|2.18km from city centerI stayed in this hotel at the end of December and it was very nice. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast buffet is a bit sp****, but very good. It takes about 35 minutes to walk to Republic Square in the city center from here, but you can also get there by bus (like 207?). The hotel has a fenced parking lot, which costs 15 Euros, or parked on the side of the road like us (free parking for two hours before 6 pm on weekdays, and free on weekends)

|1.91km from city centerI stayed in the Royal Road Residence with my mom in november. Its amazing location, you can literally get to all main attractions by walking. The old Town Square is just 6 mins walking!!! When you come there is a small sign and you should ring the bell to come inside. Reception is in the 1st floor. The staff were very friendly and caring and offered us some hot drinks. We asked them to give us room with balconu and we were so lucky they still got one! The view was AMAZING!! The only thing it was a little bit noisy during weekend because the crowd never finishes on this street. Breakfast was good, specially fresh waffles with chocolate. We stayed for a week and the cleaning was done twice. I will definately come back to this family residence once I am in Prague.

|2.56km from city centerA lovely traditional hotel in a great location. The hotel is right at the end of the Charles bridge so it’s really easy to get to all of the main sights around the city. We couldn’t believe how quiet our room was considering it’s location. There was lots of choice at breakfast and we particularly appreciated the free tea and coffee that was available all day. The room was spacious, and toiletries and a hairdryer were available. Would recommend.

|1.57km from city centerStayed for 4 nights in june. We had booked a twin room for myself and my son. Prior to arrival we received a message saying that the reception closed at 9pm but we didn't land at the airport until 8.30. We arranged to pick up keys from another hotel this was so easy and hassle free. On entering the room we found that instead of a twin room we had 2 bedrooms. The hotel is really old with some beautiful features and was spotless. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the position of the hotel was perfect for exploring the beautiful city. It was a little bit noisy at night but that was to be expected due to the position but this didn't bother us. There was no air con but both rooms had a fan which was a godsend due to the hot weather. I would 100% recommend this hotel if you are looking for something a little different in a great location and we will definitely be returning.

|3.33km from city centerThe room was filthy and looked really worn down. The headboard was in textile and full of gross stains, the white walls were covered in stains and the lampshades have been beat up and not replaced. Everything felt dirty. The location is quite far from the city. I was fooled by my booking site to think it was closer (not the hotels fault ofc), but the tram is easy to use and cheap. We ordered a taxi via the lobby when we were leaving for the airport. They did not inform us that it was an Uber, not a taxi. Which is fine, but it was just weird they didn't say it beforehand.

|1.65km from city centerStayed for 3 nights, I didn't feel very good. I lived in the top floor of the previous two nights. There was a loft. The big bed was upstairs and the toilet was upstairs. I didn’t say that I climbed up and down every day, mainly because the attic was very short. Sleeping on the toilet should be slightly bent, not to mention my husband 178. He feels very painful! On the last day, I switched to the downstairs. I didn’t even have air conditioning. I was operating on an air-conditioning fan. It was very noisy. Fortunately, it rained down that day, otherwise I really don’t know how to sleep.

