The hotel room was quite spacious, and the air conditioning worked great. They provided water and towels, but the water in the shower was pretty cold, and there was no hairdryer. Also, be aware that there's a 1000 peso refundable deposit required upon check-in.

Very good hostel. It's a bit far (20-minute walk) from the city center, but they offer activities like tours, which is a nice touch. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, though.

Wonderful hostel, with lovely and responsive staff! There's a kitchen, comfortable beds (I slept like a log), an en-suite shower, a quiet air conditioner, and no smell in the room (though there was a pretty strong cat odor on the first floor). I've stayed here twice. It was great to come back to the same room after two months of traveling around the Philippines! The location is good too! It's a 7-minute scooter ride to the port and about 30 minutes by car to the airport. Thank you! I definitely recommend it!

The common areas are spacious, with travel books and board games on the shelves. In the evenings, people often gather to chat and watch movies, making it a great place for solo travelers to meet new friends. The bedding is changed for each guest, and the restrooms and showers are cleaned daily, so there are no unpleasant smells. The bunk beds have curtains, offering good privacy.

Good airport. Our flight from Puerto Princesa arrived without delay, and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for our luggage. The airport has many different cafes and shops. There's a bus that goes to the Lapu-Lapu area every 5 minutes (MI-05) and costs 15 pesos.

Mixed Experience at Isa-Hostel Cons - not very helpful staff at check in, no information or orientation to the hostel (e.g., breakfast, services etc.). The door to the shared dorm room didn't work properly, no one could get in or out, so whoever was in the room would have to let people in (all through the night) or the door was often left open (as we couldn't really close it when leaving) and there are no lockers for valuables and the locked drawers offered are a bit of a joke. Located very central, which means also very loud music playing till early morning, barely slept even with earplugs in. Pros - they take pride in keeping all areas clean, in the rooms, common areas and especially the bathrooms. Bathroom showers could use some door hooks to keep clean clothes or towels dry. The morning breakfast is simple but nice, they even accommodated me for breakfast even though I was technically too late. Centrally located.

The location near Dumaluan Beach is like a 10-minute walk while it's quite far from alona Beach. It's more on a quiet side compared to other hostels. The room was ok, it was clean and the bed was comfy. It's has great facilities like billiards and pool. The food was also great with big portions, staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is recommended and value hor money.

Not just a Public hostel. Very Clean. Slippers are provided so it lessen my baggage. You have to set an alarm or else youll be late. The black out, cool, serene place room will make you sleep like a baby 😆. Big comfort room with free use of blower, shampoo, liquid soap, and a lot of tissues. ☺ I got free drink, the cold green juice, a tea and a coffee the following day. Staff are friendly and ready to serve your request. Txs for adding value through your business.

AAina M. L. LoronaI had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy. My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi. To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark. The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering. Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out. My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner. My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A. I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

GGuest UserI like that the location is close to the event I have attended. The staff are also friendly and approachable. It would have been better though if there were toiletries provided like may tissue. I like that there's available hot and cold water. I will still come back though. I still have plans of getting a room here on my next events.

GGuest UserBudget Friendly Stay with Mixed Experiences - Good for the Price, but Be Prepared for Quirks We booked this hotel for three nights primarily because of its incredibly low price, around 500+ pesos. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see the area filled with HPG (Highway Patrol Group) motorcycles; it turned out they were also staying there due to an ASEAN event in Lapu-Lapu, which made the vicinity quite busy. When we entered, the reception was unattended for a moment, and when someone did assist us, they seemed rushed and hard to communicate with. Being escorted to our room was an ”okay” experience. For the 500-peso price point, it met expectations! The room had a refrigerator, and we were happy to find a bucket and dipper, which meant we could do our laundry a huge plus for us. While the shower pressure was slightly better than our previous accommodation, we still weren't fully satisfied and ended up using the bucket and dipper for bathing. We enjoyed the TV, even if it was a manual one at least it worked! However, our experience at the dining area upon checkout was quite chaotic. The staff there seemed disorganized; they were laughing, and then there was a clear concern from another guest whose order hadn't arrived despite being placed earlier than ours. It turned out their order wasn't even listed, indicating an absent-minded mistake. The scene quickly escalated with staff shouting questions like ”Where's the order?” and ”Which order?” among themselves, creating a very confusing and unpleasant atmosphere.

GGuest UserThis is an excellent place to stay. Overall, the location is good, but walking back at night along the dark, unlit streets isn't very comfortable as the hotel is set back from the main roads. We rented a motorbike from the hotel for 350 pesos. It's generally hard to get around Moalboal without a bike; you need one to reach the beaches, waterfalls, shops, and cafes. The traffic isn't heavy and is predictable, so even a novice rider would find it comfortable. You can order breakfast or food delivery at the hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and exactly as pictured on the website; our stay was very comfortable. It has everything you need: shampoo, soap, a refrigerator, a chest of drawers, and a clothes hanger. Coffee, hot, and cold water are always available. There's a clean swimming pool on the property. The hotel owners are incredibly kind; they helped us with ferry information for leaving Oslob and how to get to Oslob by bus. Thank you so much for such a cozy place 🙏

RRica MaffieI stayed here this time mainly for remote work, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi was barely usable during my stay. Luckily I had my own backup connection, so it wasn’t a huge issue for me, but without one it could be difficult. I ended up working from a nearby café instead. That said, the location is excellent, which is why I keep coming back almost every month. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so it’s very convenient and easy to stay around the area. As for the hotel café, I honestly wouldn’t really recommend it. The staff were friendly, but overall the menu and pricing didn’t feel worth it for the quality. There are definitely better restaurant options nearby.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed for a night at a Deluxe Double Room ,our 2nd time.. And this time we stayed on the 5th floor where internet connectivity is available. A larger room and has windows that see the road in which public utility transports pass by. Front desk officers and staff are nice and serve with a heart. Will book again whenever I will be back in Cebu City. Thank you Allsons Inn and Trip.com for a comfortable and affordable stay!

TTSFIt is located on the road going up the mountain from the center of Cebu City. The area is developing and there are high-rise apartment buildings, but there are also many very peaceful houses (if you head towards the valley from the guesthouse site, you will see many dugout huts, and although it is not a slum, you will enter an area where people with low incomes live). There is a restaurant nearby, and the food is delicious. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor (shared with the staff, so it smells good at mealtimes). The beds are perfect, there is air conditioning, and the shower has good water pressure, so I think it is the best choice for backpackers. The photo shows the road going down to the valley area mentioned above in the neighborhood. It was a Sunday when I stayed there, so I could see the residents singing karaoke.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this hotel; every aspect shows great care. The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were well-maintained with no signs of damage or wear. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a high-quality sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, with a full set of toiletries provided. The front desk service was professional, efficient, and their attitude was gentle and patient, making you feel very welcome. The hotel's public areas were tidy and bright, and the environment was quiet and not noisy. The location is excellent, convenient for both taxis and the subway. For its type, the value for money is very high. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, and I will definitely stay here again.
