Check in facility was smooth, friendly front desk and manager helpful. we are family of 5 ( 2 rooms) and it was accomodating and great stay for 4 days 3 nights as my parents were staying nearby, and we are back to celebrate CNY. The beach pool maybe can have a bit improvement as its a bit dirty ( a bit dissapointment for my kids) but hotel rooms were very clean and daily cleaned up well. Kudos to the housekeeping team for keeping my housekey i realised i lost it after 3 days checking out and my parents went back to the lobby and got it back. Thankful to them. Its a great place to stay. rooms were quiet no odour and free mineral bottle water and coffee tea. clean towels, good bed.
Hotel Amenities: There's a gym in the middle, a Western restaurant on the first floor (for breakfast and buffet), a Chinese restaurant on the second floor, and a pool (none of them are very big). The pool closes at 7 PM, even before the sun sets. You can go to the Western restaurant area to continue waiting for the sunset.
Room Amenities: The room size is fine, with a balcony facing the sea. We stayed in 012 which had an unobstructed view, good privacy, and a decent view. The room has a sofa bed. Our twin room could be combined to make a 2-meter bed, which is larger than a standard 1.8-meter king bed (good for families with children).
Some rooms originally had a wooden second floor. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider staying upstairs, but getting luggage up the stairs would be difficult.
I saw some people mention there was no bottled water in the room. Actually, there's a drinking water tap next to the sink faucet. We're not used to drinking tap water, so we brought our own portable kettle, which solved the drinking water issue.
Facility Complaints: The bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell that wouldn't dissipate and even backed up โ it was really stinky. Also, the shower water drained very slowly, causing the entire bathroom to flood. We woke up one morning to a power outage in the room, which was quite unusual, but they sent someone to fix it by the time we were having breakfast.
Service: Mainly the shuttle service. On the first afternoon at the restaurant, there were plenty of shuttles, coming every few minutes. But on the second day, during check-out, we waited for 20 minutes. Calling for a shuttle is difficult; it's best to have someone wait at the door and flag down any passing vehicle. You might have to walk back and forth a few times to get one. The resort does have multi-seater vehicles, but during check-out, only small cars were available โ the kind that gets full with just one family and their luggage. I find the hotel's arrangement hard to understand. We weren't far from the lobby, but it started raining, and there were no umbrellas in the room, otherwise I would have just walked.
Environment: The seawater really wasn't pretty; it was yellowish-green, regardless of the weather. We wanted to take our child to the beach, but they refused to go. The second day, it rained all day, so there were no activities or entertainment. We just stared at the sea and played cards on the balcony (the balcony and table had gaps, and a card accidentally fell into the sea!๐ญ).
Dining: There are no other options nearby, and Grab doesn't offer food delivery. During Chinese New Year, the Chinese restaurant only had special CNY set menus, which were very large portions, like a five-person 'poon choi' (basin dish) for an eight-person table โ way too much food. We opted for the buffet instead. It was 88 for adults and 40 for children. The kids ended up only eating rice with tofu and stewed meat, bread, and corn soup. Everything else was spicy, even the meat sauce pasta... and this was on Chinese New Year's Eve.
Taste is subjective, but honestly, the local curries and laksa were delicious, though Chinese palates might not appreciate them as much.
Apart from its location over the water, being a stilt hotel, overall, it's about a 3.5-star hotel by Chinese standards.
I originally chose this hotel thinking it would be a shame to visit Malaysia and only do a city walk in Kuala Lumpur without seeing the sea. I wanted to find somewhere close, but it wasn't actually close at all โ a 1.5-hour taxi ride, costing 170 on Grab. It's really not worth it... let go of that obsession. Unless you don't mind bad weather, just want a quiet place to zone out, and have no particular demands for food.

The room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and rooms were very comfortable.โ โThe sleep quality was excellent, and the mattresses felt like sleeping at home

blower and noisy
-the water heater not functioning
- tv not functioning
- sofa rosak
Pro
- near the beach
- toilet clean
hope the management can do the improvement for the better stay.
It is located in Sepang, about 50 minutes from Kuala Lumpur Airport.
It is almost the same as the atmosphere in the photo,
but if you want a different resort-like atmosphere, I do not recommend it.
The room facilities are also of poor quality and it feels like a pension.
It might be because we came in late and checked out early.
There was no hot water in the shower room in one room.
It was more disappointing than the actual place.
The swimming pool location is good.
The food at the restaurant at the entrance of the resort was good~~
Providing a terrace, HOMESTAY IBUNDA Sabak Bernam provides accommodations in Sabak Bernam.
The air-conditioned vacation home consists of 4 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a hair dryer, and a seating area. Free private parking is available at the vacation home. The property has an outdoor dining area.
Sultan Azlan Shah Airport is 70 miles away.
I would like to suggest to hotel cleaning team, please ensure the cleanliness is at tip top condition. You all may started to spray air freshener to keep the environment refreshing.
There was no buffet served but only ALA carte during our stay. It's ok and understandable for very small nos.of hotel guests but sadly the food portion is to large for me and friend. We all ladies not eating that much. So ended up a big waste for us. Please f&b team look into this matter and try giving your full heart in preparing the food. Although ALA carte but it was presented low standard (hotel seri malaysia always our favourite and never disappoint us since back to 90's but all are different now๐ค) at least they are skill of making the food more pleasant ๐
Nice experience in 7 floor suite. Nice view and panorama. Feeling good in pool. But suite no towel floor to wipe foot. Air-conditioning very well. Some chanel tv not clear. At all experience not bad. Hope can come again.
