Only thing that was a bit annoying was the light switches since it's not modern you can't control some lights individually.