|1.76km from city centerBooking from 14/02/2023 to 21/02/2023 for 4 people in BHG APARTMENT We overnight stay in APARTMENT 2 and on 20/02/2023 (dd/mm/yy) from 2 p.m. the water felts in our apartment so we had unease about hygiene and services (cooking included). We talked with reception and they said that we had to wait. At 6 p.m. we called again the reception to search for more information and we waiting until 7:30 p.m. They called us and said that finally we’ve been change our apartment with another. We were really tired (in order to not having a place were we could relax ourselves for hours before go out again in the night). So on, the other apartment was far from the first hotel; far from the central place (OLD TOWN SQUARE) where we want to overnight stay and of what we payed; and it also was in a place not really quite. The apartment was really bad, doesn’t respect the standards of a 4 stars hotel because it was really dirty, smaller, fetiscent and with no services (bidet, terrace, hob, oven…). We hadn’t a room from 2 p.m. if we liked to have a shower, we couldn’t! It was 9 p.m. and we really don’t even know where we had to sleep, where we had to go to the toilet and where we had to put our 6 luggage! The girl who stayed at the reception, Tatsiana, (and her manager too) propose us to have the night free and stay in that bad apartment, and also they will give us a voucher from 200 CROWN (exactly 8 euros) so on we could spend it for a dinner in the terrace with a special sit to admire the view! For what? If we’ve accepted, where we’ve to sleep? Certainly not in that dirty apartment! Obviously we said no and reject her propose (you can’t buy people with money or offer them a voucher from 200 crowns, when they are telling you that don’t have a place to overnight stay!) Over that, she told us that she was already called others hotels looking for a room, but they were all full! And also their sisterhood hotel and their presidential rooms was full! That’s no possibile! There are so many hotels near by Old Town Square! And a real hotel can’t be full on a Monday in February! Hotels always have a spare rooms! After 30/40 minutes a man come to us telling that they found a room in another hotel who was 2 minutes from “Hotel U Prince”! Weren’t it all full?! It was 10 p.m and we were really mad, tired and we couldn’t enjoy our last night in Prague! Leave and learn. I will never recommend this hotel.

|2km from city centerThis is my personal experience in the hotel. Myself my wife and 2 friends stayed here for 4 nights. First off, it's not wheelchair friendly. The hotel itself is on the second floor of the building, our rooms were either side of the reception area. This was noisy at times but not too much. There are no lifts on the premises, everything is accessible by stairs only. Rooms are a great size, although the furniture, at least in our room, could be updated. There is a mini bar, drinks and snacks in the room, all of which must be paid for. Being a holiday destination city they have city tax, about €4 a night per person. What we did not realise was that you must pay a deposit for your stay, around €110 , this is given back to you after you leave if you haven't had anything in the room to eat or drink and no damage is caused. It can take up to 30 days to receive the refund however ours arrived the following day. No issues with food ,personally. Drinks are on average the same as in Ireland but the local beers are cheaper. The hotel website needs Updating as some features are gone ie , the nightclub is not all its cracked up to be. There is noise outside at night, some nights more than others. The location is perfect for site seeing, Charles Bridge is just across the road. If we are back in Prague in the future I'd definitely stay there again. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

|1.73km from city centerThis is my 5th visit to Hotel Salvator. It is a 2* hotel that delivers a 4* experience within that standard. The hotel is centrally located a short walk from the Namesti Republiky metro station. It can be reached easilly from the airport in an hour by taking the 100 bus from the terminal to the Zlicin metro station on the yellow line B. You then take the metro to the Namesti Republiky stop. If you are aged over 65, please be aware that all travel by bus, tram and metro is free and you need only carry your drivers license or passport in case of inspection. No tickets are needed. There is a selection of room types available, ranging from singles to family rooms. All are traditionally furnished and clean. Breakfast can be added to the reservation for a modest charge and the food provided is plentiful and has a good variety. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The a**osphere in the breakfast room is traditional Bohemian and very attractive. There is a lift to the upper floors. The price of rooms is fair and a great bargain off season. The only suggestions I would make would be to find a way to keep the fried eggs fresh (or to have them cooked to order). With regards to the rooms, these are very well heated in winter. I was in double room 7 and the heating in the entrance way could not be turned off, making it very hot for sleeping. There were attic style windows that could be opened and that did cause the temperature to drop to a comfortable level. As some rooms are directly above the street, they are only quiet if the windows are closed. If open, the street noise is very loud as Truhlarska is a very active street. Late night revellers are also very inconsiderate. The rooms above th street at a lower level are very noisy. My suggestion would always be to request a room at the opposite side of the hotel to the street.

