"There's no elevator, so carrying luggage up to your room can be a bit of a struggle. Also, the location on the map was wrong; it showed the restaurant, but the actual room was in a small alley, which took some searching to find. The staff were all very friendly, but with the language barrier, many things were unclear, like suddenly being asked to pay an 8 Euro tourist tax. The place was generally clean, but there was a bit of dust near the window and the floor wasn't spotless. However, I have to say the bed was really comfortable, and the location was very close to all the main tourist attractions in Belgium."

"It was a very pleasant and cozy hotel. The check-in is at the bar around the corner. The shared bathroom is used by 3 rooms on the floor which is not too bad. The location is great as well - close to the train station and about 1 km from the city centre and the area around the hotel is very nice and clean as well. Would definitely stay here again"

Great
GGuest UserWhen we arrived to the property, the hotel could not find our reservation. Gina at the reception was fantastic and she upgraded us to a suite with canal view! š
This room raised our expectations and experience of Bruges!
MMelon ChiuThis guesthouse is perfect for a short overnight stay in Bruges! It's a 15-minute walk from the historic city center, offering just the right balance to experience the quiet atmosphere of a local residential area. The accommodation is comfortable, allowing you to recharge before easily exploring this beautiful town, whether on foot or by public transport. It offers excellent value for money and serves as a high-quality stopover. Highly recommended for travelers planning to wander through Bruges.
GGuest UserGirard at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with one of the best views of the canal we could have hoped for! Ā Location was perfect. Ā Highly recommended! Ā Breakfast was very good and worth getting. Hard to find breakfast before 11 anywhere else.
GGuest UserLocation at 10 minutes walk from the city. You can park in a garage at about 4 minutes walk. The staff is very friendly. When arrived there was a box of chocolate bottles and when departure we got cookies. The room was cleaner; there were still hair in the bathroom. Breakfast was good but not special.
GGuest UserMy bunkbed didnāt have a curtain so I asked to change at reception. Unfortunately, I was changed to a bunkbed next to the door which was unnecessarily loud. On my last night there there was also a constant beeping that everyone complained about.
Itās a clean hostel with a pub, which was pretty cool. My room was in a building separate to the pub. The kitchen was great with a cute outside area to eat.
Itās a bit of a walk to the train station but there are buses.
HHujiaomanchanThe hotel's location is excellent, with a reasonably priced and spacious parking lot nearby. It's also very close to the train station, with a connected walkway and elevator directly to the hotel. The walk to Bruges city center and attractions is a convenient 15 minutes. Both the hotel and the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the shower has good water pressure.
NNeilJHotel Portinari in Bruges is a gem! The modern design is both stylish and inviting, creating a lovely atmosphere. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, making it a perfect retreat. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the cityās main attractions. The friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bruges!
NNadia THEverything was perfect excepted the mattress is too soft and it makes your back pain.
For Breakfast : Suggestion on all vegan drink, please make sure that the open date is not too long that suggested on the box otherwise the taste gonna gone off like I experienced Chocolate Soya ( it tasted sour already)
Also, it would be nice if you have the signs tell what each item is due to not everyone knows and some they donāt eat pork, beef or chicken.
GGuest UserWonderful trip to Bruges! The hotel is located in a quiet area, just 10 minutes from the city center. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the cleanliness and comfort were excellent. The breakfast was well-stocked and varied. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent and it is very convenient to go to various attractions. If you drive yourself, it is a bit difficult to get in and out of the hotel. The car is clearly parked next door, but it took half an hour to get to the hotel entrance (one-way street + road closure)
