GGuest UserVery polite and hospitable frint desk, especially Randa and Carmen. Service from all staff was very good. Only limitations are facilities for young kids. This hotel would suit mostly business travellers or couples. Also of note, is the newly refurbished roof-top bar .overlooking Gulf of Aqaba

GGuest UserWe had a very bad experience during check in. Despite explaining that we were very tired & hungry (as it's already almost 8 in the evening), and we just need to check in immediately & have dinner; the staff at the reception denied our confirmed & paid reservation at trip.com. The staff knew that we were very tired, and we even offered to guarantee reservation with our credit card (just so we get the room & can have dinner); but he insisted to keep us waiting until he can get the response from trip.com. After waiting for so long, he said that still no responses from trip.com and he just asked us to wait forever. I got really upset after a long argument with him; and i have to strongly argue with him to give us room & we paid with our credit card for a new reservation. WE NEED A ROOM! I showed him the amount I paid for the Seaview Room charged in USD. (I just realised the next day that he charged me the wrong amount instead of calculating it to USD amount with the correct convertion). So i was charged a wrong amount as I was too tired to check how much he charged me. After a long argument & waiting, he finally gave me the room key; and said sorry for the waiting. They said that they will upgrade the room as an apologies. Just when we were in the room, I found out that they DID NOT upgrade the room. That's exactly the room I booked at trip.com; just I had to pay again with my credit card with a much higher rate! I was to tired to argue with the staff, so I no longer care after calling them saying they didn't upgrade us! This staff didn't even try to change the room; after we said this is not an upgrade. We PAID for this room category at trip.com. Nobody apologies for these so many mistakes from the staffs or management. When we checked out, the manager asked me how was our stay? He was not even aware that WE HAD ISSUES that they denied our paid & confirmed booking! Trip.com finally settled this issue with the hotel, and the hotel returned our overpaid credit card charged. Trip.com apologies a few times, they made many efforts to call us a few times. But the hotel & the management acting as if nothing happened! Is this really how a 5 stars hotel service? Luxury what? They treated us like a homeless person begging for room! So UNACCEPTABLE! I have never experienced staying in a 5 stars hotel with such a BAD service like this! This is the worst in our history of travel! This place must keep their act together! Learn hospitality BETTER! Overall, we were very disappointed, & this place is far from Luxury Collection, it's a CHEAP collection!

ММаринаКККStayed one night. Nice beach hotel. There are few tourists, probably due to the proximity of Israel. You cannot bring your own alcohol, they have it at the hotel. For comparison, a bottle of sparkling wine in a store costs 12-15 dinars, in a hotel - 60! Drink under the hotel fence). You can negotiate, but only if you take something from them. And so all is well). Breakfast is good, lots of choice. For dinner we went outside the hotel grounds.

GGuest User🏜️ “Magical Desert Escape at Hasan Zawaideh Camp” 🌌 Staying at Hasan Zawaideh Camp in Wadi Rum was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences I’ve ever had. The camp perfectly blends comfort with the raw beauty of the desert, making it a truly magical getaway. ✨ The tent was clean, cozy, and surprisingly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night under the stars. At night, the view of the starry desert sky was absolutely breathtaking — something you can’t experience in the city. 🍽️ Dinner and breakfast were delicious, served in a warm, communal setting with traditional Jordanian hospitality. Sharing a meal by the fire while listening to local music made the experience even more special. 🚙 We also joined a desert tour arranged by the camp, which took us across Wadi Rum’s stunning landscapes — red sand dunes, rock formations, and panoramic views that felt like stepping into another world. Most importantly, the staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like family rather than just guests. ⸻ 🌟 Highlights: • Cozy, well-kept tents with amazing desert views 🏕️ • Star-filled night sky 🌌 • Delicious traditional meals 🍴 • Exciting Wadi Rum desert tour 🚙 • Warm and genuine hospitality 💛 ⸻ If you’re looking for an authentic yet comfortable way to experience the beauty of Wadi Rum, Hasan Zawaideh Camp is the perfect choice. A true desert dream come true! #WadiRumWonder #HasanZawaidehCamp #DesertDreams

AAnonymous UserShell Luxury Camp is an idyllic oasis set against an otherwise harsh desert landscape. Waking up to sunrise right outside the camp is genuinely breathtaking. The cosy “shell” accommodation delivers a true five-star experience, with exceptionally comfortable bed linens. Service was prompt, staff were attentive, warm, and professional. Hot water availability is limited to specific time frames and was only lukewarm during winter. To their credit, the front desk did remind guests, which helped manage expectations. Although the camp is relatively new, signs of wear and tear are already visible. Broken floor tiles and damaged toilet fixtures detract from the overall experience and should be addressed promptly to maintain the camp’s luxury positioning. The campsite would benefit from improved upkeep. Contrary to the hotel description, reaching the campsite directly by private car is not always possible, especially when roads are covered with sand. Hotel transfer is required. To avoid miscommunication, where language barriers may exist, it would be helpful for the camp to request guests’ vehicle plate number, colour, and model in advance, in addition to sharing live location. The room rate is undeniably steep, but overall, I had a memorable and luxurious desert stay at Shell Luxury Camp.

GGuest UserEverything was fine, but I faced a problem with the lack of availability. For example, I contacted the receptionist in the morning and asked for the room to be cleaned and for my shoes to be changed (the room was cleaned, but the shoes were not provided). In the evening, I asked for the shoes to be provided, and the receptionist replied, ”Immediately,” but my request was not met.

DDafetahiOur stay at Shaheen Camp was an incredible experience, even though we were transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp due to the low season. Since the camps are next to each other, and likely have the same owners, the transition was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure we felt at home, offering delicious tea, traditional dance, and live music, creating a truly immersive Bedouin experience. The variety of tours and activities they provided allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum in an unforgettable way. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a special occasion, adding to the magic of our stay. The only minor point for improvement was the bed setup, as it was made up of two single beds combined, but honestly, this was such a small detail compared to the overall incredible experience we had. If you’re looking for a welcoming, authentic, and memorable stay in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend Shaheen and Hasan Zawaideh Camp. I would gladly return for another unforgettable adventure!

MMaajyAbsolutely loved the stay at Luxotel. From the moment you srrive till you leave, you’re taken care of by a pleasant group of staff. The rooms are clean and nice and words can’t express how unreal the place is. Secluded and you don’t get wifi in the room which keeps you away from the busy life. The food at the restaurant is amazing with a vast array of delectable foods. I thoroughly enjoy the stay. Also, please arrange the 4 hour tour for 70 JOD with the hotel. We had a sunset tour and it was by far the best thing I’ve done today. Loved the stay and the staff and so thankful for making the stay unreal.

GGuest UserWe stayed here as a family in a bubble tent during our trip to Wadi Rum, and overall we had a very positive experience. The owner, Eid, was genuinely attentive from the very beginning. Shortly after we made the reservation, he contacted us by email and stayed in touch throughout the process. He truly does his best at every stage to make sure his guests are comfortable and satisfied. We really appreciated that level of care and communication. The location of the camp is beautiful and peaceful. Even though the weather was partly cloudy, we were still able to see the stars at night, which was very special. Dinner was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes. The vegetable options were especially delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We also joined a jeep desert tour, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. Our guide (I unfortunately forgot his name) was friendly and made the experience both enjoyable and comfortable. Traveling with two children, we felt safe, relaxed, and well taken care of throughout our stay. I would happily recommend this camp to other families visiting Wadi Rum.
