The Wontonmeen is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Wontonmeen is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Hong Kong. The hotel is conveniently located just 3km from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and 29km from Hong Kong International Airport. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Prince Edward Metro Station within walking distance. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Goldfish Street, Mong Kok and Super Sports Park all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"I had a pleasant, quiet, and comfortable stay for two nights. The owner was kind to let me check in early and got me acquainted with the interesting spaces within the hostel. The amenities nearby served me well - <10 mins walk to the nearest train station, a supermarket across the road, and some eateries. Highly recommended for solo and/or female travellers."

Kung Fu Hostel provides private rooms and bed rooms, facilities include iron lockers, luggage storage, 24-hour road TV system, and 24-hour reception. Provide travelers with cheap and clean accommodation services.

"This hotel is located in Mirador Mansion, right next to Chungking Mansions, making it very convenient for getting around. It seems to be run by a martial arts studio. For tourists who spend all day exploring and just need a place to shower, charge their devices, and sleep at night, it's perfectly sufficient. It has a private bathroom and air conditioning, and it's quieter and easier to sleep in than a typical hostel. Just remember to bring your own disposables like bath towels and slippers, and a universal adapter. It's a great value-for-money option for an overnight stay in Tsim Sha Tsui."

I knew hotels in Hong Kong are expensive, so since the price for this one was low, I expected wat I paid for. However, basic safety and hygiene were missing. The cleanliness was only moderate at best, but the real issue was seeing rats running along the wires on the ceiling. The booking process was also a mess. l was forced to pay an additional fee just to get a room with a window, simply because it had twin beds instead of a double. It felt like a scam and poor management. The location is perfect tho.

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was especially cool for me to stay in this particular building because it's where the famous movie 'Chungking Express' was filmed. That alone makes the place special and gives it a unique vibe. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool, which was especially important in the hot and humid weather. I also want to give a special shout-out to the host. He was very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and I was even able to check in earlier than the set time.

First time visiting Hong Kong! The hotel is about an eight-minute walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR station. There's a Café de Coral right outside the station, which serves decent food. We stayed in a four-person female dorm, and the communal bathroom was conveniently located inside the room, making showering and using the toilet super easy. The air conditioning was strong, which was a huge relief after a long day of walking around. The front desk staff were very friendly and even offered free luggage storage for a day.

Hi this is specific place you have to be aware of that. Building is full of hostels. Every flor is different hostel. There is no name of hostel on the board. You have to go directly to 16th floor. In rush hour you will have to wait a bit for a lift, but generally I am aware for the price you can expect to much. Big advantage is clean room even though surroundings might say something else. The worst for us was fact that hostel lie in information provided for trip. Rooms doesn’t have 14 square meters , maximum is half of that. We should get room with another view. Generally for the price in Hong Kong it’s ok but do not be fool by information provided by hotel on Trip.com. If you are backpacker then I think you can manage but I will not recommend it for families or couples. What’s more we get room at 6th floor, Water drops from the air conditioners on higher floors were dripping onto our AC unit all night, so unfortunately, we couldn't get a good night's sleep.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the bedding was spotless. If you're not used to disposable towels, you can bring your own. It was perfectly fine for one person. The air conditioning and ventilation system worked great, so it never felt stuffy. All in all, for Hong Kong's high prices, under 500 a night on a weekend with a private bathroom, clean and tidy, this place offers incredibly good value for money. The location is super convenient – you can see Haiphong Mansion right after exiting the MTR station. The front desk uncle and the younger guy were both very friendly and helped with any requests. Before I left, they even helped arrange a luxurious and comfortable large business car to take me to the airport. Highly recommended!

