We stayed for one day. The breakfast was modest, but you probably won't go hungry. A huge downside was that the sheets weren't changed. I pointed out the dirt and hair on the bedsheet, and the staff member just said, 'So what?' She then brought another dirty sheet. It took three attempts to get a clean one, which was horrible. The toilet and sink were dirty, and people clearly smoke in the room, so there was a strong odor. There was a safe in the room, but no hair conditioner, cotton buds, or tissues. Maybe we've been spoiled by other 4-star hotels, but there was absolutely nothing here... They also put us next to a room undergoing major renovations, so there was a loud banging noise starting at 8 AM. Luckily, we had an extra three hours and were already heading out. I definitely wouldn't come back here. On the plus side, it's about a 15-minute walk to the train station.
Definitely a very very old heritage hotel with a lot of history! The hotel premises are stunning. The reception and lounge staff were so nice and helpful.
I do think, the hotel could do with a litte but of refurbishing especially for the rooms. But I cannot complain! Got the best deal, and had a really good time and the breakfast out in the garden under orange trees was like straight out of a movie! Loved it!!!
Great location, close to many more hip and happening hotels, bars, restaurants and cafes.
The overall service needs to be improved. The room needs to be checked before being handed over to guests. The reception/ breakfast area's air conditioning was continuous off. The quality of breakfast was just a tick in the box for free breakfast.
Very average stay, me and friend of mine found hotel staff friendly but a male late receptionist during our stay who seemed to bother him any prinary enquire we came up with. It was really not an issue for us as it was a short stay and we are a very laid backed ones but could be for others.
You get what you pay for.
The hotel interior is incredibly beautiful, and the room itself is spacious and comfortable. There's a safe in the room, which wasn't mentioned in the description. Despite facing the road, it wasn't noisy at all; we could sleep soundly with the windows closed. The only minor inconvenience was the lighting setup in the room. There's no main overhead light, just small bedside lamps. One lamp is quite bright, while the other is barely more than a nightlight. The switch system is a bit complicated; you can only turn off the nightlight along with all the other lights in the room. And if you want to turn on another light (like in the bathroom), the nightlight also comes on, which isn't ideal at night if someone else is sleeping. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries, pancakes, and orange juice. The hotel's location is quite convenient: about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station and a 40-minute walk to the Old Town. It's also close to the airport, about a 15-minute drive.
The hotel manager and his team were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The food was of high quality, and both the service and reception were delivered to a very high standard.
Some challenges encountered, which appear to be beyond the hotel’s direct control, included the condition of the road leading to the hotel — rough and dusty — as well as the lengthy 45-minute journey from the airport. Additionally, there were WiFi connectivity issues during the first two days of our stay; however, these were eventually resolved.
Lastly, the intensity of the Marrakech heat was truly remarkable.
Overall, I would rate the hotel a respectable 7 out of 10.
Much better than expected. I like the location being next to a hypermarket and public transport.
The bed was decent and there was actually a fridge in the room. My room was very clean.
The internet was good for one person. Speed was around 10up 5down. Not blazing fast but could video call and stream no problem.
I only paid the honest and correct amount of city tax compared to other places in Morocco.
Staff were friendly enough.
I would actually come back - decent value for money
Really nice hotel a 20 walk from the main sights of the city. The hotel room is small and the shower could have been built better to prevent flooding but the staff are nice and breakfast was tasty.
Incredible location and resort, with extremely helpful staff, unique scenery and high quality food and service. The wide array of animals are an absolute treat, with some rare examples. The food, meat and veg is farm fresh produced on site, with a wide variety of cuisines and flavours, every meal was delectable and a tasty filling. The resort is vast and continually expanding and it's a reprieve on all of the senses. The sights, sounds, smells and touch of the environment feels wholly authentic, and fits into the surrounding landscape. We look forward to staying here again in the future. The resort is still in its infancy, so the number of visitors hasn't peaked, which means it's nicely quiet and not inundated with many tourists. Therefore it's an amazing place for children to visit and, play in a safe location.
