It’s great to stay in this hotel every time.

This is a clean hotel with a very friendly staff! Everyone we have had contact with has been very pleasant; from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the maintenance man we met in the elevator. We asked for and received a waterfront facing room and it's beautiful. It's pretty quiet for the most part. The one thing I wish was that there were screens on the sliding glass doors facing outside. It would be nice to have the doors open without getting bugs in. My final comment is from my husband. He said, ”If you do a Trip Advisor review, mention I love the big-man towels in the bathroom.” HAHA. I see what's important to him! I really nice place I hope we can stay at again, sometime.
Breakers Resort - Lakeside

Great location! The beach, the staff, and amenities were good. The breakfast included was great, it includes a variety of things and served at the lakeside restaurant located on property. You could also dine at night on certain days but the dinner was not as up to par. I think keeping menus short and simple is great, but I thought the menu was very limited. I wished it featured more of the local foods.
Holiday Inn Grand Haven-Spring Lake

Our check-in experience was really poor. Check-in agent missed all the basic info you would expect. Directions to room, what time is breakfast, dinner etc. in the restaurant. pool opening times. I figured all that info would be in the room but nope! So either this info needs to be provided at check-in verbally or have an info sheet in the room. Also please make it clear to guests that you have to request your room to be serviced, don’t leave us guessing! Other than that we really enjoyed our stay! The room was nice, beds were very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was great and all the hotel staff were very friendly! Special shout out to Amari in Burger Theory, she was awesome. The outdoor and indoor pools are great and it’s a 5 min drive to downtown Grand Haven and the beach.
Delta Hotels Muskegon Convention Center

This was our second stay in the Muskegon area, and I would never stay here again. When you stay at a Motel 6 you at least know what to expect but at this hotel you get the quality of a roadside motel at the price of a Marriott. At the time of writing, this is the most expensive hotel in Muskegon and is not even close to worth it. The rooms are uncomfortable with the staff trying to hide cheap mattresses by putting foam pads on the top. The appliances in my room were broken and the sliding glass shower door was so unlevel I had to wedge a washcloth in the jamb to keep if from sliding completely open. The TV had a 3 second delay to even change the channel and the AC is so loud it’ll keep you awake all night. If you plan on using their business center, I’d say think again. It’s just an uncomfortable table in the middle of their lobby with wooden chairs I swear they grabbed from a middle school cafeteria. Their Wi-Fi isn’t password protected so do what you will with that info. Finally, they don’t offer a continental breakfast throughout the week, which just feels extraordinarily cheap. They have a paid restaurant in the lobby, but this is the first time I’ve been to a hotel that doesn’t at least offer a cereal bar. Heck, even Super 8’s give you a muffin and a beat up waffle station. In short, save your money and go somewhere else. For the price the Shoreline Inn is half a mile away and is a far nicer stay for less. I would never stay here again.

Acme
This was a last minute trip and the accommodation was much more than i expected. This is a gem of a property right up the road from the downtown area. One of the best included breakfast I have ever had. The guy working the breakfast was amazing and so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place. The room was nice and clean too. One of the first hotels I have stayed at in a long time that I did not find other people’s belongings that were left behind in the room so you know it was cleaned well. Yeah this was a place we will come back to in the future. Thank you! :-)
Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront

The Hamilton Inn is gorgeous. I. My first impressions? Amazing. Gorgeous. Hard to Find. These 3 words describe the looks and the attitude of the hotel. I'll be staying here for 11 days and nights. I've got an upgraded room on the lake. The upgraded room includes a free breakfast here. The breakfast s a variety of flavorful choices. The hotel decor is by far one of the nicest I've ever seen. Playful and stylish, tasteful yet trendy. It features cool greens and reds, with wooden trim. Amenities? I have been using the free internet everyday, typing out these little notes. The gym is actually a gym with free weights. Most hotel gyms consist of only a stairmaster and treadmill with maybe a little universal. The Hamilton has a universal machine, treadmills and free weights. It also has a sound system and TV.

Sugar Beach Resort Hotel

Each year my sister's and I take our mom away for a few days...(she is 92). This year we didn't want to go too far away, and we chose The Sugar Beach. It was great having a main floor room that had a beautiful view of the bay. The room was clean, beds comfy, and staff helpful. The only drawback we had, was the breakfast. I am sure the bag breakfast at your door in the morning is the result of covid, but was not what we expected when the hotel listed breakfast. We had a problem with the lock on our door and within 10 minutes we had Frank at our room fixing the problem He was friendly, efficient and made us feel very welcone. After we had checked out, my sister received a text on her phone stating that the housekeeper had found a wallet in our room. Sure enough w e had left one. We were still in the area, so a quick return was no problem. I am so very thankful for the honesty of the housekeeper, the front desk person willing to contact us, and the very happy ending to a four night stay at The Sugar Beach. We will encourage others to stay here, and we hope to return again next year too. Thank you for a great stay.
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Muskegon, MI

We stayed here one night and we were pleased with our room. It was pretty quiet and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool during the day. It was a good temperature. The bedding looked clean and updated as well. The check in person was friendly. There not a lot offered at breakfast but I had a cinnamon roll with coffee. The only strange thing was an empty granola bar wrapper left on the desk when we checked in plus an opened soap bar with wrapper left on bathroom counter and someone used a hand towel and threw it on counter. Pretty minor but why? It’s so quick and easy to throw your trash away. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay here.
