This has been one of my favourite stays of all time. The owners treated me like family, they even invited me to sit down and have dinner with them since the timing was right and I was a solo traveller. The owner knows how to cook a delicious home meal! The service is absolutely on point. To top it, the rooms are super clean, not a single speck anywhere and its using all newly renovated lights, showers and air conditioner. It looks better in person than in the photos they provide - thats rare. The location is also optimal, and they do free luggage drop off at Huangshanbei which is super convenient. I will definitely be coming back if I come back to visit Huangshan in a different season. Thank you very much 叔叔和阿姨！

The room was great, and contrary to what some might expect, the soundproofing was excellent. The service was top-notch, including pick-up and drop-off from the station. As it's their family home, it was impeccably clean and hygienic. Even though there's a family-run restaurant downstairs, the prices were incredibly fair and reasonable (no inflated tourist prices!), and the food was absolutely delicious – the owner must be a former chef! The room's location right next to the high-speed rail station was super convenient and offered lovely views. What's more, the owner even arranged rides to other destinations for free. Downstairs, they also run a small shop selling water, snacks, and even hiking poles, all at regular supermarket prices. This was incredibly convenient, saving us the hassle of searching elsewhere or bargaining.

Recommended🥳, the trip to Huangshan was very enjoyable. Self-built house, like living in a relative's house. There is a restaurant and a canteen on the first floor, the food in the store tastes delicious😋. The store owner is very nice👍I didn't make a guide for my first climb to Huangshan, so I listened to the store's arrangements and suggestions. They knocked on the door early in the morning to remind me, and I ate freshly cooked wontons. There was a car arranged at the door to go to the Huangshan Tourist Distribution Center. Everything went smoothly! Because I traveled off-peak, thank the boss lady for letting me upgrade to a suite room unexpectedly🙏Thank you

AAinara | 小爱The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. They offered a complimentary private car service for pick-up and drop-off to the hotel. They even arranged tailored pick-up and drop-off services for our subsequent trip to Huangshan and thoughtfully provided us with raincoats and hiking poles. The location is excellent—about a 10‑minute drive from the Huangshan park entrance—yet the hotel sits in a quiet area surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. The hotel’s free shuttle to Huangshan was extremely convenient for a group of our size. The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; All 7 of our rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very relaxing stay. The property is so tastefully designed that we were content to simply linger in the common areas after breakfast, sipping tea or practicing Chinese calligraphy in the serene setting. The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after. We particularly enjoyed the welcome hot tea while hotel owner Fang Fei introduced many interesting places to visit around Huangshan. The team also arranged a half‑day excursion to Mukeng Village Bamboo Forest, where the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed, and it was amazing climbing the hills through such dense bamboo forest. After long days of sightseeing and mountain climbing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a warm and hearty dinner awaited us, making it feel like coming home each evening. Fang Fei is also a tea master, and she not only taught us a lot about Huangshan’s famous teas but also hosted a tea‑appreciation and meditation session for us, which was exactly what our family needed after hectic travels through many Chinese cities before arriving in Huangshan. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Huangshan.

LLantingaiThis trip, I stayed at the Baiyun Hotel with my child while visiting Huangshan. We took a shuttle bus from the South Gate into the scenic area, then transferred to the Yungu Cableway. After getting off the cableway, we enjoyed the scenery along the way and hiked for about an hour and a half to Bright Summit. Baiyun Hotel is just a short descent from Bright Summit. I honestly didn't have high expectations for the accommodation, knowing how difficult it is to transport supplies up the mountain, figuring it was just a place to sleep. However, Baiyun Hotel pleasantly surprised me! First, the check-in process at the front desk was quick, and they even assigned a dedicated service butler to lead us to our room. The butler helped confirm our dinner reservation, explained the room facilities, turned on the heating, and reminded us that the rack above could be used to dry clothes. Although the room wasn't large, it had many thoughtful and meticulous touches. In addition to the standard amenities in the bathroom, there was a foot-soaking tub (with three disposable liners), and the butler brought us two herbal foot-soaking packs. Laundry detergent was provided on the wall, and there were two umbrellas. The room also had two clean down jackets available for guests who wanted to go out early. The butler even brought some fruit and local snacks. Throughout our stay, from dinner and breakfast to weather forecasts and check-out, the butler provided attentive and meticulous care. In the evenings, the hotel offered folk performances, and at 5:30 AM, they organized groups in the lobby to take early risers to a sunrise viewing spot. While the hardware might be limited at Baiyun Hotel, situated at the peak of Huangshan, its service awareness and attention to detail could rival many five-star hotels. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to stay on Huangshan mountain.

It is in the village but very quiet and hidden in the wild. It is recommended to rent a car and drive by yourself. [Environment] The whole environment is very good. I like the architectural design and materials, and the quality of the supplies is also very high. There is a small door in the B&B. You can see a small stream when you walk down. It is very good. You will feel much better after walking! [Facilities] The hotel also has hot springs, which require reservations and the staff will prepare them. The hot springs are soaked in each room, and the privacy is very good. The B&B has its own restaurant. I had a dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast set that came with the room. The breakfast was a set meal, which was very rich and satisfying! [Service] I drank the tea brewed by the boss in the lobby. The tea I planted in front of the house + the mountain spring water drained from the mountain! The boss and the staff here are very nice. I have been recommending it to my friends during my stay.

GGuest UserThis stay really exceeded my expectations! I booked this place after seeing the recommendation in a book before the holiday. Through communication, I felt that the boss was very nice. He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

It's a very cost-effective option for a family of three. The owner's pick-up and drop-off service was also warm and punctual. 'Climb Huangshan and no other mountain is worth seeing' – what a perfect end to the trip!

The owner upgraded me to a moon-viewing room for free. The scenery was really great. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. I was very satisfied with the dinner order. Every dish was delicious. Eight dishes + a few bottles of beer and drinks cost about 60 to 70 yuan per person. I recommend everyone to come. Attached is a picture of the scenery seen from the floor-to-ceiling window in the morning.
