This is an excellent hotel for a peaceful getaway. The grounds are compact but very well-maintained, and there's private parking available. The rooms are spacious, offering panoramic sea views and all the necessary amenities. The food is top-notch: breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style, offering a diverse and delicious selection. There's a deep swimming pool and a jacuzzi too. The equipped beach has easy entry into the water, and a coral reef teeming with colorful fish starts right off the shore. There's also a professional diving center with instructors and equipment rental. The ”15+ only” policy ensures a quiet atmosphere free from children's hustle and bustle – perfect for couples.

The camp is located outside of the official Wadi Rum desert, but easy to reach from the main road. Tent: clean and spacious, had everything I needed. Hot shower was amazing. It was clean, as clean as things can be in a desert. I just had one mosquito in the tent, but might be more in other months - be prepared. Dinner: absolutely amazing. A lot of great dishes, live music, separate desert. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Breakfast: not as amazing as dinner, but still absolutely sufficient. Tour: Had a tour on the first day with another company - it was ok, but mostly covered the main spots - many other people there. On the second day booked a tour with the hotel directly - price was fair and the spots much better than the day before inside Wadi Rum. More spectacular and almost no people. Absolutely amazing. Service: organized transport to the visitor center to catch my bus to Amman and made a fair deal together with the tour. So actually no need to get into Wadi Rum village, you can get better spots directly from the camp. The pictures are all from the second tour organized by the camp.

This time I was mainly looked after by Zid, and all the staff, including him, were very kind. The location was great, there was plenty of delicious food, and I had a fulfilling trip. If you're coming to Wadi Rum, Jordan, I highly recommend this place!

Good value hotel in Jordan I have stayed in 5 hotels during 11 days of trip in Jordan. This is the best one !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All of the staffs are so friendly and nice. The restaurant staff is helpful and considerate . On the second day morning, she remembered my breakfast preference 😨, even the details. There’s an Italian restaurant right near the hotel. You can enjoy discount yet there were cakes, drinks and shisha. The room is so comfortable and new. I love the design. The night view is so lovely and magnificent. The amenity are good , it’s way better than Movenpick hotel. This hotel offers Dead Sea products for the guests. You can have free drinks from the fridge as well.

Everything was comfortable. The reception staff were very good, especially The Egyptian Mr. Fayz who works at the café, thank you very much to him. The hotel location is excellent, with the sea in front of you and markets and restaurants beside you, so you don't need to rent a car.

Absolutely loved the stay at Luxotel. From the moment you srrive till you leave, you’re taken care of by a pleasant group of staff. The rooms are clean and nice and words can’t express how unreal the place is. Secluded and you don’t get wifi in the room which keeps you away from the busy life. The food at the restaurant is amazing with a vast array of delectable foods. I thoroughly enjoy the stay. Also, please arrange the 4 hour tour for 70 JOD with the hotel. We had a sunset tour and it was by far the best thing I’ve done today. Loved the stay and the staff and so thankful for making the stay unreal.

The hotel is sweet and tidy and respected staff To be honest, the first thing that came in was the towels and the beds had hair. And the piano in the bathroom isn't added to it. We told them, they immediately cleaned everything.

It was a very good hotel during my stay in Jordan. Security was also very kind to me 々 Japanese. It was delicious about breakfast and it was close to the center so I could sightsee on foot. We were moving by car rental, but it was good to be able to park well.

GGuest UserVery polite and hospitable frint desk, especially Randa and Carmen. Service from all staff was very good. Only limitations are facilities for young kids. This hotel would suit mostly business travellers or couples. Also of note, is the newly refurbished roof-top bar .overlooking Gulf of Aqaba

