Budget Inn

Spent two days in Alamogordo, attending the Trinity Site Visit. Quick check-in with a friendly clerk. Lovely room with a great shower. The grounds of the motel are spotless, and provided a safe and quiet place to rest, during our down time. We'll be back for sure!
Hampton Inn Alamogordo

Location wise it’s great. The hotel is pretty clean and organize. The only thing I don’t like is the squeaky floor from upstairs. I think the walls are made of light materials. If your able to booked rooms at the 3 floor your safe otherwise it’s not a ideal place for light sleeper like I do. ☺️
The Classic Desert Aire Hotel

Breakfast is not buffet is American, one person is not much, you can add money to order another meal, health service facilities are good.
White Sands Motel
4.3/5100 Reviews
A wonderful place. Excellent service. I mean really excellent service! I call this out as there was an issue with my reservation. The hotel owner took care of the problem with Expedia even though it cost him a night's lodging. Just really good service and much appreciated The motel is a 50's style design - you drive up and park in front of your room. How long has it been since you did that? My room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The TV had a zillion channels. Remember since this is a 50's design the room is smaller than today's modern Marriott/Holiday Inn/Hilton. Finally, let's talk about value. My cost for one night in mid-June was around $130. A price I got via TripAdvisor. I feel this is great value. A clean, safe, comfortable room. Note the local Marriotts were 2x the price...
Days Inn by Wyndham Alamogordo

Comfortable rooms, cleanliness was top notch, Friendly service throughout! They were more than helpful and courteous to attend to my son's sleep needs. I felt secured while sleeping through the night (I was with my family of wife and child).
Super 8 by Wyndham Alamogordo

Now I understand why Victor [the owner] has a Wyndham award at the front desk. He runs a tight ship. Clean, friendly personnel, excellent value, nice rooms, above average breakfast, and attention to detail. Victor enthusiastically answered questions and offered many suggestions about the area. We would stay here again. We had a family reunion in September 2022 and were here for three nights so it was especially fortunate that we had such pleasant accommodations. (Unlike the awful Super 8 in Cortez NM that we couldn't wait to leave.) Thank you, Victor!
