The room was very nice, the boss was very nice, and he also provided a rich breakfast. It is also very convenient to go to various tourist attractions. It's also very close to the city. The overall feeling of staying here is very relaxing!

Guest UserWe didn't notice that we needed to check in before 6pm. When we arrived at the hotel after the Cradle Mountain hike, it was just over ten minutes. At first, we thought we had found the wrong entrance to the reception (it was a regular hotel, not a B&B, so we didn't expect that we couldn't check in so early. The sun didn't set until 8pm). There were two staff members sitting at the reception counter (glass door, visible from the outside), and no matter how we knocked or gestured, they just shook their hands. There was a small iron box on the door that needed to be opened with the password given in the email, and there was a key inside. But there were several big words in my email: Unable to display the content of the email! There was no way, we called the hotel, but they didn't answer and transferred the call to voice, so we had to leave a message. Just when we were about to contact Ctrip, the people inside finally came out, opened the iron box, and gave us the key. How arrogant!!!

It is a cabin in the national park. The room is very cold when you enter. You need to light a fire for several hours to warm it up. It is too hot to sleep at night. The heating lamp in the toilet is broken and it is very cold to go to the toilet. The bedroom is on the second floor and the toilet is on the first floor next to the door, which is a bit inconvenient. The water from the tap is yellow and it is still yellow after a long time. No bottled water is provided.

It's low season. I saw only 2 groups of guests (2 people per group) including mine during our stay. We occupied the best room type (2-bedroom) with kitchenette, hot shower, heater in the dining room, TV, heater to the bedding which is a hearty touch in such a cold area. It can accommodate 7 to 8 people in the room. Very quiet, we only heard waves at the beach which's at the opposite side of the main road about the front of our house. I read many negative comments on the male host (Scott?) before our stay, but our actual experience is that he's ok, we didn't feel anything bad about him. He is kind to advise us the best location to watch stars and southern lights.
The worst thing that we must mention is the poor quality of water which is brownish yellow. So we dared not use the tap water for cooking or drinking. This is very undesirable.

The room completely exceeded our expectations, and the reception was very friendly. Initially, I thought the hotel looked a bit old from the official pictures, but once we checked in, I found it to be excellent. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, furnishings, and overall environment. The location is great, less than 200 meters from the Visitor Center, and it's only a 3-minute drive to Peppers for dinner. It's also a 2-minute drive to the Cradle Mountain center. In the evenings, we even saw animals outside our room, which was a very special experience. We visited in autumn, and wood was already provided in the room, so burning charcoal in the stove ourselves was a lot of fun. All in all, we were very satisfied and would definitely choose this place again when we return to Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park.

Guest UserWe arrived after 6pm so we needed to call the resort hotline to find out what’s the latest check in instructions. It would be great we get informed about this in advance. But the resort hotline was very helpful and we were able to get what we needed to check in and reached our house. Our house was fully equipped (except cooking oil excluded).
The main restaurant is on the other side of the road and you needed to book in advance. We were “forced” to move our dinner earlier after reservation without a proper reason, so it’s a bit disappointing on the experience for family traveling from far to stay at your place.
The only suggestion is the lighting in the living room. It was quite dark and only with pure white light. It should have ambient lighting color for vacation. Thanks

Everything you need in this house is perfect. The kitchenette is cozy and super warm, thanks to the heater that the house owner had open before we arrived. There’s no heater in the bedroom, but they have a warming blacket instead. It’s just a 30-minute drive from Cradle Mountain. Would recommend this house to everyone who plan traveling to Tasmania.

Here’s the translation:
1. A very cute and Modern room, beautifully decorated, exactly like the photos.
2. The hosts are very friendly; it's basically their home, with only two rooms available for guests. If you’re lucky, you might encounter their grandchildren swimming and playing, hearing their laughter.
3. The room's amenities are quite high quality, and the space is ample.
4. Breakfast is provided early in the room, including bread, various types of jams and butter, milk, orange juice, and a variety of cereal options. Tea bags are also available.
5. There’s a free washing machine and laundry powder, but no dryer.
6. The location is within a 20-minute drive from Launceston.
7. If you want a quiet and comfortable space, this is a great choice.

Information about checking in was sent to us via email a day before were were due. Staircase was narrow, so was quite difficult to bring large luggage up.
Room looks wonderful and tastefully done. We had the suite, and as such, has an adjoining bedroom as well. The balcony was nice for a sit down to relax.
Breakfast provided at the ground floor dining room as simple but sufficient for us. Bread toast, cereals, juicies, tea & coffee.
We stayed 2 nights, The location is not far from Launceston main CBD. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, so was quite peacefull. Street parking in front of it is available, but parking charges takes effect from 9am, but did not impact us much as we are out.
