The hotel is located on the seafront, just a few meters from the Terrazza Mascagni. The view is panoramic, the rooms are very clean and meticulously maintained. The service is attentive, and the staff is smiling and helpful. We dined at the terrace restaurant, which I highly recommend for a romantic dinner. The only drawback is that the paid services are a bit pricey (pool €45 and wellness program €70 per person).

Hotel Massimo was a great pleasant surprise both in terms of customer service and hotel quality. First I made a mistake of the reservation date and the hotel staff immediately helped to update the booking without additional charge. Second, when I request for a room change to a quieter area of the hotel, I was attended to promptly with a small charge of 10 euros to upgrade the room. Their breakfast was exceptionally tasty and staff was courteous and kind. One of the best hotel service I received in Italy! Highly recommended!!.

This is my second stay at this hotel. It offers an affordable price and ample parking, making it very convenient for independent travelers. While its exterior might not immediately impress, the hotel itself is comfortable and clean. A short path from the hotel's restaurant leads directly to the beach, allowing you to soak in the natural ambiance. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient for shopping.

We stayed at this place for the 2nd time (first time was right before the pandemic) and I should say that the hotel successfully keeps up to its standards.
Rooms are clean and spacious, with almost everything you may need (except the iron).
The SPA area is fine, but better go there around noon before the new wave of the guests arrives.
Breakfasts are superb with a wide choice of hot dishes, pastry and drinks. That is really a great choice for Italy I'd say (sorry, Italy)))
The hotel territory is well kept. The sandy beach is right across the road.
The only minor thing which was a bit disturbing was the lack of toiletries. Nail kits, sewing kits and other things used to be available without any requests. Now you get the very basics and have to call if you need some extra. That's absolutely fine but.. feels like ”let's cut the cost” sign :)
But anyway, I loved the stay and will def be back some time.

Fantastic, where the guest is at the forefront, attention, SERVICE with main letters widely well cared fresh breakfast All pretty clean staff are top. Pool beautiful in a small garden . All beautiful dressed with art . The hotel is not so beautiful from outside as it is from inside. A absolute adviser Name these critical travelers. Take a room with balcony, otherwise you have only a stick. That was a little overcome. We had our dog with us, and therefore we didn't have the hong in the beautiful restaurants during lunch or dinner, and this was not mentioned in the bookings, so we cannot evaluate the food.
Massa itself is not much on, visit Luca Pistoia Seinna really worth the effort.

Nothing to say excellent hotel
...ma unfortunately they were not consistent for the new-year-old evening in the volant there was written 85 euros for the hotel guest instead to us they made pay as an external guest ,they told us that the offer is for the guest but only if you retire I don't make any negative reviews but now I felt like it wasn't so much paying but little clarity, then with that price sincerely, the dinner was not worthy of anything.

AAThe hotel is located in a very small town. The hotel itself is good. I got a new room, there was no noise. Very clean, cleaned every day. Of the shortcomings I can note: no shampoo, a poorly working refrigerator and no glasses in the room.
I asked for glasses at the reception, they sent me to the bar, where they gave me plastic glasses.... I took glass ones myself, since I do not drink from plastic.
The hotel and Tirrenia itself are an ideal place to distance yourself from the world. Life in the city freezes at 8-9 o'clock. There is nowhere to go.
A good supermarket and several restaurants are a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The food in none of them was particularly impressive.
The sea is gorgeous. Very clean. The beach is also kept clean.
Pisa is a half-hour bus ride from the hotel. There is nothing to do there, except for visiting the tower, but it is not long - 30 minutes maximum.

The location and view was very beautiful! The room is spacious and the service was lovely from the front desk! Tip top 4 star hotel! We definitely love to be back!
Restaurant service is efficient and good but not very welcoming. Good food and view from the restaurant terrace!
If I must comment, we felt we were not welcomed once we check out. As we should be entitled to use the pool area after check out until lunch time as we were waiting for time to pass until the flight- as most hotels would graciously allow their guests to. But the manager of the front desk , she decided to charge us 50 euro to use the “spa” who just left their luggage at the office after 30 mins of Check out. It’s just not very gracious and hospitable of them. Remind you it is 380 euro per night at a 4 star middle of no where hotel!

GGuest UserEXCELLENT. I cannot praise this place enough. My wife and I were traveling Central Europe for 2-1/2 weeks then stopped here for 3 days. The property and room were fantastic. It was super nice to cook our own food for a bit. We even used their grill with provided wood to cook some steaks…delicious. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice. In addition we had just a few minutes drive to the beach where we watched the sunset one evening…plus there was only 6 other people on the beech (the first week of May). This place, town and hotel, is quite the gem…a real must stay for a nice relaxing time.

TTSAI YU LINGWe booked the hotel by the recommendation of one good Italian friend that stayed in forte di Marmi for holidays in every Aug so we really like the hotel e especially we can get the good deal since it’s not Aug and the staffs are super friendly and the pool and Jakusi are the highlight of this amazing hotel so my customer even didn’t want to check out today stayed the whole morning before leaving the hotel and told me I should arrange him to stay there 3/4 days before the fair to relax!!

EeM.MIf you're looking for a quiet place, with a spectacular view - it's for you. Everything was perfect..super friendly and helpful staff, direct access to the sea. Very cosy place, full of history. Delicious breakfast and coffee made by the barista. The place also has a big parking space to keep your car in a secure place close to the hotel. Highly recommended. We'll be back for sure :)
