Hotels in Yong Qing Fang/Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Guangzhou

The hotel's location is right in the heart of Yongqing Fang. The view from the terrace is also quite good. The room was clean and hygienic, and we received complimentary welcome fruit. However, the terrace door was a bit difficult to open, especially after it was locked from the inside. Also, the curtains weren't very effective at blocking light, particularly on the far right where a lot of light came through.

The overall all experience was good, staffs were friendly and helpful. We were staying at the room that has the river view, the view is beautiful because the location of the hotel is in the center. The host at the front desk who named Zixuan Yan was being very helpful, he helped us checked in the room, and made the reservation of the restaurant for us. But I really don’t recommend to dinning at the restaurant named hongtu hall, never been to a restaurant that sucks from the bottom to the top, it doesn’t matter if you have reservations that has a specific number or not, they will sit you by whoever stand the closest to the entrance, and if you don’t ask the host and keep waiting for them to call your number, you will be excluded from being sited like forever. Also, food takes like 25 to 35 minutes to come, coffee, cocktail and tea are good, but this 5 star hotel which located at Guangzhou which is known for good food that has only one kind of the hot sauce is really not professional, and it’s not even hot at all. Then comes to payment, we tried to do room charge, and filled out the information on the receipt that they provided, then they told us to wait cuz they need to check if the information is correct, so we tried to be patient and waited for like 20 minutes, I was confused how come they took forever to come back to tell us if everything is going well, then I asked the same girl is everything ok and if we can go now, she was surprised that we still sitting there and wait saying “oh, they didn’t tell you it went through?” I was pissed and didn’t say anything, but what do you mean if other servers supposed to tell me when you are the one that respond to our table. The whole restaurant is super unorganized and maybe they are popular and busy, so they don’t need to really care about every single one of us. It’s really one of the most ridiculous experiences I’ve ever had and not to mentioned is in a well known 5 star hotel. I love Guangzhou and white swan hotel ever since I was little, it’s one of the signature hotel in Guangzhou that whoever born and raised will be proud to talk about, it still are but I don’t think I will ever come back here again.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of great food options nearby. It's a small but charming hotel, and the overall cleanliness is very good. The air conditioning in the lobby is really strong. Overall, it offers good value for money. My only regret is that the small bed in the family room squeaks a lot when you move, making me afraid to even turn over.

Stayed in Voco Hotel for 5 nights, we are very satisfied with the hotel room, services and the breakfast buffet! The receptionist are friendly and approachable. The hotel is near a few attractions - 沙面岛，永庆坊 and 上下九步行街 which is very convenient, just about 10 to 15mins walk. There are many restaurants and shops along the shangxiajiu jie.There’s also a street nearby with shops selling Chinese herbs! We really enjoyed our stay there. It was so convenient having everything within easy reach. Thanks to the staff at the reception and ground floor lobby for their help in providing directions and information. Appreciate it very much!

The overall experience at Wei Ba Yiju Residence was quite good. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water supply was stable. The front desk was efficient with check-in. It's very close to Yongqingfang, making it convenient to explore Xiguan. The value for money is excellent, and I would consider staying here again on my next visit.

The overall design is clean and sleek, and the single room has enough space with a very comfortable mattress. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and the front desk lady was especially gentle. The location is excellent, right next to Shamian Island which is super convenient, with plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment. It's great value for money and perfect for a solo trip. I'll definitely be back!

The hotel is located within the Yongqing Fang scenic area, but it's only 30 meters from the entrance on Duobao Road, which is very convenient. It's clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, with all the necessary hotel facilities. I highly recommend it for the abundance of food options available right on the surrounding streets.

This is a hotel I found after searching all night until 4 AM. If you're currently planning your trip, you can skip this and book this hotel directly. The hotel opened in 2026, so it's very new and incredibly clean. The facilities are brand new, and even as a very clean person, I felt very relaxed. What I liked most was the bedding; the mattress was incredibly comfortable, and I haven't slept so soundly in a long time. The hotel didn't have a musty smell or feel damp, and there were no cockroaches or other small animals. The location is also excellent, near the Cantonese Cuisine Museum, with a large food street downstairs, and it's very close to Beijing Road. The service was also very attentive and meticulous. The staff, both the young ladies and the cleaning ladies, were all smiling and helpful. They didn't rush me to check out even after midnight, which made me feel very relaxed.

I stayed here for a business trip, and the overall experience was excellent. The room was quiet and peaceful, perfect for both work and rest. The member discount was significant, and the breakfast was plentiful. The late check-out privilege was a lifesaver, perfectly accommodating my schedule. The service was professional and efficient. This is definitely my top choice for business travel.

I usually stay at Atour or Ji Hotel, but this time I tried Orange Hotel after a long while, and it was quite a pleasant surprise. First off, the king room was incredibly spacious. The large TV screen was perfectly positioned opposite the bed, and both the bed and pillows were very comfortable – perfect for a staycation. Also, the lighting around the bathroom mirror and the full-length mirror was excellent. It was great for putting on makeup, unlike the dim lighting you often find at Ji Hotel. Even in the king room, there was a large table and a sofa, which was convenient for eating takeout. The location near Xihua Road also had plenty of food options downstairs. Overall, I was very satisfied.
