|0.91km from city centerOK it has not good reviews and looks pretty shabby outside. But this place was very pleasant to stay at. $90 for a night and the bed was comfy, very quiet, big spacy room (no 5), very clean, great modern look with appliances, situated in good location. Service on check in was very friendly. Plenty of secure parking. Definitely stay again. Only negative was the water pressure was so slow. That's all

|1.77km from city centerI just checked in today and it’s good for the price, the hotel receptionist Sarah was lovely and kept me well informed. I’m staying for 3 days and everything seems to be in shape. I read a review detailing hotel guest with drug problems, it’s a MOTEL you are going to get good and bad and everything in between in any of these places. There’s drug addicts at the five seasons difference is that they can afford it. Lol

|0.17km from city centerVery budget accommodation. My room was on the 5th floor and had a good comfortable bed. There was an old wardrobe with only 4 coat hangers. I was staying for 7 nights so really coathangers are very cheap so a few more shouldn’t hurt the bottom line. There was a sink, kettle and tea & coffee supplied. There was also a small bar fridge which unfortunately completely froze my orange juice and milk. Asked reception to do something but nothing happened. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. Room was not serviced at all for the full week. Although 2nd top floor quite a lot of noise from establishments in the nearby lane at times, very very late including a few huge arguments. No drawers provided but a few shelves for clothes etc and a small table. Overall quite basic and only suitable if you are only going to sleep and clean up there but offset somewhat by the cheap rate. Probably look for a little better next time.

|0.86km from city centerIt's a motel, and there's also a restaurant and bar next to the front desk. Don't order breakfast. Breakfast is just juice bread that you can buy in some supermarkets. You might as well eat it yourself. The room is huge.

|2.1km from city centerIt's convenient to drive by car. Follow the white road, Maroon*** HWY, and turn left to Victoria RD. Then turn left at Melba HWY and you will be left. It's perfect to avoid the high-speed route for navigation. Hotel facilities feel old, especially the pool is a bit disappointing! The hotel provides a big bed room according to my request! The welcome letters are all in Chinese :) The hotel has a free 3 boxes of instant noodles (although we have not eaten) and three bottles of Italian mineral water! Surprisingly, the four small pieces of chocolate are delicious! All breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the hotel, full western food! Breakfast is included in the room rate, lunch and dinner for two big ones for nearly $300! The nearest winery is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. After the hotel reception has received the voucher, you can go there for free 5 kinds of wine! The tasting staff just happened to be a little girl from Shanghai. I was very kind. I bought 6 bottles of wine (can pay Alipay or WeChat). The next day I took a baby to go to the Wildlife Nature Reserve, which is 18 minutes drive from the hotel. !

|0.84km from city centerThe hotel itself is a very tall building, and the rooms are located on very high floors. The windows overlook the cityscape, which is very sunny! The room design is stylish, with a touch of French style! The room is quite spacious, especially the executive chair in the room, which is very comfortable! The only drawback is that there is not enough countertop to put items in the bathroom! Special praise for the front desk staff. When I checked in, they were very friendly and sincere. They took the trouble to solve my problems and efficiently!

|0.81km from city centerThe only good thing about this place is location: it is within the free tram zone and right next to the Victoria market (there's a great Indonesian restaurant nearby). The rest is full of problems: 1. They don't respond to emails. If they do, they don't answer the questions properly. I had to chase them up quite a few times. 2. The rooms are rather worn out. The arm chair looked too dirty and old that I could not bring myself to put my clean clothes on it. Shower doors are poorly designed - the whole bathroom gets flooded. The holder for the shower head can't be fixed - and difficult to reach. 3. The rooms are noisy (the ones facing the main street). 4. Most importantly however - when I thought I lost my door key (the electronic one) I went to the reception and asked them to cancel it and reissue me a new one. I told the receptionist that the electronic key had a sleeve with the name of the hotel and the my room number so if he did not cancel it, the key could be used to locate and access my room very easily. He then told me he had cancelled my old key and reissued me a new one. I was not convinced the electronic key code for the room had been reset but went to my room in the hope that he was right. I found my original key the next morning and of course it was working. So he had lied to me. If I had lost my key, someone could easily have come in to my room and steal my things or even worse come in when I was there. The key sleeve had all the info - hotel name and room number. He put my life and goods at risk. NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!! Terrible reception staff. Their front desk staff are either poorly trained or inexperienced - this is surely a major management issue. I have work visits planned for Melbourne. Will not be returning to this badly run hotel.

