Nice hotel with rooms more than expected for price. The beefeater food in the evening was very poor and not worth the money paid. We couldn’t be accommodated in the ‘restaurant area due to now tables however these tables were never used in the 2 hours we had to spend in the bar area. When the food arrived it was very bland and with small portions. I would highly recommend going to another local pub/restaurant for better quality, service and price.

Staff and lovely and rooms are very clean. But if staying on a hot day don’t expect to sleep much. They have provided fans in each room but as the windows only open 2 inch’s the air circulating is warm!

While the staff were lovely, room was ok, could do with a refresh…the biggest issue is the lack of air con. With temperatures hitting 27 and paying over £450 for 3 nights, it is criminal not to have what is now considered a basic in a hotel. While the did supply a fan, it basically just blew hot air around. The hotel does really need an upgrade, paint peeling in the bathroom, mould in grouting, mattress worn with large dip in one side, chaise longue looked like you’d find it in someone’s back garden, no USB or USB-C charging ports to list a few. I have to stress staff and cleaning team were brilliant.

This hotel was great. Clean, good value, helpful staff and free parking. The only thing is, it has no air-conditioning so you have to the window open and the outside traffic is a bit noisy.

Good location. Clean hotel. However, we couldn't control the room temperature, no wonder they had fans running when we checked in. Was more uncomfortable overnight as unable to open the door for fresh air and as oer hitel policy, uostairs windows only open a tiny bit to stop the unfortunate window accidents. Next door, Beefeater could do with a deep clean, especially the blinds, though. Otherwise, staff all round were welcoming and respectful.

Disappointed, shower room has mould and rust in places, but the bug bear is the room was ridiculously hot and stuffy... No air conditioning. Pretty much 27c even at night with no justified reason even though it was way cooler outside. Provided fan was useless, can create more draft after a tin of baked beans. Notice says room gets hot but open window to cool down... I would of if window opened more than one inch as there was a safety lock on it.. says it's for my health and safety....I'm 45 not 2, like the option of unlocking it if no children present. Slept with a wet towel over me and a fan. Only positive thing is mattress is comfy. Beefeater seems good value although lack of plates and other few annoying things not in right place bugged me. Would I stay here again... No chance

We stayed in the Frome Premier Inn for 3 nights. Room was large and comfortable, as expected of any Premier Inn. Large free car park. Numerous bad points which let this hotel down. Air conditioning was not working, windows only opened a few inches so room was stiflingly hot at night, the fan provided was unfortunately so noisey we were unable to use it at night as it kept us awake. Poor quality toiletries provided, they had no perfume to them at all. Also poor quality tea bags/ coffee in rooms. Insufficient clothes hangers, there were only 6 for two guests. Lighting in the bathroom was far too dim. The high fixed Shower head over the bath inconvenient if you didn't want to get your hair wet, needs to be on a riser rail. Non-fitted bottom bed sheet was far too small which required constant adjustment all night! Winter duvet was inappropriate in June.. a lighter summer duvet would be welcome as the room was too hot. A staff member in during breakfast was dismissive and curt. We had paid £10.99 for a cooked breakfast and was dissapointed to see guests who had only paid for the continental breakfast, helping themselves to the cooked breakfast buffet unchallenged by the staff. This my seem a trivial issue but it is unfair! The worst point for us was that the seats in the restaurant were fifthly and smelled disgusting! 🤮 They should have been changed years ago. Overall, a decent Premier Inn ruined by things that could easily be rectified.

The room was ridiculously hot (despite only being 13/14 degrees outside. 3 of us in a room with windows that open 2 inches and fan that was provided only pushing warm air around the room. Would have slept better in my car in my car park. Was told restaurant was full so went to easy elsewhere but when we went in for a drink it was dead.
