GGuest UserMy recent business trip to Xining led me to this hotel, and I must say the overall experience was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and efficient; check-in was quick, and they even helped carry my luggage to the room. The room's facilities were new and complete, with a fresh and elegant ambiance. The decor was simple yet cozy. Complimentary disposable toiletries, bottled water, and tea were provided. The hotel maintained strict hygiene standards; the bedding was changed after each guest, and the entire room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in even the trickiest corners. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining.

GGuest UserThis is my third day at the hotel, and Mr. Li at the front desk reserved the same room with a bathtub for me. It's clean, bright, and comfortable, so I've been sleeping very well every night. Mr. Li even helped me take a passport photo to apply for the UOM app. Plus, the front desk assisted me with receiving a package. Overall, the service has been thoughtful and excellent.

AAnonymous UserStaying at the Boway Hotel was an absolutely fantastic experience! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the bus stop, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation and no unpleasant odors. The facilities were well-maintained, and both the air conditioning and WiFi worked perfectly. The staff were warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out efficiently, and even proactively offered local sightseeing tips. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserYou can tell this hotel has been around for a while, probably near the train station. The facilities are a bit dated, but it's very clean, and the service is great. It's right next to the train station square, though taxis can't drop you directly at the entrance. It's perfect for an overnight stay if you have an early train to catch.

AAnonymous UserThis is an old hotel that has been so popular that the owners got lazy and forgot that the image of luxury must be backed up by actual service quality.
On the outside and in the lobby, it's luxurious. In the actual rooms the impression is very underwhelming: old furniture, tiny TV and no electronic features, especially considering that the room is large and the price is high.
The quality of room maintenance is bad (see attached photos):
- bedsheet with holes and ripped edge;
- sofa with ripped covering;
- towel with ripped edge;
- dents on wooden wardrobe doors;
- dirty finger marks on the wall;
- desk lamp with a bent plug;
- clogged shower (water was drying out during the whole night);
- one of the lights wasn't working.
This is unacceptable for such a high price and luxurious marketing, especially considering high Chinese service standards and more Western-oriented marketing of this hotel (it would be a very bad and untrue representation of a ”chinese hotel”).
There were only three good things about our stay: great breakfasts (there was coffee!), nice location and nice view.
Overall, this could've been truly an amazing accommodation (location, food, luxurious lobby) if only the owners cared to renovate the rooms slightly, add more modern facilities and force the stuff to be more mindful of cleanliness and ripped bedsheets/towels/sofa. But seemingly the owners do not care, so I strongly do not recommend this hotel if you're looking for high quality service.

Downstairs, you'll find the Nanguan snack street, and it's just 100 meters to Nanguan Mosque, 400 meters to Dongguan Mosque, and 500 meters to Beiguan Mosque. The geographical location is absolutely perfect. It's only 2 km from the train station and a 30-minute drive to the airport. The floor attendant, Ma Ping, was incredibly welcoming. She gave us yogurt for each room and even helped me freeze the beef and lamb I bought from the night market. I highly recommend Hilton to anyone visiting Xining.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, a delightful mix of Chinese and Western dishes, featuring exquisite Chinese pastries and authentic Western options. The variety was extensive, and the taste was excellent. The bedding was comfortable. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe room was not only neat and clean but also incredibly spacious, giving it a very open and comfortable feel. It's just a ten-minute drive from Xining Caojiabao Airport, which is extremely convenient for those catching early flights or arriving late at night. The overall environment is quiet, the service is thoughtful, and it offers excellent value for money. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to or from the airport! Five-star rating!

FFaFaTigerPleasantly surprised! I had an early train to catch the next day, so I just picked a hotel near Xining Station, and it turned out to be brand new! The room was spacious, all the facilities were new, and it even had air conditioning. It was my first time seeing a transparent display on the central AC unit, and the bathroom slippers even came with disposable covers!

GGuest UserOn this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome.
The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats).
I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!