|0.79km from city centerOur whole family loved our stay at Nesuto Docklands and we wished we could have stayed longer. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was lovely. The bathroom was modern and had a large bath which was great for a toddler. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. I liked being able to stream to the TV's from your own device. The location is great being right above a Woolworths. Perfect for any event at Marvel Stadium. The price was also very reasonable given the quality. The carparking was cost effective and easy to find as the hotel sent very good instructions on how to find it. The only slight issue is the hotel reception is a little hard to locate from the carpark and from the street as it's on level 2. Some better signage from the carpark might be beneficial. Overall would definitely stay again.

|2.98km from city centerThis hotel is a hidden gem!
The tram is at your doorstop, which takes you straight into the city. If walking is your thing then it will only take you 25 minutes.
I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Albert Park. My room had plenty of space to set up a work station as well as relax.
The team on the front desk were welcoming and faciltated a speedy check in and out.

|0.85km from city centerArrived at the airport at midnight and stayed here just for a night on arrival.
The room was more spacious than I expected, kind of too big for one person.
Clean enough, comfortable bed, enough amenities.
One thing, when I got to the hotel, the door was locked because the receptionist was out for the airport to drive some guests. I was waiting outside for like 15 min and it was quite chilly. This is the only problem here. Yet, the receptionist was nice and helpful so I’m satisfied with the stay. Thank you.

|2.9km from city centerThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.

West Melbourne
|1.9km from city centerWe chose the Miami because it was very close to the venue we were going to see a live show at. What a gem. Right from our arrival, staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We were given an upgrade that gave as a fabulous view of the city. Our room was large, bed very comfortable, bathroom well appointed (they even had shaving cream), couple of chairs to sit on and, one thing we love, mugs for tea or coffee. Everything was spotless. WiFi was good. There is parking on site at a fee. Some undercover but also spaces for those higher vehicles that can’t fit underneath. There is a guest kitchen which would be great for longer stays. We stayed on a Friday night and had no noise issues. Cafes, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance and a tram stop is just down the road. On our trips into town, we usually stay at a much more expensive hotel but from now on the Miami will be our go to property. Very reasonably priced, great staff and comfortable beds, what more could you ask for?

|1.18km from city centerThis place was a breath of fresh air compared to the last 4 places I've stayed in the area. The place very very clean and tidy, the pictures are very accurate which is rare. Bed was comfy. The lady at the desk even gave me the choice of room if I wanted a room towards the back that would get less traffic noise or one in the middle She even opened them up and showed me. Both were very as clean. Super impressed would 100% come back.

|0.63km from city centerMy wife and I had a nice stay here a few weeks back. It is pretty centrally located and reasonably priced which are the redeeming features. The location and rooms definitely look nicer in the photos, the rooms whilst large and well appointed are very old and worn… dented fridges, damaged furniture, bedside lights that don’t work etc. it’s all perfectly liveable it’s just not what I expected from the photos. Staff were friendly but the place just needs some TLC. If you think this is a nicely restored boutique hotel you’ll be disappointed, but if you’re seeking conveniently located, reasonably priced accomodation with low expectations it will be perfectly suited.

Kew
|0.77km from city centerI don't know why this hotel is rated 4 stars. It is 2 stars at best. We stayed for four nights, and our room was never cleaned. We had to ask for fresh towels on the third day. We emptied the trash ourselves as it became apparent the property does not offer cleaning service. There isn't a coffee maker in the room, and just a couple of forks and a couple of plates. The room itself felt dirty. The main areas of the building, including the entrance and walkways, were littered with leaves and other materials. We informed a cleaner the area needed to be vacuumed and he said it wasn't his job. We informed the front desk, and they simply nodded their heads. There is a language barrier with the front desk staff. I would not stay here given the lack of cleanliness and service. There aren't many choices in Kew, but I would look in Hawthrone or Richmond, which are relatively close to Kew.

