Hot Springs Hotels in Hunan, China

Our last stop this Chinese New Year holiday was Fenghuang! After being on the road for half a month, I wanted to find a hotel with hot springs for everyone to relax, so I chose this Wyndham. I've stayed at Wyndham properties before, like the one in Baise and another in Songpan County, and always had a great experience. This Fenghuang Wyndham was no exception; it truly felt like a home away from home. Both the facilities and service were top-notch. First, let's talk about the hardware. The room was spacious and came with a balcony and a bathtub. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers, the hairdryer seemed to be a Laifen, and the toiletries had a sweet fruity scent that the kids absolutely loved. There were over 60 hot spring pools – not even enough time in one evening to try them all! Now for the software: the doormen were proactive and helpful, and even the security guard directing parking went out of his way to find us a good spot. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. They proactively invited us to add them on WeChat, clearly communicating all important information there, which was very convenient. They even arranged complimentary breakfast for our three children! Speaking of breakfast, the rice noodles were absolutely delicious 😋 Overall, the service here truly enhances the Wyndham brand! Oh, and there's a downhill path right outside the hotel that leads to the windmill spot in Fenghuang Ancient Town in just six or seven minutes on foot. No need to drive or take a taxi, perfectly avoiding traffic jams ✌

The host was incredibly nice and responsive. The room was well-equipped, and the cleanliness was top-notch, which made for a very comfortable stay. The area was quiet and peaceful, the space was bright and spacious, and everything was clean. It was also conveniently located for getting around. Overall, it was a great experience.

Wonderful stay with amazing hot springs and outstanding service I had an excellent stay at this hot spring hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The entire property was very clean and well maintained, which made the experience even more relaxing and comfortable. The hot springs were fantastic — peaceful, soothing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. What really made this hotel special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, professional, and polite. I would especially like to thank Cherry, who stood out for her kindness, patience, and willingness to help with everything. She made us feel very welcome and taken care of from the beginning to the end of our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing place with hot springs and truly excellent service. I would definitely love to come back again!

You absolutely have to choose the giant screen cinema king room here; the movie experience is fantastic. The breakfast is also incredibly rich and varied, and for Fenghuang Ancient Town, the room is quite spacious. It's much quieter than the ancient city itself, making it the perfect choice for light sleepers.

The hotel is located within the Dehang Miao Village scenic area. From the moment we placed our reservation, the front desk lady immediately contacted us and created a group chat. She also purchased tickets for the village in advance and met us at the entrance, carrying our luggage directly to our room. The moment we entered the room, we were completely captivated. The view from the balcony was like a painting: the bamboo forest, stream, and wooden buildings were breathtaking. The cleanliness was incredibly reassuring. The bedding, bathroom, and every nook were immaculately clean. The room also featured exquisite Miao embroidery and Miao silver. The most amazing thing was the service. The hotel delivered breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening sweet soup to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. This trip to Xiangxi was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Staying here felt just like home. I booked the hotel the night before, and a staff member (a young man) added me on WeChat to tell me about the local area and how to get good deals on tickets. On the day of my stay, they noticed we hadn't arrived yet and promptly contacted us, asking if we needed to reserve a chef. When we finally got there, I saw two young men waiting at the entrance; it turned out they were waiting for us, concerned we might get lost. Since I hadn't bought a ticket to enter the scenic area, the hotel even arranged a car to take me to a photo spot for some pictures. The service was personalized and one-on-one. The young lady at the front desk was also incredibly patient, generous, and friendly. The hotel itself is excellent; among all the guesthouses around, it definitely stands out as high-end. There's also an Address Museum right at the entrance. Everything was perfect – the timing, location, and people. Thumbs up!

I came to this treasure hotel on the last day of the May Day holiday. It was really full of surprises. The beautiful sisters at the front desk of the hotel provided excellent and thoughtful service! Every time I passed by, I was proactive and greeted with a sweet smile. The breakfast dishes were also very rich! The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, the air is fresh, the whole resort is a natural oxygen bar, the body and mind are relaxed, you can leisurely watch the sunrise and sunset in the beautiful Yunpan Mountain 🌅 The scenery is amazing! The SPA recommended by the beautiful sister at the front desk is also very good, professional Thai massage ~ and it is also a Thai technician, super satisfactory stay experience

The room was nice, with one of the larger beds in the scenic area. The air conditioning was strong, and the room was very clean. There was a large balcony with a nice night view. The owner was very nice, and the accommodation was convenient and quick, unlike hotels where it takes forever. The owner was very helpful; I lost my makeup bag, and the owner patiently helped me look for it, showing me the security camera footage. I finally found it! Thank you so much! It was my first time to come to Tongcheng Hot Springs and I felt very comfortable staying here. I have been to so many hot spring hotels and still think this one is really great. The best thing here is that the service level is really considerate and comparable to that of peers. This time, my friend was not feeling well, and Xiao Wen at the front desk helped prepare brown sugar ginger water and delivered it directly to our room. I was very hungry after taking a hot spring bath at night, so the takeaway I ordered was delivered to my room. We were helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out, and we were asked if we needed a late check-out. The whole stay experience was really good. The hotel breakfast is also good, with a wide variety, especially the rice noodles are delicious. Although the room is decorated in a retro style, the bed is big and very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the hot spring, on the first floor of the building where we live, so it's no problem even if the weather is cold. We will definitely stay here next time we visit!
