We enjoyed our stay at the Bettei Haruki. All their staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.
We loved the private onsen in our room.
The only negative point, if we have to mention one, is the toilet, which had a strange smell hanging around all the time.

This Japanese hot spring hotel in Beppu is definitely a good choice for those who like Japanese style. You can also choose a semi-open-air private bath. There are many styles of women's yukatas, choose your favorite. The welcome snacks are also very exquisite, and the service of the store staff is warm. The tatami is thick and does not cause back pain at all. The river opposite the hotel is also a beautiful place for taking photos
