Jetwing Colombo Seven is a remarkably comfortable and stylish city hotel in Colombo. The overall design is modern and minimalist, with an open and airy feel. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the bedding is soft, making for a truly relaxing stay. Kingsbury hotel is in a prime location closer to the beach activities. Some rooms are with sea view. Shopping mall is nearby that offers variety of shops and services. Restaurants provide wide selection of food options with local and international cuisines. The rooms are carpeted which emits old odour. The room furniture needs modernising. We experienced issues with booking. They couldn’t find our booking and gave us a room in a lower floor and the furnitures were old with smelly carpet. On my complaint, we were upgraded to a suite room in a higher floor which was classy and the view was excellent. Don’t know I can afford to stay in a suite. The staffs were helpful. I didn’t have a chance to use all amenities but I noticed there were many options. I will stay again if I am given a room in a higher floor or if I can afford a suite room.

Let me start with a few downsides: for a five-star hotel, there was no liquid hand soap, only bar soap. The toiletries were also very basic, small plastic bottles. We had to specifically ask for bathrobes and the low-quality disposable toothbrushes. The soundproofing was terrible; every time someone knocked on the opposite door, I felt like they were knocking on ours. The good points are: we were given two bottles of cinnamon drink upon arrival, the pool is beautiful, and the gym is decent. Apparently, haircuts are free, though I didn't try it, and there's a sauna too. We paid an average of over 600, and the taxes were quite high, so the value for money wasn't great in comparison. Oh, and the service was quite slow; we had to wait 10-20 minutes even for toothbrushes.

The hotel is quite new and has all the necessary facilities. The breakfast is abundant, and the location is excellent. If you're lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunset, it's worth every penny. However, the hotel's construction quality is a bit subpar, and the decor lacks a bit of taste, which is why I didn't take any photos of the room or the lobby.

Very lovely stay at cinnamon red. Check in: I arrived pretty early - luggage storage and early check in once rooms were available no problem. Very friendly. Room: very clean and nice, great view Room service: extremely friendly, even asked me on the floor if everything was fine. Location: perfect. Walking distance to all sights (if you are used to a bit of walking) Gym: amazing. Super well equipped Pool and bar: great view from the rooftop. I stayed in the Premium City View King Room this time, and as soon as I entered, I was amazed by the spacious, bright room and exquisite decor! The room's cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the city skyline at night outside the window was absolutely stunning – perfect for photos! The hotel environment is elegant and tranquil, with modern and comprehensive facilities. From high-speed Wi-Fi to the smart control panel, every detail reflects high-end quality. The service was exceptional – the front desk staff were welcoming and efficient, room service was prompt, and the concierge even thoughtfully recommended nearby restaurants and attractions. Even on a business trip, I felt the warmth of home. Whether for a business trip or a leisurely getaway, this place perfectly meets all needs. A good value hotel . Nice pool on the roof with a nice bar. It's in a very convenient location, near the Bambalapitiya railway station and some decent shops. Unfortunately the service was poor , they would take the towels away whilst cleaning the room and not replace them, I had to keep chasing the cleaners and reception to get towels . The balcony door had no lock or latch in it so it was open all the time and at night time that let the mosquitos in . Overall though it was value for money .
