Hotels in Omonia, Athens

I rarely leave reviews for hotels, but this stay truly exceeded my expectations. Considering it was the cheapest hotel on Trip.com that day, I didn't have high hopes because of the low price. However, the room environment was similar to a domestic Ji Hotel, and the front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was also delicious. It's only about 3 kilometers from the Acropolis, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions in Athens city center. The only slight drawback might be that the street it's on feels a bit desolate, but there's no need to worry as the police station is nearby.

Skylark Hotel Athens offers a generally positive stay, with a few aspects worth highlighting. The hotel, which previously operated under the Brown brand, has retained much of its boutique, design-led style, creating a pleasant and contemporary atmosphere throughout the property. Its location works well for visiting central Athens, and overall it represents fairly good value for the price segment. The guest rooms are relatively compact, so travelers who need a lot of space should keep this in mind. However, the layout makes sensible use of the available area, and the decor and furnishings feel modern and comfortable, making it suitable for short city trips. In terms of noise and cleanliness, the experience was satisfactory and allowed for a restful night. From earlier visits, the breakfast stood out as a strong point, with notably high quality and variety for this category of hotel. On the most recent stay, breakfast was not tried, so it is not possible to judge whether the previously high standard has been maintained. In summary, Skylark Hotel Athens is a good option for guests seeking a stylish base in Athens with a reasonable price-to-quality ratio.

Best location, the outside restaurant and bar on the first floor are available for the best value for money. Three single beds including me, gorgeous, delicious breakfast was impressive.

The Hotel in general looks good and not bad, the location are close to the metro station but its to busy and might not be the best locations for families, there is some homeless around and some street are not that clean, I won't recommended you to take the standard room with no view, its too small and there is no sun light at all. The unit isolation to be honest is bad, you will properly hear every one step in the corridor or in other rooms. The breakfast is fine, but it does not worth the value.

We booked two rooms with family. The location was in the middle, so the price was a bit high. Breakfast was only for one person, which was a bit stingy. We would definitely book again next time, but perhaps choose the city center option. The service was very attentive, and the surrounding area was very quiet.

4 mins away from the nearest station which is alright for it's price. I stayed here for one night so it was okay, I tried booking a transfer to the port and it was quite expensive (28 euros) I think rather just book an Uber next time!

We get the room with the outdoor bath. The room was better than expected with two balconies instead of one as advertised. We get a very warm welcome. Easy check-in and check-out process with all info (access code, travel tips, nice restaurant...) sent through WhatsApp. Easy communication with the reception from Whatsapp. Amazing staff. They kindly offer an extension free of charge for a late check out at 6:30pm. So it was very pleasant and helpful for us to get a shower prior our flight. Thank you so much!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's right in the city center, within walking distance of the metro. You can see Omonia Square from the window. There's an amazing Greek restaurant and various cafes nearby, and it's not far from the Attica shopping center and a pedestrian street. The hotel itself is in the economy segment, but very decent. It has two elevators, and the balconies are a particularly nice touch. The breakfasts are good. What was disappointing was the lack of a kettle in the room and no way to get hot water for tea in the evening. There were also no mugs in the room. There is a fridge and a safe. The bed linen is clean, and the bathroom is clean. There wasn't a dental kit. Overall, for 2-3 days, it's a good, clean, budget-friendly option!

The service was very good. The child spilled water on the bed at night, so the waiter changed it to a new one. The room was facing the street, so it was a little noisy, but the balcony of the room had a view of the square outside, with many pigeons flying around. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the market, which is very convenient. There are supermarkets and large shopping malls nearby.

Dave Red in Athens is definitely a hotel with character! If you want to stay somewhere not so ordinary, then this is your choice. The hotel's public spaces and rooms are extremely clean and very tastefully designed with a nod to the building's historical past. The colour palette is in contrasting dark/red tones which gives it unique atmosphere. The main highlight of my room was the super comfy bed and the balcony with a street view. In terms of the size, the room wasn't the biggest but more than enough for a single person. I would like to especially emphasise the staff of the hotel who were extremely helpful, spoke fluent English and gave valuable recommendations. It felt like they really care about their guests' comfort and want them to have best experience in Athens. All the amenities were top notch: breakfast, gym (small but functional), iron and ironing board on request, and a little rooftop space with a communal hot tub😍