GGuest UserWe had a very bad experience during check in. Despite explaining that we were very tired & hungry (as it's already almost 8 in the evening), and we just need to check in immediately & have dinner; the staff at the reception denied our confirmed & paid reservation at trip.com. The staff knew that we were very tired, and we even offered to guarantee reservation with our credit card (just so we get the room & can have dinner); but he insisted to keep us waiting until he can get the response from trip.com. After waiting for so long, he said that still no responses from trip.com and he just asked us to wait forever. I got really upset after a long argument with him; and i have to strongly argue with him to give us room & we paid with our credit card for a new reservation. WE NEED A ROOM! I showed him the amount I paid for the Seaview Room charged in USD. (I just realised the next day that he charged me the wrong amount instead of calculating it to USD amount with the correct convertion). So i was charged a wrong amount as I was too tired to check how much he charged me. After a long argument & waiting, he finally gave me the room key; and said sorry for the waiting. They said that they will upgrade the room as an apologies. Just when we were in the room, I found out that they DID NOT upgrade the room. That's exactly the room I booked at trip.com; just I had to pay again with my credit card with a much higher rate! I was to tired to argue with the staff, so I no longer care after calling them saying they didn't upgrade us! This staff didn't even try to change the room; after we said this is not an upgrade. We PAID for this room category at trip.com. Nobody apologies for these so many mistakes from the staffs or management. When we checked out, the manager asked me how was our stay? He was not even aware that WE HAD ISSUES that they denied our paid & confirmed booking! Trip.com finally settled this issue with the hotel, and the hotel returned our overpaid credit card charged. Trip.com apologies a few times, they made many efforts to call us a few times. But the hotel & the management acting as if nothing happened! Is this really how a 5 stars hotel service? Luxury what? They treated us like a homeless person begging for room! So UNACCEPTABLE! I have never experienced staying in a 5 stars hotel with such a BAD service like this! This is the worst in our history of travel! This place must keep their act together! Learn hospitality BETTER! Overall, we were very disappointed, & this place is far from Luxury Collection, it's a CHEAP collection!

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel close to the city center but there is not much to do there. The hotel is a haven of peace where you are cut off from the world, you dress as you wish which is not necessarily the case outside. The private beach is small, too bad we can't access the other hotels (walls delimit the hotels) Small swimming area due to all boats passing nearby. For a 5* the curtains with holes are average. Otherwise everything else is great. The breakfast buffet is huge and varied. The restaurants, on the other hand, are expensive and not great compared to the quality in the city center. They should have created a self-catering restaurant like in the morning.

AAnonymous UserShell Luxury Camp is an idyllic oasis set against an otherwise harsh desert landscape. Waking up to sunrise right outside the camp is genuinely breathtaking. The cosy “shell” accommodation delivers a true five-star experience, with exceptionally comfortable bed linens. Service was prompt, staff were attentive, warm, and professional. Hot water availability is limited to specific time frames and was only lukewarm during winter. To their credit, the front desk did remind guests, which helped manage expectations. Although the camp is relatively new, signs of wear and tear are already visible. Broken floor tiles and damaged toilet fixtures detract from the overall experience and should be addressed promptly to maintain the camp’s luxury positioning. The campsite would benefit from improved upkeep. Contrary to the hotel description, reaching the campsite directly by private car is not always possible, especially when roads are covered with sand. Hotel transfer is required. To avoid miscommunication, where language barriers may exist, it would be helpful for the camp to request guests’ vehicle plate number, colour, and model in advance, in addition to sharing live location. The room rate is undeniably steep, but overall, I had a memorable and luxurious desert stay at Shell Luxury Camp.

GGuest UserEverything was fine, but I faced a problem with the lack of availability. For example, I contacted the receptionist in the morning and asked for the room to be cleaned and for my shoes to be changed (the room was cleaned, but the shoes were not provided). In the evening, I asked for the shoes to be provided, and the receptionist replied, ”Immediately,” but my request was not met.

DDafetahiOur stay at Shaheen Camp was an incredible experience, even though we were transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp due to the low season. Since the camps are next to each other, and likely have the same owners, the transition was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure we felt at home, offering delicious tea, traditional dance, and live music, creating a truly immersive Bedouin experience. The variety of tours and activities they provided allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum in an unforgettable way. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a special occasion, adding to the magic of our stay. The only minor point for improvement was the bed setup, as it was made up of two single beds combined, but honestly, this was such a small detail compared to the overall incredible experience we had. If you’re looking for a welcoming, authentic, and memorable stay in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend Shaheen and Hasan Zawaideh Camp. I would gladly return for another unforgettable adventure!

GGuest UserWe stayed here as a family in a bubble tent during our trip to Wadi Rum, and overall we had a very positive experience. The owner, Eid, was genuinely attentive from the very beginning. Shortly after we made the reservation, he contacted us by email and stayed in touch throughout the process. He truly does his best at every stage to make sure his guests are comfortable and satisfied. We really appreciated that level of care and communication. The location of the camp is beautiful and peaceful. Even though the weather was partly cloudy, we were still able to see the stars at night, which was very special. Dinner was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes. The vegetable options were especially delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We also joined a jeep desert tour, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. Our guide (I unfortunately forgot his name) was friendly and made the experience both enjoyable and comfortable. Traveling with two children, we felt safe, relaxed, and well taken care of throughout our stay. I would happily recommend this camp to other families visiting Wadi Rum.
