Booked the 'Dream Island Luxury Treehouse' for the red panda interaction, and checked in just in time for the animal interaction session. As soon as we entered the room, the red pandas were already there! It was a special experience staying in the zoo. A big thank you to the zookeeper on the morning of the 9th; it was truly a surprise wake-up call! I had mistakenly thought the morning interaction was at 8:30 AM, but the red pandas started at 8:00 AM. Since I hadn't woken my child up yet, the zookeeper thoughtfully knocked on our door, otherwise, we would have missed it. After entering the room, they patiently waited for my child to wake up and interact for quite a while. Besides the room, where you can interact with red pandas, lemurs, kinkajous, and capybaras, the animals in the walking area also offer close-up interactions. The self-drive area was especially unique, with animals chasing our car for food – the experience was fantastic! The only downside was the shuttle service, which was inflexible and rigid. On the evening of the 8th, we took the shuttle to the front desk to go eat outside the park. The shuttle driver then offered to drop us off closer to Tianma Yuhu so we could walk the rest of the way. However, on the evening of the 9th, when we wanted to take the shuttle from Dream Island Station to an area near Tianma Yuhu, the driver absolutely refused to stop, insisting they could only go from the front desk to the station. So inflexible! I just want to say that for a hotel costing over 2,000 a night, there was no service whatsoever, it felt like they just wanted to make money and push guests to spend extra on sightseeing cars or rent electric vehicles! No one even offered to help with luggage at the main entrance of the hotel! All in all, aside from the poor service, the overall experience of playing with the animals was excellent.

Perfect location, lovely hosts, beautiful room with vintage furniture and super soft blanket! Very authentic. During the day time it’s super loud because of the amount of tourists, but staying in this place gives you unique opportunity to explain the town in the very early morning or very late evening (the lights switch off at 23:00).
The room can seem small, but it’s old town, it can’t be different:)
Unfortunately there was no tea provided, that’s sad for tea-famous country, maybe should be improved. Other than that – my stay was amazing☺️

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

The staff who assisted me with the check-in was so helpful. She was kind and very responsive. She’s the best.
What I love about this hotel is that it is very comfortable and clean. They clean the room every day. They also have separate shower and toilet areas. Additionally, I was able to wash my clothes because they have a washer and dryer.
It was a very comfortable and cozy room. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance to visit Nanjing.

The B&B's location is fantastic, within walking distance of Dongguan Street and Pishi Street. We passed by numerous national, provincial, and city-level protected historical sites, and the B&B itself is one of them – what a privilege to stay in a salt commissioner's former residence! Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel itself is quite peaceful, free from tourist noise. The small courtyard is lovely, perfect for a large family outing, where you can book two rooms and share a private courtyard. Breakfast is served at a neighboring partner restaurant with beautiful garden scenery, though it was a bit crowded during the Qingming Festival. The B&B's service was impeccable; they provided a special children's toiletries kit, and we even received Yangzhou University yogurt upon check-in. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, and they even helped us pack items we'd forgotten when we checked out.

Booked this for my parents. They couldn't find the entrance when they arrived downstairs, so they called the owner, who immediately came down to pick them up without a second thought. The service was excellent. The room was very spacious, which is great for a bustling area like Xinjiekou. The air conditioning and hot water facilities were good, and the location was fantastic, making it easy to get around. They had a very comfortable stay.

Who knows the family! I didn't expect the scenic homestay, but I was surprised by this one! 👉 Health is really amazing! The floor is not sticky with bare feet, the bedding is like just sunbathing, there is no mold in the corner of the bathroom, obsessive-compulsive disorder is a satisfying ~, 💖 The boss is super real, watching me bring the baby and specially changed the thick mattress. There are small daisys in the yard. In the morning, the window is opened to see the mountain view. The price is full! , ⚠️ Small disadvantage: The location is in the alley, you have to drive slowly to find it. But it takes 5 minutes to walk to the entrance of the scenic spot, and the flaws are not concealed! , I really press Amway to the treasures who are pursuing cleanliness, come to Huaguoshan to close their eyes and rush this home! I have lived and said yes ~

The hotel is not bad, it’s not very close to metro, but it’s okay. Room is nice and big, but a bit dirty in some places. Unfortunately, there was no washing powder in the room, and I was told to go and buy it. The hotel provides breakfast, but it’s in the neighbourhood building and the breakfast itself was with quite a modest choice

The inn located inside one lanza just neside the canal. It takes you no time to go any places of the town. It's just nearby the three bridges where at night the light is beautiful. The plus of the in is that Jack, the owner, he gave me a great support when I stay there. Maybe he's the only in the town can speak English that made me very calm when arrived. He's also very helpful with his map on which he draw a route recommended. This is also the only one does this since I had been in 2 others old town before but none of them have a map for the guest 😞. Very recommend the inn. And Jack! Pluss my room is very beautiful & spacious with a tea table beside the big windows looking to the tiny & cute gate of the house.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in Suzhou. The interior design is stunning — a perfect blend of elegant classic Chinese furniture with modern room comfort. Every corner of the hotel feels artistic, warm, and full of character.
The room was very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The location is also excellent, especially for exploring the charming Pingjiang Road area.
What made the experience even more memorable was the outstanding service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the female staff members who were exceptionally warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. They made us feel truly cared for.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique boutique hotel experience with beautiful aesthetics and excellent hospitality in Suzhou

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner. I didn’t and still don’t have an eSIM that can make local call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free. I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands. I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.
I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop to Suzhou which was my next destination.
This operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.
After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge . If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass. Do check with the owner for up to date information.
The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.
Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. . There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy. It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances.
The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.
This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.
I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.
GGuest UserGreat location, easy to get around

WWorld wonders 探险者Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserIt's 500 meters from the East Gate of Lingshan.
You can have hot pot in the courtyard.
The room is close to the bamboo grove and has a small balcony, making it quite comfortable.
The service is excellent; when it's not busy, the owner is happy to help with luggage.
The breakfast is simple and home-style, and the auntie is very helpful.
The welcome fruit is also a thoughtful touch.
GGuest UserThis guesthouse has a charming, antique feel. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, with plenty of great food options nearby. The owner is very artistic and thoughtful; they contacted me in advance and proactively shared travel and dining tips. After a tiring day of sightseeing, the owner's father even made me coffee. I was very satisfied with my two-night stay, definitely a five-star rating!

DDanaonianlianAs someone with severe mysophobia, I pay close attention to the bedding and toilet when I stay anywhere. This guesthouse truly excels in its hygiene details. The duvet and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and they were from the brand Graceful. The host thoughtfully put an extra pillow protector on the pillow core before the actual pillowcase we used. The mattress also had an additional mattress cover underneath the fitted sheet, showing the same meticulous care as one would in their own home. What particularly touched me as a mysophobe was that the toilet paper rolls were individually wrapped, and they even provided disposable toilet seat covers, also from the Graceful brand. The hostess provided very detailed and attentive service, contacting me in advance with directions and check-in instructions. The room's soft furnishings were beautifully and thoughtfully arranged, making it perfect for photos. The facilities were comprehensive; in addition to standard disposable toiletries, they also provided disposable towels and bath towels. The high-floor view was also excellent, with the Himalayan buildings and lights visible right outside the window. It was a wonderful stay! ( ﹡ˆoˆ﹡ )
