We stayed 7 nights in this historic hotel and celebrated a special occasion during our trip. The hotel is truly beautiful & elegantly decorated, however the service levels were inconsistent and sorely disappointing for a hotel of this standard & price. Also, there was unfortunately no special factor that made this hotel memorable. Rooms - we booked a classic double room for 3 people & got upgraded to a deluxe room on a high floor. While I appreciated the upgrade and the room decor was beautiful, the bathroom (while spacious) was in visible need of refurbishment. The paint was badly peeling in certain parts, the closet doorknob came off on our third day, the glass shower door wouldn't close fully so the bathroom got wet during a shower. I'm not expecting a newly renovated room but for the price, the room should at least be in good working condition. Housekeeping - was very inconsistent and there was a severe lack of attention to detail. Some examples: - Upon check in, the room curtain was unhooked from the first hook and messily hanging - it took 3 days for housekeeping to finally notice & fix this. - For the entirety of our stay, all room amenities were provided for 2 (not 3) people despite us having booked & paid for 3 people. - Used wine glasses & water mugs were not washed for several days until we called housekeeping to do so. - On several days, I came back to my luggage having been moved haphazardly (I think they were trying to make up the extra bed) and not put back in its place. - Turn down service was done beautifully on some days and not at all on other days. Rooftop terrace - was a gorgeous place to dine, food was excellent and the service was lovely. We felt very welcome here and it was a real treat dining here! Definitely try the rooftop terrace at least once! Front desk, concierge and bellman were excellent. The concierge was helpful with dining recommendations and guest relations gave us a cake for the special occasion we were celebrating. The bellman was attentive to get us taxis & always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast - is definitely worth a try! The breakfast room is beautiful and the drawing room leading to it is so regal & gorgeous. Generous spread of food & service was warm as well. Amar - dined here & paid over 400 euros but it was a shockingly disappointing experience. The bread, starters, petit fours & decor were wonderful - but the 200 euros of seafood we ordered was not fresh at all and the service was disinterested & careless. We were abit shocked at how bad it was for a Michelin restaurant. Bluesman cocktail bar - did not try. There's a 50 euro per pax minimum spend but perhaps this could be waived for hotel guests who are already paying a lot for a room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but felt greatly let down by the service standards at this otherwise lovely hotel. Unfortunately, I highly doubt I'd return here again but sincerely hope the hotel improves its service standards to match its elega

We stayed in three, two adults and one boy, the clean environments. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable to take the metro and especially to walk to Barcelona (we never took the metro, always walked ). Someone wrote that there is the problem of light, there were electrical staples in our apartment, so there was no problem. In the end, if we were to go back to Barcelona, we'll be back here ...! The only thing I didn't like, is the lead that they put on the boy's single bed in the living room, was sleeved with candle and seemed not very clean ... for the rest super satisfied!

The hotel is very good, very private, but you need to check-in across the road. If you go in and find the room on the B floor, it is more complicated to take the elevator up and down, and it is easier to take the stairs. There is no hot water bottle in the hotel, you can ask the front desk if it can be provided.

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel a while back on our vacation. We had read good reviews, so didn’t expect anything bad but the hotel is pretty central in Barcelona and at a very reasonable nightly rate. Even so, our room was nice, modern, clean, and had just enough space for the two of us. It was right by the street and we had a small balcony that allowed us to step out — it could be a little noisy during the day, but that’s just a function of being in a city. I remember us being a bit disappointed by the restaurant attached, but beyond that it was a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, and had no issues safely storing our luggage for a few hours after checking out before we went to the airport.

Visited the hotel for 4 nights in june 2022. We spent a bit of time on the beach but mostly exploring the sights of the city.. Really well positioned hotel.. very central for sagrada familia cathedral gothic quarter etc.. short walk to L3 metro stop. The room was clean and comfortable.. not massive or luxurious but fine for our needs.. we didnt bother with breakfast except on the last day.. this is a standard continental speead with fruits toast cereal and chees although there was also bacon and scrambled eggs.. there are lots of nice places to eat out nearby and a little shop just outside to get drinks and snacks.. Probably the best thing was the staff.. all really freindly and helpful and patient with my attempts to speak spanish! There is a little terrace at the back with some sunbeds and a tiny swimming pool.. we only went once but found beds easily enough and its v nice to have that as a place to relax after a long day on our feet going around the sights.. One other good thing.. i stupidly left a jacket hanging up in the room and they were super quick and efficient in replying to emails and getting it sent on to me.. Overall strongly reccomend as a base for a short sightseeing city break.. muchos gracias.

The hotel is on the second floor and the first floor looks like a general apartment. On the second floor, open a very large door and go in.

Excellent location: From the area of Catalonia (Aerobus stop) 5 minutes to the place to receive the keys (all appearance passwords are sent on the e-mail the day before) and another 7 minutes to the guest house. Located on the 2nd floor in an old elevator house, even if the elevator is not working, to climb low. The room has everything you need: a refrigerator, a fan, a air conditioner, a small set of cosmetic appliances. In the common zone - microwave, teapot and tea bags, coffee, sugar. Towels change every day, bed linen - once every 3 days. The room in January was cool and slightly humid, but the blankets are warm, in the bath heat, hot water heats quickly. In room 6 the window is small, goes to the yard mine, but for winter it is normal. Wi-Fi is fast. There are lots of shops and bakeries nearby. It is easy to walk to everything - Sagrada, Gothic quarter, Nord motorway station, but also all transportation in 5-minute availability. If summarized - a good and simple option for positive.
