Bangkok Design Week | Bangkok
Celebration
Bangkok Design Week will be held from January 29 to February 8, 2026, across various creative districts in Bangkok.
The festival is organized by the Creative Economy Agency (CEA), in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, government and private sectors, educational institutions, international organizations, and creative district networks. The 11-day event is themed "Design S/O/S".
The theme of this event revolves around the question "What can design do?", emphasizing that design is a tool that can help people "Act/Create/Survive", thereby driving urban development, strengthening businesses, promoting economic growth, and building a more sustainable world.
The festival’s activities cover Bangkok’s creative districts, including exhibitions, lectures, workshops, events, tours, design markets, international collaborative projects, creative district initiatives, city activation events, and special promotional campaigns by local shops and restaurants.
Bangkok Design Week has reached its ninth edition, continuously stimulating transformation and inviting everyone to use creativity and design to tackle the challenges of 2026 and beyond. The event focuses on showcasing the vision of designers, entrepreneurs, and community networks, and encourages them to turn imagination and “survival ideas” into practical action.
