Fethiye Old Town Rooms

Nice location next to the promenade full of restaurants… very friendly staff- the owner, the receptionists and the housekeepers ladies- all top class people…they gave us a lot of information about all we asked…THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Hopefully we come back very soon!

The communication from them could be much better, I was sent a message asking time of arrival, which I replied to immediately, I was expecting another message telling me how I should check in since I was arriving approx one hour after they leave work for the day, late morning the day of check in I was still waiting so I had to chase them on whatsApp there was no other way!!! What can I say about the “suite” I’m sure you will make your own mind up when you see the pictures, they are also on the google review (nothing like the pictures posted by the property online) it was not habitable, ok they said it was a budget “suite” but there is a difference between budget and uninhabitable, filthy and in a state of bad repair, yes the location is ok and the wifi actually worked but that doesn’t excuse the so many bad things, including a bed that was like laying on a wooden plank and pillows you really don't want to put your face near. Also so many things not correct on their listings, Hygiene Plus / Daily disinfection in all rooms (what a joke) many things listed but not in the room, no kettle etc etc Also note there is no elevator and there are a lot of stairs especially if you are on the top floor, with nobody there to help with bags etc it’s not a place to choose unless you are physically fit and healthy. I was booked in for two nights but left after one, I asked for a refund but I am just being ignored by them. I am now staying at a place not far away, a new property and I am staying in a real suite for very little extra money, it’s worth paying a little extra. I wouldn’t stay at Downtown Fethiye Suites again if it was free, do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs!!!!

We rented a room for 3 people, soundproof wimdows are non existent and the air conditioning was limited to 1 room, which is really nice considering it's 35 degrees now in fethiye. We were greeted by a girl who spoke 2 words of English, my friends claim they saw the owner but i didn't, just a cleaning lady now and then, i don't know what she does though cause she didn't clean our room once. This is without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever been to, i have a sofa with sheets and nothing more, not even something to cover myself. Maybe it would be worth mentioning that the muezzin sings every night at 4 o clock and the so called soundproof windows don't contribute to lower the volume 1 cause they don't exist and even if they did i wouldn't be able to keep them closed since as i mentioned this room has no ac whatsoever. I'm writing this review from my uncomfortable sofa while sweating like a pig on a spit and i hope this hellish place closes ASAP.

It's a great hotel with comfy beds and a good manager. I'm so happy we stayed here. The location is also great being right in the heart of the cultural area with museums and access to great hikes. The manager was incredibly accomodating as we booked late and arrived late. We were made to feel very welcome and the art and decoration on the walls is lovely. it has a homely feel with features such as book swap which is a boon to travellers who have run out of literature. would definitely recommend.

Terrible hotel. Be careful, unscrupulous owner. The money was not refunded, although it was stipulated by the booking conditions. They cheated several times that the money was sent. But it was lie. As a result, the booking returns the money.

The apartment is in an excellent location, you cannot improve upon this! The staff are wonderful, so friendly and do anything you need. The apartment felt like a home. Only downsides were there is no washing machine, i was staying for a month, so that was a shame. No cooking facilities, this may not matter to some but if staying a long time, would be good! The bathroom is very tired and worn and in other places the apartment needed some repairs, cigarette burns on sofa etc. but overall a good stay!
