The hotel is located next to Hoan Kiem Lake, 3 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, 8 minutes walk to Hanoi Cathedral. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to 36 Lines Street. There are many restaurants downstairs. The hotel is very well equipped in the local area. First of all, it is clean and hygienic. The room is relatively large and has a balcony. The front desk service is very good. They helped to carry the luggage to the room and upgraded my room. I especially praise GIna at the front desk for her enthusiastic service, answering and helping me with the questions I raised. Knowing that I was very tired coming from Ho Chi Minh City, I was allowed to check in early and upgraded the room.

Thank you, San Boutique Hotel, for such a lovely stay! The entire experience was amazing. All the staff are incredibly friendly, making us feel so welcome throughout our visit. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Plus, the location is perfect—right near the heart of the city, which made everything super convenient. A special shoutout to Ms. Cara, who went above and beyond to take care of us. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay extra memorable. We love this place so much and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

The hotel looks a bit dated and is in a great location with a lovely view of the lake. I was very impressed with the attitude of the staff, who were really helpful and kind, especially Ms. Cara, who took our family around the hotel and introduced us to all the attractions. must-see sights of the area,everything is outstanding.

Ok room. Fantastic location. Un-eatable breakfast . Location is quiet nice street, close to lake, in the old quarter, friendly atmosphere. All great. But the hotel is more a 2 star than a 4 star. If they recommend San Dining, which is a sister hotel restaurant, dont do it . It is terrible.

Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The staff provided excellent service, always making us feel welcome and cared for. The breakfast was very good, offering a mix of traditional and Western options, with some items prepared fresh upon request. While not overly abundant, it was more than sufficient. The location is spectacular, right in the heart of Hanoi, although it became exceptionally crowded on New Year’s Eve, which made getting around difficult—but this was beyond the hotel’s control. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. We recommend choosing a higher floor for a better experience. The real highlight of this hotel is its fantastic value for money.
