The staff and Location make this joint. The rooms are very good, large and well maintained, The Pool Villas are private and whilst at the moment they have some construction going on, you honestly would not know. The staff will run you into Lovina beach proper every day, and quite a few venues will come and pick you up and drop you back. The only downside to this place is the food. They need to get back to basic and serve the wonderful dishes that people travel to Bali for, forget the westernized menus of Burgers and Ribs etc. Serve a more traditional menu, Breakfast was pretty good. But the restaurant was the only reason this place did not get 5 stars. The staff are the best asset this place has.. a very relaxing time in Lovina, fix the Restaurant and you have a 5 star property in every way. Lovina is very laid back, no yells of ”transport” or ”taxi” no hassling from eager vendors, some polite questions as you walk past an outlet, nothing more.. A great spot for a chill out.

Stayed at Brits Resort Lovina in preparation for my wedding; having our WO, MUA, and Photographer coming all around our rooms. The space in the room really made us still feel comfortable even having people coming in / out our rooms. Service was great, room was immaculate despite being slightly outdated, public areas including garden, main pool, and pathway to beach were spacious, and breakfast was decent. Highlight would most probably be the Restaurant team who assisted us during breakfast. We were informed that breakfast opened at 07.00 but I needed to be up and got ready early. Therefore, I visited the breakfast restaurant at 06.30 hoping just to get some breads in preparation for my big day. Instead, they opened the buffet early for us and gave us full breakfast service. This is really appreciated. Thank you Brits Resort Lovina team and we are looking forward for our next stay.

I was a very first guest of Cicada Ubud, an Autograph Collection by Marriott Bali Ubud and I came here for the staycation on August 22, 2024. First, from the arrival side review, the review result was excellent and beyond expectation, i was warm welcomed and greet by the General Manager Ibu Reka from the main door of the lobby hotel, this was making me so special, valued and having so memorable arrival experience with Autograph Brand, especially with Cicada Ubud. Also a huge thanks to Ophan, Kartika, and Ina from the front office and guest service, the check in process was so excellent and flawless. I also enjoyed my welcome drink made from a refreshing butterfly pea , its very refreshing, warm and pampering welcome experience of Cicada Ubud. This is a hidden gem for a serene hideaway for a couple traveller. Truly a huge and tremendous guest recognition also coming from Gus Ari, Kris, Ratna, Agus Wira, Angga Permana, Chacha, Candri, Anie, Dewi, Ace, Yumi, Satra Yana and all front office team during the arrival. Then, from the bed room and bathroom side review, the review was also excellent. I love the idea of the bed room and bath room which made us unite with the serene of nature. A tremendous and huge thanks also for our welcome amenity in our room villa, i love the magnificent and wide panoramic view in our room villa. The bathroom and bed room cleanliness also exceed expectation, as the bed was so fresh and clean and the bathroom also clean and spacious. In terms of space, the bedroom villa was so spacious and so fresh, i can easily enjoy the fresh and clean air of Ubud and still the bed room was so clean and fresh, thanks to exceeded services from the Housekeeping team and Wayan Candriani as well. Definitely an intimate serene hideaway retreat for a couple traveller. Also from the food and beverage side review, the review was also excellent. I love my time when having a meal and peaceful retreat at Verdant Restaurant and Tangelo Restaurant. A huge and tremendous thanks to Suta, Novy, Dony and Tria , as she serve me as a family, as a very closed family, and this is an asset for the hotel, they serve from the heart, and they serve me like their family. From the food quality and food taste side review, the review result was also excellent, Autograph Hotel is a premium brand, but Cicada, Autograph Collection Ubud put a great value of the food taste and quality as same equal with a luxury brand level, a tremendous and huge special thanks to Chef Buda, Dewa Putu, Elma and Putu Rama the Bartender at Tangelo Restaurant who always bring the quality and food level of Cicada Autograph Collection Ubud in to Luxury Brand level, awesome and always go exceed my expectation. We do also love the ambience of our dinner time in Tangelo Restaurant especially a special dinner with balinese dance entertainment, absolutely will do coming back again even only stoping by for a memorable diner experience in Sebatu Tegal Alang area. We spent 3 nights at Suites Room 103 and got a memorable experience here. This property has a good vibe, good amenities, and perfect staff. They always smile and offer help for anything you need. The reception goes beyond warm and helpful: they order a suprise cake for my son's birthday! What I love the most is the villa’s pool is so spacious and perfect. They have infinity pool that simply breathtaking! The breakfast is tasty, and they have many options, for lunch and dinner too. Overall, it was really great! We will definitely come back again.

