GGuest UserMy stay at Candlesticks was very enjoyable. I was made to feel very welcome, from the moment I arrived until check out next day the owner went out of his way to ensure my stay was very pleasant and that I didn't feel uncomfortable or self conscious as a single traveller. The atmosphere of the hotel and restaurant was very warm and comfortable. The food looked amazing, the downstairs restaurant was very quirky nice. I didn't eat at the restaurant but would definitely stay at Candlesticks in the future and eat there. Would definitely recommend

Very Good
SSteve QlyRoom 2 has been refurbished since our last stay and is bright, clean and comfortable.
The Queen in the west is an easy walk to the City centre, so ideally located and a great pub.
The welcome was warm and friendly.
Unfortunately, no-one knew the password for the BnB WiFi, and the stairs to our room were interesting, even for able-bodied pensioners, hence 4 for amenities.
I would still recommend this as a great place to stay for a trip to this beautiful city.
