GGuest UserThe best western carlton is a superb hotel to stay for one or two nights or more.the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom with super hot water is great.lie back and enjoy that well earned break away. Superb value for money and the staff are very welcoming on arrival. Good location and in a quiet area of Blackpool. Shops and north pier about 10 to 15 mins walk.

TTheBeacholaEditBathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and had no toilet roll or towels in. Tv didn’t work on the wifi or normal tv channels. There looks like there has been a leak and chunks of concrete were loose under the window-ledge.
The positives were the Sea view and tower view from the room and the power in the shower was great. The room did also have a fan, an Iron and board, safe and hair dryer.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was fine for £7 and you could park until midnight on the day of check-out.
The room in general was dated and in need of an uplift, but it was ok for a base for 1 night.

JjaymoNice little hotel. Breakfast was good. Very friendly staff. Only thing was our room and bathroom was very small but clean.

GGuest UserTeam service was excellent, great communications when needed. Room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. Only slight negative was the eating area size, got busy quickly but luckily we came to have breakfast earlyish.

GGuest UserThe hotel appears somewhat outdated. The bathroom is compact and had a noticeable black stain on the tiles and some area , and the bedroom is also relatively small. Despite these shortcomings, the meal was really enjoyable.

GGuest Useromg from the moment I walked in i was attended to nothing was to much trouble i had a sea view double room there was a act on downstairs very loud was worried about the house but never heard a thing the decor is a bit dated but the friendliness of the staff and yhe feel of the hotel made up for that I had a fantastic stay it does just what it says on the tin I will definitely be goung back

GGuest UserThe Norbrek Castle must have been lavish and upmarket in it's day but sadly looks sad and depressed now. However, we knew this when we booked and opted for it because of it's good points, the location is good with bus and tram stops outside, there is plenty of parking with an assured chance of finding a space if you take the car out and return, the room was as clean as it is possible to clean an old property with clean bedding and towels, the breakfast is basic but again satisfactory and the staff helpful and friendly. We did not, on this occasion use the pool or any of the entertainment facilities. All in all an ok choice for a couple of nights as somewhere simply to sleep

GGuest UserThis is a lovely (if a bit creaky in places,!) hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. I have stayed here before and loved the experience, especially the pool which was always warm and like having a large bath. Unfortunately, on this occasion it was cold. The chap at the front desk told me that were having some boiler problems which were in hand. Fair enough i thought, until i realised the water in the room was lukewarm at best, so having a bath or shower was not so nice. I was there for four nights and i only had hot water the morning of checking out. It was nice to have a long relaxing soak before a long train journey home though!

PPippa40Excellent breakfast and evening meal in the Palm court restaurant. Staff very pleasant. Evening entertainment every night. Great location with tram station right outside. Very good value for money for seaview superior room. Cheaper standard rooms need attention in regards to facilities and cleanliness but still good for price. Interesting historic hotel.