|1.01km from city centerThe only positive thing about this hotel is the location. However, there are dozens of other, better hotels in the area. This one is old, tired, and hasn’t been brought up to date since the 80’s. It’s not a horrible place but it’s not anywhere worth the money it cost (week between Christmas and New Year 2022 was $170 per night!!). We were expecting a much nicer place. The wardrobe area was so small that we could hang maybe 4 items. The bathroom didn’t have any sort of curtain or door or glass on the tub and the shower head sprayed about 180 degrees which inevitably soaked the entire bathroom, including the towels, the toilet paper and any clothes you may have brought in. And the floor was flooded. The carpet was at least 30 years old. The mattress was cheap and hard. The temperature in the room couldn’t be adjusted. The front desk staff didn’t speak very fluent English, and were rude. When our room got too cold and we couldn’t adjust the temp, I couldn’t call down to the front desk as the phone didn’t contain any instructions how to do so, and commonly used numbers, 0 or 9, didn’t work. So I had to call them using their outside phone number. When I did, the lady at the front desk barely understood me when I told her the room is too cold and could they send someone to fix the heat? She said “no one here to fix” and hung up on me. I called back and told her that I am a guest here and my room is too cold and to get someone up here to fix it or send us more blankets. That she understood and sent us more comforters. A solution, but not the ideal one. I don’t recommend anyone stay here.

|1.43km from city centerWe stayed at Mosaic House for 3 days on an Eastern European vacation in October with friends (8). It was a fantastic hotel! Beautiful, clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, rooms nicely decorated, and breakfast delicious. The bed was fabulous and the décor eclectic and interesting! The front desk was very helpful in giving directions and helping with taxis. We even got a welcome drink when we arrived. The location was perfect for walking the city and catching the tram or subway. The hotel had a café and lounge area that was very nice. The only minor complaint would be the A/C not blowing cold enough. My husband and I are used to cold A/C. But we were able to open windows and let in the cool night air, so it was fine. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

|1.58km from city centerWe stayed for 3 nights and had a great experience. The hotel is in a great location - you can walk to anything - on a quiet street in the Old Town area of Prague. Very comfortable, old-world charm: high ceilings, large windows that open, grand staircase. Bathrooms are recently updated and the bed was comfortable. Furnishings are more formal than modern, but it goes with the overall hotel atmosphere. Breakfast was included and had a variety of choices, including an automated espresso/coffee bar. Staff were very helpful and accomodating. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a hotel in this area of the city.

|1.91km from city centerSuch a lovely friendly hotel just a short walk from Charles Bridge and very central for all city centre attractions. We stayed a week and walked everywhere. The staff were super lovely and the breakfast was extensive and tasty. The cakes left over from breakfast are available on the bar for free during the day which was a nice touch. Bed was large and comfy. We asked for additional pillows and were provided with memory foam pillows which were fabulous. The rooms are immaculately clean and well serviced with tea and coffee making facilities provided and our room also included a small fridge. Highly recommended. It would be my choice of hotel if we go back.

|1.73km from city centerAdvantages: The location is just opposite the Astronomical Clock. The decoration was not bad, giving a discount card for 15% of the three restaurants downstairs. Disadvantages: Very fatal flaws are particularly noisy! ! ! My friend and I lived on the second floor 220 on April 20th. Every night, people were very loud and noisy, talking, the sound of pedestrians passing by on the street, the crash of the dishes downstairs, and the conversations on the terrace. It is clear that even the smell of the restaurant downstairs can be smelled. There was no sound insulation in the window. We didn’t fall asleep until two o'clock in the night. We could only go downstairs to find the front desk staff. The hotel staff knew that there were frequent complaints from the guests, but we did not fulfill any obligation to inform before we booked and checked in. In the face of our complaints, the staff did not find the source of the noise and did not take any other measures. Just provided us with earplugs. We asked for a change of room and did not receive a response. As a hotel, the most basic function is to provide guests with a quiet and comfortable sleeping environment. However, the experience of staying at this hotel is very poor. My friends and I have not slept almost all night, and we have to catch the train early the next morning. It leads to our physical and mental fatigue. We don't know if there is such a situation in this room where we only live or in every room, but in our experience, it is highly recommended that you set this hotel!

