Arrived around 6pm and the checked inn was great. Got room on higher floor as per requested. Nice pool view. We didnt take the breakfast as we plan going out eat at that time. Overall it was a nice place to stay especially the location was superb.

Is a good hotel, at a very convenient location, near and short to Macalister street and gurney. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just one thing the room sound proof are not that good, can listen next door loud chatting or alarm sound. Overall still ok with the hotel

Superb location and walking distance to famous eateries .. good service and the room features are exactly same as advertised. The pool view is nice which was facing the Komtar. Grab to the hotel from airport cost fr RM18-20. I will stay again when I visit Penang . Value for money

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The check-in process was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly, which made for a warm welcome. The room was clean and had a nice view, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is great, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. I also appreciated the option for a late check-out, which allowed me to enjoy my stay a little longer. I will definitely be back to stay again!

I had booked 4 rooms for 4 nights stay at St Giles Penang George Town, 6-10 Nov 2024. My group of friends totally enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and cosy. At the front desk reception, we received the prompt and friendly service from Karthy, ever smily and helpful. She had also helped to assign rooms together on the high floor as requested. At checkout, we were again served by her with warmth and smile. St. Giles has a wonderful staff. Location is central, excellent to explore the streets. Hospility we received at St. Giles is superb. Great views from hotel rooms. Great job! St. Giles' Georgetown Penang team.

Service is very good from checking in to check out especially at the concierge However, the rooms are abit run down, and there is a damp smell makes it not very comfortable. The power plug location is not practical, it should be at the side table not otherwise. Breakfast was okay nice spread.

The hotel staff are so friendly, attentive and helpful. I was constantly greeted with a smile and everyone offered their help when I looked confused. The room was clean, spacious for 2 people with 2 big luggage bags. The complimentary snacks in the room were a pleasant surprise. The pool is breathtaking and lastly I appreciated the 24/7 manned reception it made checking in and out so efficient. I will definitely stay at the Prestige when I visit Penang.

The first room offered was tired and old, the fittings past their used by date and it smelt mouldy, especially the doona. The curtains did not draw properly to shut out the light. The room was beside the road and noisy. Minimal sound proofing, I could hear the next rooms conversations and TV. Mind you with the noisy air-conditioner going those sounds were drowned out. However the air-conditioner didn't function properly. Credit to one of the desk staff he moved me on request the following day to a room, quieter facing an inner walled area. It had a new air con and tap fittings. A refurbed room. The TV had 4 channels and poor reception. Even if tuned properly. Check in is an inconvenient 3pm be warned.. The breakfast area has a pleasant outlook with a basic range of cuisine to suit different tastes. Don't forget the advertised price of breakfast does not include 8% taxes and charges. On checkin foreigners need to pay a tourism tax 10 myr per day and all guests pay a separate 2 myr heritage tax. In summary a functional stay. The location is ideal to explore old Georgetown.

It’s our maiden trip to Penang and I honestly did not have much expectations but our holiday was off to a GREAT start right from arrival. while we looked at photos and write-ups prior, the room was so much larger than we thought. the King bed is 3m wide which is much more spacious than what we’re used to back home—wonderful for us cos we were travelling with a 4yo. We also hadn’t realised that our room came with lounge access for evening drinks + snacks so that was a nice surprise. The view on the rooftop was breathtaking and we had some really nice photos taken. Guests also get to access the sister hotel’s facilities, which is a short buggy ride (or walk) away, so that was another pleasant surprise. the pool at G hotel Gurney was more varied and fun for the child, so that was another plus. breakfast spread is also really good. If we were to come back to Penang, i would not hesitate to stay with them again.

Love the vibe at Kim Haus so much !! The environment there is so creative and antique, you can see lots of wooden-designed stuffs and amazing paintings there. I highly recommend that people should sleep over at there as you can enjoy yourself in the performance of the bands there, drink some alcohols and just chilled........ The rooms of Kim Haus are just so right and warm.......
