"The hotel's location is excellent, with the subway station and airport bus terminal right downstairs and nearby. The most unique feature of the hotel is its historical elevator, which is an old-fashioned, open-gate elevator that allows you to see outside. The room size was very small, and the shower head in the bathroom leaked. The room didn't really have a window; a small window on the left side overlooked the next room, and another small window faced an air shaft, so there was basically no sunlight. What's worth praising is that after checking out, I returned to the hotel to pick up my luggage and mentioned that I had forgotten some drinks and snacks in the fridge. I wasn't too bothered if I couldn't get them back, as they weren't expensive items. However, the staff went above and beyond to help me search for them, and they actually found them! It turned out the housekeeping staff had already packed them in a plastic bag. This was truly amazing! They didn't just help because the items were valuable; they simply helped because I asked."

"A Week in Barcelona — Staying at Hotel Serhs Del Port (Early February) Spending a week in Barcelona in early February felt relaxed and unhurried, and staying at Hotel Serhs Del Port played a big part in that. Overall, it was a comfortable base with a few details that really stood out—both good and not so good. I was very lucky with my room placement. My room faced the patio, which meant it stayed wonderfully quiet. The window didn’t look out onto the main street or neighboring buildings, and that made a big difference—especially at night. After long days out in the city, coming back to that calm felt like a small luxury. The breakfast was another highlight. The selection was good and varied, with both cold and warm dishes, pastries, and a fresh orange juice extractor that felt especially fitting for Spain. It was easy to start the day well-fed without needing to think too much about it. I also really appreciated the coworking space. It was pleasant and functional, and I found myself using it often. Having a comfortable place to sit and work without retreating to the room made the stay feel more balanced and productive. The staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, were consistently friendly and helpful. Interactions felt natural and unforced, which always makes a hotel feel more welcoming. Location-wise, the hotel was very convenient. La Rambla was only about a 4–5 minute walk away, close enough to be easily accessible but far enough to avoid the constant noise. The surrounding area was lively in a good way, filled with restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, making daily life simple and flexible. That said, there was one downside that was hard to ignore: the walls were thin. I could clearly hear the snoring/ coughing of the gentleman in the neighboring room, which definitely broke the illusion of privacy on some nights. All in all, Hotel Serhs Del Port offered a comfortable, well-located stay with thoughtful touches and friendly service. A quieter room placement made a big difference—but thinner walls are something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper."

The rooftop is absolutely amazing, with a beautiful atmosphere and views. The food was also excellent, and the meat tacos were definitely my favorite honestly, some of the best I’ve had! Great experience overall, and I would definitely come back."

"When I checked in, they asked if I was a member for a potential upgrade. I gave them my member number and was asked if I preferred a city view or a sea view. I chose sea view, but they gave me a room that was definitely not a sea view, claiming it was an upgrade. I then checked my booking and realized my original room type didn't specify a city view, meaning I could have chosen a sea view anyway. The main issue is they gave me a non-sea view room and still insisted they upgraded me to a sea view. I contacted Ctrip twice, but nothing was resolved, and even their customer service agreed with my frustration towards the hotel. You can see in the video below whether this is a sea view room. Honestly, if they didn't want to upgrade me, they could have just said so, and I wouldn't have forced them. The problem is they didn't upgrade me but still expected me to be grateful for an 'upgrade' to what they called a 'sea view room'."
