The resort is natural and the sea is beautiful turquoise colour.Very relaxing holiday.Snorkling is okay but the current can be strong. The beach villa very spacious.Ensure you have strong repellant mosquito is very bad (not fumigated only some days). Staff lovely and helpful especially Islam in the bar. What let the resort down is the food. No salad or fruit very limited options. Lunch and Dinner same limited options and nearly same every day. Advice bring some snacks with you.Due to the food options I mark the review only average.I stop last year in other 4*resort and Rahha resort not near good as the previous holiday. Will I get back to Rahha?NO but definitely go back to Maldives.

The holiday that we needed: into the nature, relaxed vibe, friendly and polite staff. The rooms are big and comfortable, we loved the half open bathroom that includes double shower: one outdoor and one indoor. Great and efficient customer care through WhatsApp messages for any request/ activity updates. The Dive Centre is a 5 stars one! Mamdhooh and his team are passionate and willing to organise the best dives tailored for your level in so many wonderful reefs!! We loved it.

I feel that due to issues the owner is facing in his business life, that there is no money being spent on the resort as everything seems tired,As for the location it is second to none. The staff at the main bar deserve a mention for putting a proper shift in daily.Big thanks to Pra,Moon and Islam.Food was poor (and I put this down to circumstances) and the biggest turn off was the amount of rats ( sorry but calling them 'House pets or Tree hampsters ) still leaves them to be a rat.

Our recent stay at Rahaa Resort in the Maldives was deeply disappointing and felt far below the standards expected of a 4-star resort—it seemed more like a 1-star experience. From the start, the experience was frustrating. Upon arriving at Malé airport, we discovered that the resort had failed to pay for our connecting flight, forcing us to cover the cost ourselves. While a partial refund was eventually issued, this was an unnecessary and stressful start to our holiday. The accommodation was completely unacceptable. The room was poorly maintained, with dirty and stained bedding, soft furnishings, and towels. We encountered ants and cockroaches in the bathroom, alongside unsafe electrical outlets and a shower with no water pressure or hot water. The finishes were rushed and of poor quality, with stains and marks throughout. Incredibly, the fire alarm still had its cover left on. Basic amenities were also neglected—our room lacked drinking water for over two days despite repeated requests. In the humid Maldives climate, this was particularly concerning for both our health and comfort. The dining experience was no better. The food was of poor quality, with limited options and artificial, sugary beverages. To make matters worse, the water served in the restaurant was mouldy, suggesting that the containers hadn’t been cleaned properly. The attitude of the staff compounded the situation. Despite raising our concerns, no meaningful action was taken. It felt as though our dissatisfaction was ignored rather than addressed. We were so dissatisfied with the resort that we wanted to leave after the first day but were unable to do so due to flight unavailability. Overall, this trip was far from the relaxing and enjoyable experience we had hoped for. We do not recommend this resort to anyone.

Rated 2 out of 5 only because of the incredible beauty of the island, the islands views, lovely room and outdoor bathroom and the staff. Be aware there are only two domestic flights a day operating from Male to Kadhdhoo, these are just after 11am and just before 6pm. When landing at 11.15am we had to wait almost 7 hours when we were promised by our tour operator a maximum of 2 hour wait. Likewise, there are only 2 domestic flights operating on return, therefore we had to depart Rahaa at 4.40am when our return flight to the UK from Male was at 13.20, another 6 hour wait in Male making it an exceptionally long journey. Our booking confirmation and tickets stated we were entitled to the Moonima lounge as complimentary on arrival in Male however when we made our way there we were told as of 1st November this was no longer complimentary to Rahaa guests. After stern words with the resort via email we were eventually permitted complimentary entry. Perhaps the removal of the complimentary lounge is regards the owner of Rahaa being in over $1 million worth of debt to Maldivian airlines? Read further on. After arrival in the dark hours, on checkin we noted we were not given the upgrade as booked with Bluebay, we were fobbed off this was only if available and on a request basis only, my ticket and hotel confirmation clearly stated ocean view room booked. I stood my ground and two hours later given an ocean view room. As a travel agent for 20 years I know the difference between a guaranteed upgrade and a request. Initially the room was perfect and the view in the morning through the foliage to the ocean was stunning, photos don’t do it justice however no hand towels, bath towels stained and bed linen and pillow cases heavily stained. Beach towels were only left twice in the two weeks we stayed and were threadbare and stained and my husband cut his head on the heavily overhanging foliage from the beach to the room, when reported this was cut back. I loved the outside shower but unfortunately after a couple of minutes use it looses all pressure and becomes a trickle, good for a quick freshen up though under the stars. Mini bar in the room with 2 beers, 2 cans of pop and a small white wine which was topped up daily and two bottles of water left daily, however in out second week the cans of pop changed from full size cans to mini tiny cans and only one bottle of water a day left as they were running out. Hairdryer worked well and we were given an ironing board for the two weeks when we requested one. Our TV didn’t work but after a couple of attempts to fix we were given a new one which worked fine but not really any channels to watch, unfortunately no movies for the rainy days. Pillows on the day bed on the patio were covered in mould. Kobar not open as advertised, only open 4.30 to 7pm weather permitting. Also no bonfire at Kobar as advertised. The resort is running on minimal staff, read on for my thoughts on this…. The beach is only sandy in parts but m

celebrated me and my wife's wedding anniversary at Rahaa. from the time we arrived it was an amazing experience. we stayed at a Ocean View Villa. Everything in the resort is very natural and in our opinion simple. there was ample amount of food during meal times, the varieties were not much but for a 4 star resort we did not mind. the spa was amazing. we did a special dinner under the stars and the hotel gave us a 20% discount. will be back again

If you’re considering booking this hotel, I’d suggest looking for an alternative as you’ll likely be disappointed. We had a lovely holiday, but that was mainly down to the beach / weather / views and relaxing environment. There were unfortunately a lot of things that could have been better. We travelled from London and the journey was far longer than expected. We had to wait in Male airport for 5 hours, before a domestic flight of 40 mins and then a 40 min boat ride. Landed into Male at 11:15am and arrived at the resort at 6:30pm. We had been told it was a seaplane transfer, which was unfortunately not the case. The food is very disappointing and very repetitive. Not much choice and not very exciting. This is one of the biggest let downs. Drinks service was also quite slow at the restaurant and soft drinks were always flat. We wouldn’t have minded at all, we understand it’s a remote island and not going to be amazing, but for 4* we expected better. The food actually felt ok for breakfast and lunch, but it was the same at dinner when you expect a little bit more. The weather early Dec is beautiful - hot and sunny. The beaches are incredible and never feel very busy which is nice. Beach shoes recommended for getting in and out of the sea. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom was a highlight and good AC and minibar for drinks (beer, coke, sprite and red wine included in AI package). One final disappointment was that the website states there is an ice cream station ‘Kream’ and the option to get snacks from the bar, but there wasn’t anything available. I’d bring snacks with you if you can. Overall, not sure it was worth the money or the very long transfer - there are plenty of nicer resorts. Rahaa need to up their game a little to draw people this far.
