"Unexpectedly good! The hotel is very close to the station. After arriving from Brussels South Station, it's about a five-minute walk to the hotel. The environment is super nice, and there's free bottled water downstairs. The breakfast was amazing, very Western-style. I stayed for three days and had a fantastic experience. It's about a kilometer from the city center and the Bell Tower, a pleasant walk away. The city has shopping areas. There's an ice cream shop downstairs at the hotel that's always busy, and diagonally opposite there's a Chinese supermarket, with Chinese restaurants and noodle shops nearby. It's really great, definitely my top choice for Ghent! The price is reasonable too. The room cards are all pink, super cute and thoughtful. There's a very humorous and attentive man at the front desk. He told me that after a certain time at night, only the back door would be open and the front desk would close. My flight was very early, and he also told me how to check out. His English was excellent!"

"I stayed in Oudenaarde for a few days while visiting clients. It's a very quiet and peaceful little city, and Leopold is considered a mid-to-high-end hotel in the area. It's not very big, but it made for a very warm and comfortable stay. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Since I was staying for several days, the hotel suggested that I only have the towels cleaned and changed, and if I didn't want the sheets changed, they would give me a €5 voucher, which could be redeemed for drinks at the bar downstairs. The lady in charge of breakfast was always busy but very accommodating. When I asked if they had warm milk, she heated it up for me without hesitation. During my stay, different cycling teams came by every day for activities. Even though the men were older, they were all in great shape and full of energy. There's a small river outside the hotel, and it was nice to jog along the riverbank in the morning, enjoying the warm sunshine and fresh air – a truly peaceful experience."

The lobby has a refined atmosphere, and the staff were warm and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room had great natural light, the bedding was comfortable and clean, and the toiletries were high-quality."