Visited Amandari in March 2024 with my husband and had the most splendid stay. The hotel and the rooms are absolutely stunning and I love the small touches throughout the room and property. The food was great and each meal was better than the last. I absolutely loved the signature Aman cocktails they had to offer. Love the shuttle service from the hotel to the Ubud market, makes it really convenient to step out. The location of the property is really stunning with the view of the valley and convenience to Ubud market, other sightseeing spots. We took the tours to Bali bird and reptile park, some temples and waterfalls, etc. through Aman and were extremely happy with the guides. Mega who was our guide was so sweet and informative and really went out of the way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Also definitely recommend the spa, one of the best massages I have had. Siwi was my therapist and was amazing! Michel (GM) is so delightful to meet and always a pleasure to talk to! All the staff were so sweet and helpful and would go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met, including at the reception when it came to organising our tours or the restaurants to cater to our food requirements. Will most definitely be back!

The direction and road leading to the resort can be tasting especially at night. Narrow road and no streetlamp. It's a sanctuary by itself and it's excellent just to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Far from any amenities and it's inconvenient to move around. Private chartered car is a must; no Grab no Gojek; unless you take local taxi booked via hotel. Moving from room to lobby and dining areas requires much walking up the slope/stairs (cos the hotel is like perched on hil). You can ask for a buggy service (they have 2) and are subject to waiting time if many requests. Room was splendid and view was canopy. WiFi was strong. Room came with complimentary packs of chips and 3 cans of soft drinks. Toilet has no door and showering could be cold cos of air-conditioning. Breakfast was simple. Buffet spread of basic menu like drinks and pastries. One could order from menu. I find this was good cos less wastage Overall, resort personnel were polite and attentive!

It’s not a bad hotel. To summarize I’ll write pros and cons- Pros- service, quiet area, amazing staff, very helpful. Specially Dewi, Arira or similar best staff ever. This hotel people only come for the service but everything else is just below average. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. But this experience made me do so. Cons- Wi-Fi doesn’t work! Even after asking the IT guy who said he’ll do something but actually didn’t do anything. As it had speed or 3mbps and kept on dropping. - Buffet breakfast - very average, the staff tries hard to please you. But the food is very very average. I mean not even 1 proper bakery items. Balinese coffee just doesn’t cut it. I’ll give it a rating 3/10. - Rooms are basic, pretty old, beds make squeaking noise, suites have nice view but everything looks old. - There is no afternoon tea although there is a sign in the lobby that states there is. - shuttle only runs twice a day 11am and 4pm. This hotel is about 8kms away from Ubud main shops. And the shops around the hotels aren’t many. - Spa at hotel - OMG don’t even try it! I had booked and got this oldish lady “Ayu”. Who basically was just touching my body and not even putting any effort. I literally had to leave the massage after telling her about 10 times to put more pressure. And then she tried to charge me for the whole hour which I disputed and then she said ok I’ll charge you for 30mins. I asked her if she has another staff which I did see when I started the massage. And she says no we don’t have anyone. Worst massage ever!!! - You must rent a bike to enjoy if you do decide to stay in this hotel. - Food and beverages are expensive compared to shops around the place but the service is amazing. For example an Ice coffee is $5.50AUD which is what I get in Australia. And veggie Pizza is around $10. Bring your wall plug converter if you are staying at this place. Villas were amazing as due to great staff I got to see inside them. Suites- are just standard bedrooms with balconies. Rooms have jet pumps to wash ur bottom, has hair dryers, small empty bar fridge. House keeping staff are amazing. The shuttle to Ubud shops you must book them before hand. There is a river that runs but you won’t be able to see it as the small trees that grew around it has blocked all the view. Pool is small but nice, there are towels and hot shower options. - TV only has channels which aren’t in English and the network is so bad that you can’t even watch it. Very old TV’s in suites. - you can rent small scooters for about 100k IDR from hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful with lovely little details. Afternoon tea was a lovely touch. A la carte breakfast was delicious. Staff were so helpful at all times, nothing was too much. Pool facilities lovely. Overall a very relaxing and calming hotel but still in the middle of Ubud. Would definitely stay again!

Money value. Complete amenities. Rooftop pool. Perfect location. Lot of food and shop around. Spacious room for two people. Clean. Staff is professional and quick response. Maybe can improve the breakfast for more various menu. And if you driving car, the parking area is small and the road traffic in front of the hotel is stressful.

This establishment was really welcoming and the staff are so warm. The room was comfortable and clean; the quietness and serenity of the surrounding makes this hotel unique. They care a lot about their guest and how their feel, during my last day I didn’t go down for breakfast and they called my room to ask if I wanted to have breakfast in my room and that was thoughtful.