|2.38km from city centerIt’s such a surprise. I live in an old armory for 400 yuan, and the hotel is full of cold weapons. Hahaha. The restaurant is super classic and I enjoyed having breakfast. The front desk is also a bar when I check in. I get coupons that can be exchanged for beer directly when I check in. There is a small park in front of the hotel, and there happened to be a food event when I went there. The area around the hotel is very quiet. I walked to Charles Bridge and Lennon Wall, and crossed the bridge to the Astronomical Clock Old Town opposite. The next morning we had breakfast and walked to Prague Castle. There is no air conditioning in the room, there is a fan, but it is not hot at all and it is very comfortable. There are many minibar items in the room and the price is reasonable. The room card is printed with the manager’s photo hahaha, and there is also her handwritten welcome letter in the room, which is full of details.

|1.85km from city centerI wanted a place that was centrally located so I could walk around for most of my visit. Residence Bene was exactly what I was looking for. Not only was it in a central location, the breakfast they served was good. They offered a good selection of food including a couple of hot options. I didn't interact with the staff much, but when I did, they were very friendly. There is a small bar that is open in the evening, but I didn't use it so I can't say anything about it. The room was a nice size and clean. They use actual keys for the rooms which are also used to turn on the electricity for the room. It was great because I always knew where I left my key. The bed was firm, but I prefer my bed that way so I slept very well. You could hear a bit of noise from the hallway, but overall, I found it quiet enough I was able to fall asleep without the use of ear plugs. They do have quiet hours and I found that people typically followed the rules. All in all, I would stay here again the next time I come to Prague.

|2.58km from city centerThe hotel's location is excellent. It's away from the overcrowded tourist areas, but easily accessible to them via tram or other transportation. The hotel is in an older building with slightly old-fashioned decor, but clean and well-maintained. Buffet breakfast with many choices. If you have difficulty with stairs, inquire directly with the hotel before booking to see if they can accommodate you. We were on the 5th floor and the elevator stops on a landing between floors 4 and 5, requiring using a flight of stairs either up to floor 5 or down to floor 4; not sure if all floors are like this. Plenty of restaurants and mini markets within a 10 minute walk. Also a bus stop and two tram stops close by. If vising the castle, use tram 22 on Vitezna street to avoid a long steep walk up to the castle.

|3.13km from city centerJust returned from a really enjoyable 4 night stay at the Golden Wheel Hotel. Situated on the very picturesque Nerudova Strana in a quiet area of the city, half way up hill (so beware anyone with mobility issues). 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and 5 minutes to the Castle.(at the top of the hill). This is a relatively small and wonderfully quaint hotel with not very many rooms. We (2 couples) were in the top floor of the hotel with rooms opposite to each other. Rooms 411 and 412. This was perfect for us. Plenty of storage space in the rooms, large bathrooms. Room 412 had stand alone shower and 411 had a bath with shower over it. A kettle with a selection of teas and coffee available in the rooms. TIP if you are like me and enjoy English black tea then bring your own tea bags and purchase milk in a supermarket. There is a small fridge to store drinks etc. Hairdryer also available along with travel size Shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads/buds and shower caps. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We were able to get directions/travel route and purchase our tram tickets from reception. Breakfast was perfect for us. Selection of cereal, fruit, spreads. Croissants, bread/toast, pastries, scrambled egg, frankfurters, cold meats and cheese along with fruit juices and tea/coffee. Lactose free and almond milk were provided by hotel. Breakfast was 8am - 9.30 am. We stayed over St Valentines Day and there were two little loveheart boxes of chocolates left by the hotel in our rooms. Very nice touch♥️ Rooms were very warm but there is an air con system if you need it.

|3.79km from city centerWe spent 5 days on our holiday. We got a double room in the 3rd floor as booked. Well, the furniture were very afforded. The telecommand for the TV missed and the TV did not work. We reported that at the reception and have received a better room in the sixth floor. Unfortunately, the wellness applications are very expensive. Breakfast was sufficient and nothing missed. The room cleaning was still not completed 14.30 and the beds looked like the cleaner had rested in it no***al. The bathtub was not cleaned either. Unfortunately, there was no dust sucking, very bad for a 4-star hotel. The deep garage must be logged in before and is very expensive. We would not book this hotel again.
