The room was charmingly rustic and exceeded my expectations. The microwave and household kitchen supplies were a big plus. You can ask the front desk for toothbrushes and slippers, and they'll provide them if they have them in stock.
We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Frontenac. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be offered an early check-in with a discounted upgrade to a king bed room with a view, which was a great start to our visit.
The room itself was lovely. It is on the smaller side, but that is completely expected in a historical hotel and only adds to its charm. Everything was well maintained and comfortable.
The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The location is unbeatable and you truly cannot find a better spot to explore Old Québec and the surrounding area.
It is on the expensive side, but if you are visiting for a short stay and want to make the most of your experience, it is absolutely worth it. I would highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Québec City.
The spa was great, even had cucumber water
Restaurants close 10-00 early a little for the bar
The room was spacious dark a little the maids spent just the third day missing towels the patio door should be washed or renovated
I still give it 4 out of 5 I liked it
A quirky little hotel that is directly on the main drag in Gatineau. The room was a good size, though the tiny bathroom left a lot to be desired; it was old, dated, and so small that the sink was in the main room.
The bed, however, was very comfortable and the desk/tv setup was great. Lots of convenient receptacles for plugging in phones and the like. The fridge in the cupboard made that cupboard very hot and I'd imagine those fridges won't last long as burnout must be a thing...
Weird, convoluted directions for getting to the hot tub from our room; make sure to leave a trail of breadcrumbs or you may be lost forever.
Front desk staff were professional and completely bilingual, which was very much appreciated.
The view was great! I booked a city view room and the night view was beautiful. We even got to see the sunset as our room faced west! The facilities and service were pretty good, and the staff were very friendly. When we ran out of water, we could just get more from the front desk. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn't great, probably because our room was close to the elevator.
The booked king suit suite, the room size is large, suitable for family travel.
Canada does not provide disposable items by default. It is best to bring your own toiletries, especially slippers. There are no disposable slippers here. If you go to the front desk to ask for it, provide recycled foot cover (avoid the floor cold in winter)
This is generally only available at 3 pm. It is best to have an ihg member. Otherwise, you can't check in before 3 o'clock and you need to pay 25 CAD separately. When the hotel is busy, the member's late check-out cannot be used. This should be noted.
It is recommended to book a room facing the west side, and the sunset is very beautiful in the evening. If you are traveling by car, it is recommended to go to the park by the river, 5 minutes drive, there is a large green area, you can see swarms of wild Canadian geese.
Good hotel. The bed is super comfortable, and the welcome and service are great.
The hotel could use some updating, but it has all the comforts you need.
It's extremely well located between Gatineau and Ottawa.
There's indoor parking for $14.
Very good hotel.

Location: 8/10 Close to the

Cleanliness: 8/10
Sleep Quality: 8/10 The second time we live in this hotel, and our room isn’t facing that bar, so it’s a quiet night;
Breakfast: 9/10 Toast, bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, yogurt, and some fruits, etc., the breakfast problem is solved, which is very
