Centrally located. Very close metro. Easy to reach from airport. Decent breakfast for 8.5 euros. Not many inexpensive eateries around

I have to say it's the best Youth Hostel I have ever stayed in Barcelona. The location is near the guell park, compared to the other popular location, it's not noisy and really quiet at night. Everything is clean, you can a nice aroma everywhere once you enter into the hostel. They provided the locker and the key, so it's also safety. I would definitely choose it for the next time's travel in Barcelona.

Location is a truly bonus point. I walked to Casa Batlo and all around the Gothic quarter and have a good browse to various vintage stores The next day, I did a walk to Sagrada Familia and did some shopping at FC Barcelona. The next morning right after breakfast at the hostel let bby, had a quick run to Arch de triomphe then further down to Parc National it was all made doable despite my short time JUST BECAUSE THIS HOSTEL WAS THE BEST LOCATION AT A WONDERFUL PRICE. This place is VERY far from the city centre and the beaches so keep that in mind when booking. Although the hostel itself is safe, bussing back at 5 am which takes about 1 hour from the clubs and city centre is not great. The room is small but it does the job. Staff are super nice and the amenities are good.

This is my third Safestay hostel. Last year I stayed at Passeig de Gracia. They are completely different. And this year I was at the same hotel in Porto, Portugal. Convenient check-in, they don't accept cash at all. I didn't like that the kitchen is small and there is no stove for cooking. The refrigerator is small and full, for such a number of tourists. Also, there are a lot of beds in the room, too many. Good showers, some with broken plumbing. No shower gel. Everything is fine in terms of cleanliness, the reception area is beautifully decorated. Freshly renovated. The guys at the reception are friendly, special thanks for that.

Since I arrived the recepcionist attended all the needs possible and well explained the organisation system that there is made for the porpouse of the hostess. I felt comfortable at any moment, and the environment was great too. The cleaning system it's very professional as I saw how they work and they did not interrupted me at any moment of my staying. I recommend this place for students or solo travellers.

Breakfast is available EUR5 from 4 am, prearranged taxi to airport is available on pre booking first come first get basis. Midnight bus n17 to the airport is at the corner of the hotel accepted by T casual mobility card. An elevator is available at the hotel, highly recommended

I stayed here during my solo trip and had the best experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful — they really made me feel at home. The bathrooms were spotless and well maintained, which made such a big difference during my stay. The whole place had a really welcoming and positive vibe, and it was super easy to meet other travelers and make friends. As a solo traveler, I always look for places that feel safe and comfortable, and this hostel ticked all the boxes. The common areas were lively but relaxed, perfect for chatting, reading, or just hanging out. I left with great memories and new friends — I’d 100% recommend this hostel to anyone, especially solo travelers looking for a clean, friendly, and fun place to stay!

The reception staff... They were so so so kind. When I said I was from Korea, they first said hello and thank you and kindly introduced the hostel. The kitchen was big so you could cook anything and it had all kinds of spices. There were basic things like forks, knives, and pans, and there was also a microwave. There were two floors, and the room was spacious so I used a 6-person room, and each bed had a light and a place to plug in the outlet. It was prepared like a locker so you could use it, and they even prepared a locker key when you gave me the key, so I didn't really need a personal lock. The shower and bathroom were separate but outside the room, and both were clean. It seemed like they cleaned it frequently every day. They provide a free dinner every evening (Barcelona dinner time is after 9 PM) and there are events every night. If you like this kind of thing, it would be good to participate~ However, since Barcelona has such a nightlife and exciting culture, it's really noisy at night. If you're a light sleeper, it would be good to bring no-can airpods or earplugs, and if that doesn't work, look for another place to stay. I passed out and slept, so I didn't really care. We also provide free luggage storage!
