Excellent value for money! The beds are clean and the common areas have a fantastic atmosphere, making it easy to meet backpackers from all over the world. The shared bathrooms are tidy (though you might have to queue during peak hours), and there are locker codes for peace of mind. It can get a bit lively at night, so it's perfect for young travelers who enjoy socializing. The location is super convenient, with the subway right downstairs. It’s a unique experience, embracing the good and the compromises of a hostel stay!

I was very well received there, everyone was very attentive to my needs and requests and very polite when they had to approach me. As an international hostel, they could have more comfortable beds, suited to international standards. I also had some issues with noise from an early hour, since the family running it lives in the same building, so kitchen noises (no door) and the child being loud at 6:30am were a bit challenging. Still, overall a very good experience!

Perfect modern hostel, with traditional style! It offers all a backpacker would need: superclean and cozy bed. No heating but a delightful warming pad, in a silent large dorm with window light. Plagues and light bed. Big towel provided and all kind of soaps in the clean spacefull showers. Running hot water. Loundry. Many common spaces, where you can enjoy the sun light reading or playing pool and a marvellous ******* style room, where you can keep warm relaxing around the stove, while eating or tasting tea. Hot and cold water provided. The staff is gentle and helpful and I do thank them for the pleasant staying.

This is my third time staying here, and it's changed a lot since last year. The entire common area is much larger now, and the style is fantastic. The owner mentioned that all the furniture was handmade by him, from lumber he brought back himself – it's really comfortable and impressive. The dogs are a bit fatter than last year, lazily sunbathing, and petting them while sitting nearby is quite therapeutic. Even though it's considered the off-season in Kunming right now, there are a lot of guests in the lounge. Last year, when there were more people staying, the lounge wasn't as crowded. So, the public area renovation definitely paid off. I saw the owner still painting and adding soft furnishings, so the space isn't completely finished yet. I'll just have to wait until my next visit to Kunming to see what other surprises are in store.

First, some praise: ① Compared to the quadruple rooms in other hostels I've stayed in, this one is more spacious and the hygiene is good. ② The location, tucked away in an alley off the main road, makes it quiet enough if there's no one being noisy. In my opinion, the shortcomings are: ① The room truly has nothing in it – no disposable toiletries whatsoever. While it does make it look tidy, it's quite bare. ② The hot water flow in the private bathroom is a bit weak, lacking any real pressure. ③ The room door isn't soundproof, and the floor creaks loudly when walked on. Facilities: The sheets and duvet covers were given to me upon check-in, and they did look a bit old.

Hygiene: Good. You need to change your own bedding (three-piece set), which is reassuring. Each room has a private bathroom, and there are two more in the lobby. If you check in late or return late and don't want to disturb your roommates, you can wash up in the lobby – very convenient. There are some notices posted on the door. The owner, Cai Cai, is very nice. Environment: It's in a village, but you can locate your car using GPS. Taxis in Pu'er aren't expensive, so I think it's acceptable. The girls here often play Werewolf, but unfortunately, we couldn't play together due to time constraints. Everyone was really enthusiastic! ❤️🔥 Service: Good ٩（•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑）ᵒᵏᵎᵎᵎᵎ Facilities: Earplugs are provided. Tissues are available in the living room for as needed. Bring your own toiletries or order takeout. I must praise the bed – it's incredibly sturdy; it doesn't make any rattling noises when you turn over, which is perfect for restless sleepers! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Pu'er!

First, let me start with a compliment! The service attitude was exceptionally good! Whether it was asking the customer service小姐姐 for two extra quilts because I'm sensitive to cold, or asking the kitchen姐姐 for a plate to wash some fruit, everyone was incredibly willing to help! No one showed any impatience whatsoever. Everyone was genuinely wonderful, like a big, happy family! Now for the downsides: The secondhand smoke issue is really serious! From the moment you walk in, there are smokers everywhere, and there are ashtrays outside the rooms on the second floor, with people smoking there every day. Of course, I had seen reviews mentioning this before checking in, so I was mentally prepared. Also, the water heater was still quite unstable, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold. I was practically doing a tango in the shower! Overall, it's great value for money, and I even found a companion. I would still recommend staying at 'Dajiaoshi' if you're traveling alone!

I arrived at the youth hostel at around 9pm. I booked it immediately after seeing the room. The room was clean and comfortable, well ventilated, and both the room and the bathroom had windows. The bedding was also clean, and the room was quite large. There was a large platform on the top floor, which was very comfortable to sit and enjoy the breeze at night. I will stay at this youth hostel again next time I go to Jianshui. The boss was also very nice. I didn't eat after arriving, so he recommended Lao Er BBQ nearby. I couldn't find it on the map, but it was delicious!

This stay experience was absolutely amazing! Definitely a five-star review~ The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and surrounded by a complete commercial district, making it incredibly easy to get around and find food. The lobby is exquisitely decorated and grand, with a very pleasant fragrance. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and professional, checking me in super fast and patiently introducing the hotel facilities and local attractions. The room was surprisingly clean and tidy. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress offered just the right support, ensuring a wonderfully sound sleep all night long. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with plenty of hot water and stable temperature. The toiletries were high-quality with a subtle, pleasant scent. The window offered an expansive view, no noise disturbance, and great privacy. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western options. Fresh fruit, freshly prepared breakfast items, desserts, and drinks were all available, and the flavors were authentic and not perfunctory. The cleaning staff were meticulous in their daily cleaning, replenished items promptly, and even proactively asked if I needed anything – the attention to detail was truly thoughtful. Whether for a business trip or a vacation, this is an excellent choice. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

located near to the city, for muslim people, easy to find halal food near the hostel. everything was nice. There was no fan in the room but when i came it’s already end of autumn, so it’s not a problem for me.
