"City trip with two teenage children to Krakow in mid-July. Location: The Dada Apart Hotel is located in a lively neighborhood with many bars and restaurants, not far from the Vistula River. Good transport links to the city center and most of the sights are available. The hotel itself is a beautifully modernized old building. We had a spacious and adequately furnished four-bed room on the third floor with a double bed and a sofa bed. The double bed was very comfortable, the sofa not so much. The children were unhappy with the weak internet connection; only the signal was weak at the entrance to the room. We can't comment on the expected room service; there was none during the four days we were there. Thus, with four people in the room, waste disposal quickly becomes an issue – there is no accessible trash can for guests. We didn't see any hotel staff. The keycard is stored in a key safe upon arrival; the code is provided via email. The additional breakfast was available via online voucher in the Hotel Garni, about a 5-minute walk away, and left nothing to be desired."

"The location was great. A fairly short walk to the old town. There is no front desk or any visible service, except the cleaner in the morning. Although the room looked nice and was quite large and had clothes hangars and a desk, it had a big problem. There was a window above the door and the hall night flickered all night. A few seconds on, a few seconds off. Even with my sleep mask, the constantly changing light was very noticeable and made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. I noticed that my room was the only one in my part of the accommodation with such a window, so I guess the other rooms would be better. They should really cover the window up. Even if they fixed the flickering, it would still be annoying to have the light go on whenever other guests go to the hall to use the bathroom or for coming in and out. The other issue was the internet. It was useable for what I needed during the trip, but it lagged at times, and I don't think it would have been suitable for a work conference call."

"The location is perfect, right near the river. There are convenience store nearby, even some restaurants still open till midnight. The hotel check-in is fully self-service, there is customer service hotline 24/7. The only bad thing was Trip.com services, I had trouble finding the check in information because Trip.com did not send my personal info to the hotel, so they were not able to send me my room number and password to the main door. Luckily i have overseas phone service so I called the hotline and they sent me all the information via SMS eventually."
