Good service from reception Jayce and housekeeping trainee girl from Semporna (didnt get the name)... Very helpful and fast action.. Management have to look into the qibla sign in the cottage... Fresh room after renovations..

We revisited the property because of the location just a week apart. First time the price was rm100, then a week after that rm135 including breakfast. They do not have option to exclude the breakfast. When I inquired about the breakfast, the front desk showed me their menu with wide range of breakfast but the next morning, we were given a coupon to tick one of 5 choices, 2 of which were not available. Choices were bad, food was bad, all in all - rm35 breakfast for 2 was not worth it. You could find a better tasting options in the town which is just a walking distance. They will ask for deposit. First time, the deposit was rm50, then they increased it to rm100 a week later. So, I am not sure how long this review will stand correct when it comes to the amount of deposit they actually required. Telephone was not working (which they change for us), TV was not working (which they couldn't do much because they haven't applied for Astro), room slightly dusty, flooring makes sound when you walk, so you might need to tiptoe if someone is sleeping, the garden table at the balcony could be hazardous simply because they failed to adhere to the law of physics, and when you thought it couldn't go worse, the next day we had a very noisy guests with kids running and shouting as early as 6am in the morning. Apart of the location, I don't think I would rate this property as good value for the money.

I loved my stay at this resort. Its location is fantastic! I was looking to disconnect and relax - and that’s precisely what I got! It is situated on top of a hill and it is completely surrounded by nature. The room was great! It had a TV, a nice bathroom and a big and comfortable bed. I loved the wet Mee Hoon with seafood at the restaurant. All in all, it’s an ideal place to relax, stay a bit away from the noise of the city and enjoy the lovely views of Mount Kinabalu and the surroundings. Many thanks to the staff for making this experience awesome!

The place is beautiful but you can't see it. The road is ok.. near the town it is easy to buy supplies. Can you imagine what it's like to live in a caravan?

Kalu nak selesa this homestay its not for you..kalu nk cari tmpt utk tido sbb dh penat kn jalan2, tido kt cnie ok jgk lah ...saya ambil bilik yg tnds dia kat luar ..overall ok jgk lah stay kt cnie sbb murah ...for the location its recommended

Lovely resort right inside Kinabalu Park. Chalets are surrounded by greens and nearby jungle trails. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel too. Good breakfast spread at the hotel. BUT the Lunch buffet was disappointing wth limited spread & coffee not included. At RM50 plus per head, i would have expected coffee to be inclusive. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. BUT no wifi inside Liwagu Suites and Astro doesn't work due to weather 😅. Hotel staff shows great hospitality and responds promptly to requests which is great inspite of some shortcomings

View hotel lawa, comfortable, cool, I like it, thank you, but next time prepare a spoon hahaha, the TV is not on, but xpelah, just come to eat, right?

Every room has balcony 😊 Don’t: No electricity upon arrival Bed linen were filled with dust, small small dead bugs. Quite old, can hear from downstairs footsteps, shower, television voice, people talking. Common: The road to Nikgold quite challenging ( as common as other areas in Kundasang, so it wasnt a big deal) No phone line, they do provide WiFi which is excellent Overall it was a pleasant stay. Due to the various local architectural structures with unique characteristics, many small animals can enter the room. Yes, but most of them will not provoke people except mosquitoes and are mostly harmless. All ratings are relative, after all, there are only a handful of B&Bs that are so close to the mountain near Kundashan Town. As a homestay for climbing the sacred mountain, it is generally very good. The environment is still very comfortable, but the humidity is too high and the sound insulation of the walls is not very satisfactory. The hot water facilities are not as bad as other reviews. They may have been improved. They are cleaned every day, and they are still a little careful about hygiene. Breakfast can be full. It’s just over 1 km to the Shenshan Park Headquarters. If the weather is good, you can see the Shenshan Peak in the lodge. There are dogs, but they are relatives. As long as they know you, they will not be fierce. One night, there was no street light in the darkness. Walking back to the room from the Borneo Hotel far away, it was quite warm when the dog came out to lead the way at the entrance of the lodge. The mountain is really quite sensible.