|0.66km from city centerStayed here as a Diamond Ambassador in an iconic suite - Check in experience was great, warm welcome, benefits acknowledged and welcome drink provided. Amazing room, ridiculous amount of space, comfortable bed, great little office/working area. Unfortunately, the general level of service/care factor is lacking especially when staying in a room costing over 1k a night! One of my complimentary water bottles was open/used and about half empty, yuck. Later that day I wanted to use my $25 credit on the minibar 200ml bottle of gin (which is listed as inclusive of 4 mixers). Gin was missing from the mini bar I couldn't find it. Called down to reception to ask if it was by request, they assured me it should be there and would send someone up. Waited 2 hours and no one came which frustrated me as I was waiting so called down again and was assured someone was on the way. Someone did arrive with a huge bag full of everything except the gin. When questioned didn't seem to know what I was talking about, I had to point to it on the minibar menu and was met with a very confused expression, he left. Then about 30 minutes later a different person arrives with the gin bottle, success. However upon checkout there were a bunch of mini bar items charged which I hadn't consumed, and in fact were not even missing. I hate having to have that conversation but after only 3 words they were ”happy to remove them” which makes me think this isn't an uncommon occurrence. I later noticed that the mixers were charged as well where as they should have been included with the gin purchase cost, but I couldn't be bothered wasting my time to try and sort it out. Club lounge service was attentive but did fill up and get quite busy in the evenings however my drink was always topped up and the staff there were friendly and engaging. Temperature control seems non-existent in the room and I'm convinced it makes no difference what you set it to. I had my do not disturb on until mid morning, so as I was leaving for the day dropped by reception and said I may have missed housekeeping and could they have someone make up the room. Arrived back a few hours later and it hadn't been done. All up a real mixed bag here, but can't help feel my simple requests were a bother and inconvenience.

|0.09km from city centerBefore returning back home, we spent another 3N here and was upgraded to Yarra River view. Requested for them to change the bedsheet as we felt it was a little dusty. They changed it but the housekeeping forgotten to provide us with a bathroom mat and also left our used spoon on the sink. Overall a pleasant stay but I don’t really have that five star hotel feel in terms of the room comfort level and service quality.

|3.97km from city centerWe were given the impression our stay was in the tower behind the old building however that wasn't the case. Nevertheless the room we were allocated was lovely & clean with lots of space. A couple of issues I had #1: No lift, I'm a Chronic Asthmatic & tried to explain to reception staff that the stairs will be challenging the woman responds ”Oh my it's only on the 2nd floor so it's not that far”. I wasn't sure wither to slap her face or cry but ultimately my partner had to calm me and supported me on the climb.
Issue #2 Upon arrival we were advised the front desk is mand 24hrs, not the case at all. When checking out I waited 30min for someone to show, a cleaner turned up & advised us to leave the key on the desk unattended & to call a certain number, I called just to be told my extra $100 that was paid will be reimbursed in 5 days if not take it up with my bank, her lack of pple skills pissed me off coz she also added ”I'm not at the desk right now Because I'm doing another job in the other motel sorry just leave the key card on the desk please” ... How the F#@* is that my problem i asked myself??. I better get my money back & hopefully not get charged extra if the key go's missing!!🥴.

|4.19km from city centerI booked 10 nights at Pullman Albert Park, and got upgraded into privilege room. It was a pleasant stay. It shares the same facilities (restaurant, gym, pool etc) with Mercure, but it felt more like you're in Mercure than in Pullman. The hotel is a short tram trip to CBD. The tram stop is within walking distance, so it was convenient. I love that it is facing the Albert Park lake, such a vibe! The building is a bit old, but the room was still comfortable. The service was very good, everyone was really friendly. The only downside was that they looked understaff. I had to carry my own luggage when I left, and not many staff were present especially in the restaurant. But, everyone was very helpful! This hotel offers good value for longer stay. It's a perfect place if you want to explore more local activities such as: visiting the markets, exploring the surrounding (you can go to Royal Botanic, National Gallery of Victoria, Shrine of Remembrance), or going to the beach. Thank you for the pleasant experience!

|0.62km from city centerThe only shortfalls - My room did not service on the first night and requests took more than 20 minutes after second follow up calls. However, I appreciated the Duty Manager organizing the amenities and ensuring my room receives service on the next day. However, the next day I placed a card on the bed to request changed linen. But linen did not get changed, glassware has been removed from the room and did not replenish tea bags. Took 3 times to get it right. Positive side - i love design, location and cleanliness. It is a very challenging time for the hospitality industry to hire the right person for the right job. keep it up good work - Housekeeping. I hope my next visit will experience better service.
