⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Stay From Start to Finish I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can honestly say that the experience exceeded my expectations in every possible way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that immediately made me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff made sure I had everything I needed before even reaching my room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the high-quality linens and pillows that made for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was spotless, well-lit, and stocked with everything a traveler might need. Small touches—like complimentary toiletries, a well-placed reading light, and a perfectly functioning climate system—really made the difference.

The Angus Inn is ideally situated. It's directly opposite the Queensgate Mall and only a few minutes walk from the Lower Hutt Bowling Club where we were attending a function. The Inn has all the facilities that you need such as a laundry and a restaurant. The booking went like clockwork with no hassles. An enjoyable stay.

The location is great, less than a 15-minute walk from the train station. If you're coming from the airport, take the Airport Express. After getting off, walk a short distance, then turn into an alleyway by a bronze statue of a dog walker. Head up a few stairs, go through a sliding door on your right, and take the elevator up to the 7th floor for the lobby. A word of caution: definitely avoid trying to enter through the parking lot stairs; it's a very long and confusing detour. Rooms are compact but well-heated. Each room comes with a microwave, dishes, and an electric fan. A $50 deposit is required. Good value for money, definitely recommended!

We stayed at Ramada Wellington and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff throughout our visit. The room was comfortable, and housekeeping is done every three days, with towels available on request if needed earlier. There were a few hiccups—utensils could’ve been cleaner, and the aircon/heat pump wasn’t working when we checked in on a Sunday. It took a couple of days to get fixed, but the team did provide a fan and portable heater in the meantime. Overall, a decent spot for short stays with a central location and warm hospitality.

We arrived early at the hotel , the staff were very friendly and checked us in early which was great! It is perfect location for flights as the hotel is actually in the airport, lift straight to check in and departure lounge. There is a shuttle bus that goes from airport to Wellington station and stops at locations in between for museum etc. Stayed here a couple of times now and would definitely recommend.

Had a great visit to Wellington. Enjoyed the hotel and the service was excellent. As with most Hotels we have stayed at recently they are a bit dated. Room was very clean, room service was good and the bathroom was excellent and looked to have been renovated in recent years. All in all very happy with our stay.

A very satisfying stay experience, a very old hotel with a long history and traditional culture. I am very happy to experience life in this environment. There are no windows, no landscape design and a big bed.

It's a great experience. The value for money is there and the location is wonderful with next to zero noise at night. Staff is friendly and helpful and daily housekeeping is on point. It would be better to provide body lotion in the room, and TV produce some flashing light from the back after turning off can be slightly troublesome. I also try the food, they have daily deals and happy hours.

Walkable to railway station and Bluebridge ferry and close to town centre for shopping, eating and museum. Comfortable and quiet Good option for a convenient one night stay.

We had 1 night stay. Good facilities, like pool, Spa, Restaurant, however a few things need to improve to reach 4 star, like stated. Our room was clean and tidy but some lights up in the ceiling were out, basin in the bathroom was very cracked. We had dinner at the restaurant. I ordered pizza, where the dough was slightly undercooked, no crisp, sloppy. Filter coffee at breakfast, that was included had a colour of weak tea. But you were offered to pay extra for a coffee on top of $30, you already paid for a buffet breakfast. Previously stayed here before, but I think it needs a lot of improvements as it's gone down quite a bit.
