"Great location in the centre of Cheltenham with all amenities close by. Easy check in and room was clean! We made use of the swimming pool, which was a perfect start to the day. Breakfast was great too with a good selection. Good discount on the parking next door, will stay again!"

Queens Hotel Cheltenham
"very comfy and convenient hotel location"
Malmaison Cheltenham
"Convenient location, very convenient to everywhere. The facilities are a bit old, and the bed is very big. However, the light in the bathroom is very dim, and I can't see anything clearly, which is quite unacceptable."

Portland Apartments
"We stayed in the Prestbury Suite, Cheltenham as a stopover on the way to North Devon. The check in process was easy and efficient. We telephoned the office to obtain the code to access the entry keys from the external safe. The apartment was spotless comfortably furnished and the kitchen had quality appliances and every thing you might need. We very much appreciated how thoughtful our hosts had been. The tea, coffee, biscuits and breakfast cereals, the fact the fridge was stocked with milk juice bread and croissants was extremely welcome. The shower and toilet were very modern and well stocked with quality toiletries. The bed was comfortable. The outlook from the house is on the edge of the town centre so I can’t say it is an attractive outlook but it is very well placed for the high street shops restaurants and bars. Overall we would have no hesitation staying here again. In fact this was our second visit to this property."
The Slaughters Manor House
"This is a beautiful manor hotel with a great environment, but the service was quite problematic. We waited a long time to check in as there was no one at the front desk. Breakfast also took over an hour to be served, which was incredibly slow and messed up our schedule. We were told by the front desk staff at the time that they would refund the breakfast cost as compensation, but it never happened."
The Lansdowne Guest House
"I cannot ask for more for this guest house. Friendly staff and the room is comfortable. It is near to the dining area with beautiful landscape. Though we had to carry our bags/luggage to third floor."
Clarence Court Hotel
"A very well maintained old baron’s house"
Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa
"Perfect stay! Staff were lovely, food was good and thanks to Leann & Tyler for going above & beyond and making our trip all the more memorable! Food was enjoyable and fresh. The spa and massage were lovely, and the jacuzzi was powerful and warm. Dinner was excellent, and the wait for it was worth it. Definitely reccomend the lamb dish! The breakfast was generous and we enjoyed all of it apart from the mushrooms as they were a bit plain. The superior king bed we booked was slightly uncomfortable due to it being two twins pushed together, but the room was very spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing. We would stay again, thanks for having us!"
Rooms on The Prom
"Arrival was shambolic, we had an email saying key would be in Rm 8, it wasn't. We phoned the number on the details and found we were in Room 2. Other people were also arriving without correct room details. 1. The “kitchenette” in the booking details was a table next to the bed, with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, all plugged into a 13amp extension block. There was also a coffee maker unplugged but without any operating instructions. 2. There were two buns in a bowl, plus another on the floor under the table. The instructions on the wall, stated that breakfast was provided, either full English or continental, which was confusing as no further information was given, and our booking confirmation stated that food was not provided. 3. The en-suite was interesting: - The waste plug in the washbasin did not work, so it was not possible to run a basin of water to wash, or to wash up any crockery/cutlery. In contrast, the shower waste was partially blocked, the cover on the waste floated off during a shower. There was a risk of the shower tray overflowing onto the floor. The toilet seat moved. There was an extractor fan in the shower cubicle, but it did not seem to be connected. 4. The windows needed to be pegged to remain open, but there was only one peg and two windows. 5. There was only one cup, but all the other crockery was brand new; the shop labels were still on the plates. The towels and bedding were also brand new, with paper shop labels still attached. 6. By the wardrobe, there were pipes coming out of the wall, without anything attached, we moved the fan in front to prevent walking into them. 7. There was no “room service” during our stay. The only waste bin was a small bathroom bin, which soon became full. "
Albion Street Serviced Apartments
The George
"very cozy and convenient location"
Crescent Place by Mansley
"This was the only low-rated hotel I stayed at out of 20 during my nearly month-long trip to the UK. I was initially hesitant, but pointing out the problems helps future travelers avoid this place and also prompts the operators to improve. 1. Parking costs £15 and requires clicking a link to submit all your credit card information, which poses a potential security risk. I would rather park in a nearby public parking lot. 2. Check-in requires downloading an app to register before receiving the check-in password, which poses a potential risk to personal privacy and mobile banking security. My Huawei phone with HarmonyOS cannot install it, and I only received the password through Ctrip's coordination. 3. On the second night of my stay, around 2 AM, there was a sudden beeping sound. I woke up to find the source of the sound, confirmed it was a fire alarm, then checked the hallway to see if there was actually a fire. Finding it was a false alarm, I wondered what to do. After finally managing to turn off the beeping, I couldn't fall back asleep, and was drowsy while driving the next day. When I left this morning, I took a look around and found that the corridors were narrow, long, and winding, like a maze. The staircases were also narrow, long, and steep. There were no fire escape routes or staircases at all. If a fire were to break out, we would only be able to wait for the fire truck to come to our rescue. I really don't know how the local building fire safety management works."
No131 the Promenade
"Always a pleasant experience at No131, love the breakfast smoothies! Missed the bath this time but the staff explained how to ensure the next booking it is included."
Beaumont House
"The hotel is beautiful and spotless. I love the lighting at night. Easy self-check-in and out. Highly recommend!!"
Central Hotel Cheltenham by Roomsbooked
"Good location and the car parking is a bonus staff very friendly happy with the stay"
Cotswold Grange
"The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. Located in a small town, the surrounding environment is quiet. The bathrooms are especially large, and the common areas are uniquely decorated, making them great spots for taking photos."
No38 the Park
"I like their breakfast and toiletries, design of the place. But the room is too hot for summer without air conditioning even though fans being provided. Furthermore the room is dusty. Locationwise is OK."
