Hotels in Cebu Downtown, Cebu

The best thing is that they provide towel for just some refundable deposit and no actual cost. Never seen such effectively free towel service in any hostels anywhere. Robinsons Fuente mall is the main landmark to locate this hostel. The staff is courteous, smiling and professional. They have a kitchen downstairs where you can cook your food and/or use the utensils microwave etc. The actual dorm room looks kinda compact with 6 bunk beds, but it was ok. The staff should remind the lower bed guests to keep their bags shoes & stuff properly, they were scattered all over the floor. There is only one toilet & one shower in dorm room. However, the staff told me that we can use the toilet & shower situated downstairs in the kitchen. They have lockers outside the dorm room which you can use with your lock. There is also a mini library outside the dorm. A nice open bar at their entrance. The only problem is there are many roosters in the compound which keep crowing day & night nonstop. Never seen such nonstop crowing roosters in my life!

This was my 3rd stay at this hotel, and I came back mainly for the rooftop bar and the good breakfast. It’s also a nice place if you simply want to relax and spend time indoors. The café on the 3rd floor has a cozy atmosphere, making it a nice spot to unwind with a coffee or get some work done. I’ll definitely be back again.

It was clean, but the room had a pungent, paint-like smell that was irritating to the nose. The mirror didn't have a complementary light, so it was dim. As for amenities, soap and shampoo are standard. I've stayed at many hotels, but this was the only one that provided water instead. It's not bad, but I think soap and shampoo are more of a priority. I was hesitant to bring my own because every other hotel I've stayed at provided them. The remote control was annoying because it didn't function immediately; you'd lose your patience pressing the button on the left part of the large white circle on the remote.

Well, I’d go with my honest review here. First of all… I did not expect my room to be this wide and spacious… it’s amazing. Their consistency in cleanliness is impressive as always, as a person who already stayed here in Mandarin for a couple of times (this is my first time travelling solo). Their breakfast never fails, all hits and no misses. The receptionists, housekeepers, security anf staffs are very kind. The hotel is also across from Ayala Center, which is an easy access for shopping and recreation. So far, 10/10. I would love to stay here again when I come back to Cebu. Shoutout kay Kuya Guard who became my friend, we’ll see each other soon. 😌🤝

Overall, the hygiene was good; I didn't encounter any small bugs during my stay. The towels were a bit old, so if you're particular, I'd recommend bringing your own. The location is very convenient, right near Ayala Mall, just a few minutes' walk away. Security is also fine, there's a safe in the room. You need to use your room card to access the elevators. The room isn't very big, so it might feel cramped if you're traveling with children or have a lot of luggage. The air conditioner and extractor fan were quite noisy. Being close to the street, you could still hear some car noise from outside, even on the 16th floor.

Very nice place and comfortable. Simple and safe place to stay in the city proper. Staff is helpful to help carry my luggage too.

The lobby is so hot. They should put wall fans or stand fans because the aircon is only up to the cashier. And there's PVC plastic on top of the counter, something that qas used at the height of pandemic

The reception area is spacious and welcoming. The property is conveniently located within Cebu Business Park, with easy access to malls, restaurants, coffee shops, and other establishments. The dorm-style room is surprisingly spacious, even with four occupants, and the price is very affordable for the value it offers. The shower and toilet are separate, which is a nice touch. However, the shower does not have a water heater, and the toilet does not have a bidet. Considering the affordable rate, these are understandable trade-offs. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the stay pleasant. A great budget-friendly option for travelers looking for a convenient location in Cebu.

Great stay and excellent location!We stayed at Kasa Boutique Hotel for 4 nights (July 19–23) and had a wonderful experience. The staff members are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and neat. There was a minor issue with the restroom, but it was no big deal and didn't take away from our overall comfort.One of the best parts about this hotel is its location. It is highly accessible and just a short distance from SM City, various coffee shops, and fast-food chains. Highly recommended for convenience and great service!

The hotel is overall clean and tidy, with good sound insulation. There is a wide variety of breakfast options, but they are not entirely free of charge. The only thing I found unsatisfactory was that the hot water in the bathroom wasn't warm enough, which may not be ideal for those accustomed to taking hot showers.