Hygge Residence

Finding the perfect place to stay in the heart of Hong Kong can often feel like a gamble, but **Hygge Residence on Nathan Road** is a genuine jackpot. If you are looking for that elusive balance between the electric energy of Tsim Sha Tsui and a peaceful, stylish sanctuary to retreat to at night, look no further. This isn’t just a guest house or a standard hotel; it is a meticulously curated experience that lives up to its name by bringing a sense of Scandinavian ”hygge”—comfort, coziness, and well-being—to one of the busiest streets in the world. ### The Location: Unbeatable Convenience Located directly on Nathan Road, the ”Golden Mile,” you are quite literally at the center of the action. The **Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station** is just steps away, making the entire city accessible within minutes. You are within walking distance of the Victoria Harbour waterfront, the Star Ferry, and luxury shopping at Harbour City. Despite being in the middle of this urban whirlwind, the moment you step inside the residence, the noise of the city completely vanishes. The soundproofing is world-class, which is a rare and precious find in Hong Kong’s high-density environment. ### The Aesthetic and Comfort The interior design is where Hygge Residence truly shines. Unlike the cramped, dated rooms often found in this district, these units are: * **Modern and Minimalist:** Clean lines, light wood accents, and warm lighting. * **Impeccably Clean:** You can tell the management takes hygiene seriously. The linens are crisp, and the bathrooms are spotless. * **Thoughtfully Equipped:** Every square inch is utilized efficiently. From high-speed Wi-Fi that actually stays high-speed to the premium toiletries, no detail has been overlooked. ### The ”Hygge” Factor What sets this place apart is the atmosphere. There is a tangible sense of calm. After a long day of navigating the humid streets or attending business meetings, coming back here feels like a deep exhale. The bed is incredibly comfortable—the kind of mattress that makes it difficult to wake up in the morning. ### Exceptional Service The staff deserves a special mention. The check-in process is seamless, often involving smart-lock technology that makes coming and going a breeze. They are responsive, helpful, and genuinely care about your stay. It’s that boutique level of attention that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just a room number. ### Final Verdict For the solo traveler, the digital nomad, or the couple looking for a chic urban getaway, Hygge Residence is a 10/10. It offers a premium, boutique feel without the eye-watering price tag of the five-star giants nearby. It is a masterclass in how to do urban hospitality right. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Hong Kong. If you see an opening, **book it immediately**—places this good don’t stay vacant for long!

The front desk and the room are not in the same area, the front desk is in A, and the room is in D. People arrived late, Peter at the front desk was very enthusiastic, and he also upgraded the independent guard and introduced the details of the stay. like

Relatively easy to get to, with easy communication with the Guesthouse owners. The location is great- right in front of the Kowloon mosque which was great for us, indicating availability of halal food nearby. Within walking distance of the mtr, tourist attractions and shops (7e is right below). We took the Cityliner from the airport and got dropped off at the nearest stop which was great! Room was super tight, with small bathroom with a shower head right above the toilet. The toilet doors required some manoeuvring because it could close but was somewhat disconnected from each sliding panel (with evidence of some bugs stuck between the panels, I can understand, in rather hard to reach places).Otherwise, clean enough room and very quiet. Enough space under the beds to store luggage but otherwise, just enough space around the room for a single person to walk about, so we had to take turns and mostly sat on our beds. For very short stays, seems like a good place.

I've booked here many times. They clean thoroughly every day, so it's much cleaner than the other hostels I've stayed at here in Hong Kong. There's water and a kettle available outside of the rooms. While the owner and workers are quite accommodating, they only really speak Cantonese and Mandarin, so just be prepared for that.

Pros: • Super cheap • Great location Cons: • Thin pad on hard wooden board → feels like sleeping on plywood, very uncomfortable • Tiny bugs found on the bedsheet • Persistent foot odor inside unit • Noise easily travels: heard people chatting at night despite “no talking” rule • Common area gets extremely loud during meals (loud Tagalog conversations) • Wi-Fi occasionally cuts out completely Sleep quality was terrible due to the hard surface and bugs. Everything else is bearable if you’re just crashing for a short time and have very low expectations.
