I was whisked away to old world opulence as I walked into Le Plaza. The ornate chandelier, intricate carpet, and polished seating created a luxurious atmosphere. I was greeted by a friendly night front desk staff member named Ashley. He checked me in quickly and let me know that I could order something to eat if I was hungry. The elevator ride up to my room was a delight. The hallway was decorated in a vintage style, and my room, 534, felt like a miniature villa. The bathroom was gorgeous, and it had all the amenities I needed. It was a bit of a mix of vintage and modern, with a flat screen TV. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in a lot of natural light, and I woke up feeling luxurious every morning. The food at Le Plaza was delicious. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The service was also excellent. I never had to wait long for anything, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. I injured myself during my stay, and Ashley and the other night staff member, Luis, were very helpful. They gave me first aid supplies and helped me get ice for my injury. I was very grateful for their help. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Le Plaza. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The location of the hotel is great. It's in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions The hotel offers a variety of room types, so you can find the perfect one for your needs. Stayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.

Location was good, room size is perfect for our small family. Love the services that the hotel provides, super fast and efficient, and fuss free. Hotel even provide lounge area, where hotel guests can go there for a small drink and some appetiser for free. I think every hotel should have such service provided, it is just super nice and welcoming back to the hotel. When we were there, it was raining and hotel staff was even offering us in house umbrella for us to use, and we returned it once we are back at the hotel. Room was a tab bit dark at some corners, but otherwise all is good. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely visit again when we are back in Brussels.

The location is very good, right next to the grand place. However, the rooms are old and need to be updated. The sink in the bathroom and the woodwork had cracks. The corridors were dark and dingy. The lamps or coffee machine have to be disconnected to be able to charge one’s devices. There are no adapters or usb ports. The day we arrived, the bell boy was on holiday, so there was no one to help with the bags. The front office staff, other than the most junior of them, seemed totally disinterested. The room was hot in the night and the aircon panel did not work. When we told the front office staff that the air conditioning didn’t work adequately, they didn’t even acknowledge what we were saying, let alone offer any explanation or apology. The breakfast was fine, but the staff again showed very little interest in even asking if we wanted a cooked breakfast. Wouldn’t recommend.

Blown away by this hotel! From the moment we arrived we were charmed - the hotel is gorgeous, the staff are helpful friendly and attentive in all areas. We had a lovely room with a welcome gift for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t dine in the evening as the restaurant was closed at the weekend but the reception staff were helpful in recommending places to visit. It’s located near the European Parliament and close to the bus route so we found it a great location. A 20 min walk to the Grand Place but an enjoyable and beautiful walk.

A warm and very clean no-frills hotel close to the centre of Bruges. Great location close to many restaurants and a short walk from the main square. Friendly helpful staff. Basic room layout, plastic sinks etc. but clean and warm. Nice bar and breakfast option. Parking in adjacent underground public car park, with lift access to hotel courtyard. A good city centre option for a short stay.

We arrived on EuroStar in Brussels Midi and did not have a good impression of Brussels at first (note to self, next time take the metro or over ground train (operator IC) to Brussels Central which is literally five minutes walk down the slight hill to the Novotel hotel. We finally found the hotel literally 200 yards from the main square (Grote Markt). What a lovely welcome when we got to reception. The receptionists were just lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Embarrassingly their English was just so good. The restaurant employees were very welcoming too and they paid the appropriate attention when required, they too were great. The breakfast chef also came out periodically and topped food up which was good to see. Housekeeping was great and one morning the room service assistant had actually realised we had gone to breakfast and made our room up while we away at breakfast. Location - this hotel couldn't be better placed. Grand Square literally 200 yards away, Grand Central station five minutes walk (if that) up a slight hill. Summary - I would stay at the Novotel (off Grand Place) on a future visit without hesitation. A really well appointed and well placed hotel with really lovely friendly staff. Coming from the trade we appreciate the total effort the staff put in and thank them very much for making our stay so welcoming.

Probably the worse experience check-in so far! We arrived early and asked politely to the staff what time is the check-in, this particular staff name Tobe M. was very rude and responded at 3pm. So we went around town and came back at 2:50pm to check-in, this staff was very unfriendly saying it was not 3:00pm yet, eventually he let us in. But overall the check-in experience was such a nightmare. Breakfast was good though.

Really great stay at this very pleasant and nicely located hotel. We used this as our base having travelled across on Eurostar. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. Like all European main stations it’s a bit seedy around the adjacent area but we felt safe. The MIDI station also has an amazing array of shops to hand if you just want a quick snack or get breakfast while on the move. Hotel was clean and the air con was amazing given this was two of those baking 38degree days! Only minor criticisms were the towels were very small for a modern hotel, the maid service is often late (although we were on top floor so perhaps last!) and breakfast very expensive (but see earlier comment) - none of which affected my scoring.

Except for the towels, there are no toiletries, slippers, no hot water bottles, and no shelf in the bathroom. We ordered a family room with two single beds downstairs and a double bed upstairs. But the location is still ok. It takes only three minutes to walk from Congres station, but there are few trains at this station. You must be mentally prepared. It takes eight minutes to walk from the centraal station to the hotel. A three-minute walk from this hotel is a lively pedestrian street. Mango.betshka primark and several shops selling sneakers are there, even Uniqlo Zara hm. This street is good for shopping. Three minutes walk from this street is the Grand Plaza. There are several big supermarkets near this street.

Good room, good atmosphere, good service, the breakfast was good and the lunch as well was good. I had a good room with nice cleaning staff, a first time experience in a hotel, and I really liked it. A coming back for sure. No such major issues found. Just minor one, if we could only have a mat on the floor in the bathroom, that would be nice else I used the foot towel for it. I was satisfied and I recommend the hotel for friend, couple or single person.

Location was good, breakfast was good.Room,which not facing the main street was Ok.In the beginnig of our vacation we had a room facing main street.It was extremly noisy and hot.Hotel doesn”t have AC.So on the hot days you can”t even open the window because of noise. The reception people were very nice and very helpful for any question and problem.Especially I would like to thank Mercedes,Ettienne and Rashid. Somebody mentioned the pillows - I agree,time to change it. But overall it was Ok.

We stayed in a studio apartment for 4 nights, the room had everything we needed. Bed was a pull out bed, comfortable, we asked for extra pillows and they were in the room waiting, bathroom and toilet are separate but still private, small Juliet balcony, handy for letting in fresh air, noisy outside but to be expected due to location, once the door was closed there was no issue. Metro right outside, super market across the road, 5 min walk to main square. Customer service was brilliant, very friendly, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even when they were busy. About a 15 min walk from Centrum train station. There are a few homeless people near the location but never caused and issue for us other than pity, really could not fault the place and special thanks to the guy who was on Friday the 27th of august , didn’t get his name but he was super helpful!!
