Spacious and clean room. Very helpful front service ladies, always standby to help. About 5-10 minutes walking to the mountain resort. There is one of the largest shopping mall just in between the hotel and the resort. Fifth floor has many restaurant. There are also many eateries just behind the hotel with 5-10 minutes walk. Very commended when you come to Chengde

The overall is really good, the room is very good, we are used to using our own things, the store's things are useless, I looked at the sheets and quilts very clean and tidy, the bathroom is also very clean, the front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the decoration is a bit old, others can say that you can't pick it up.

An old four-star standard hotel. As soon as you enter the door, you feel like you have returned to the 80s and 90s. The hotel is in a superior location, on the banks of the Wulie River, not far from Chengde's famous attractions, and it is very convenient to take a taxi. First let me explain, I forgot to take photos of the hotel. Staying at Ziyu Holiday Hotel (Chengde Mountain Resort) is mainly for the convenience of visiting Chengde Mountain Resort. It is only a few hundred steps from the hotel to Chengde Mountain Resort. We stayed in a double standard room. The hotel room was not big but the facilities were OK. The hotel front desk clerk warmly introduced us carefully. Since I didn’t take any photos of the hotel, I’ll post some photos of Chengde Mountain Resort. The scenery of Chengde Mountain Resort in autumn is pretty good.

Great location, short drive or 15 minute walk to Summer palace. Close to many restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Hotel is very modern and spotlessly clean. Rooms were very comfortable, although the one I staye din didn't have a fridge. Staff were extremely friendly. Didn't have breakfast but would consider getting it next time as the hotel was so good. Will definitely stay here again!

My experience was overall good, but the bathroom of the room I booked for the first night (single, queen bed) was so stinky at night that I could not bear it. I called the concierge, and the maid came to clean the bathroom (they were very fast= good service) but the problem is in the pipes, not in the cleanliness, (it was very clean) so spraying a bit of air freshener won't solve the problem. I changed rooms the following night. Also, it was quite noisy at night and in the early morning, they should keep an eye on noisy guests. Last thing, but not less important, people were smoking inside the hotel corridors and it was stinky. The management should try to enforce the rules of non-smoking. I understand that know nobody in the hotel wants to call on the smoking clients, but not enforcing the law results in other clients being unhappy too. All in all, I would probably stay there again.

The Resort is very beautiful, well maintained, with nice areas and excellent location and service. The room clean and comfortable, the only thing we found was that the bathroom was small. We loved the food from the restaurant!

Guest room: I booked an elegant double bed, next to the lobby on the first floor, next to the elevator, people coming and going, and there is a parking lot outside the window.
